Hey now, hope everyone is having a great weekend. This Purple Punch didn't break soil until 4 days from getting wet. I ended up with a slightly mutated Purple Punch Seedling as she has 3 Cotyledons instead of 2. I have friends who have had this and they told me they turned out just fine yield and terp wise just really based more on the phenotype than the fact that it was genetically mutated. She is in a Solo Cup in ProMix/Perlite under the Spectrum X at 30% Power which is 230 Watts in V1 or Veg Mode. Very happy so far with the light as it is keeping all nodes tight and all leafs green and pointed upwards. I will also this Purple Punch's roots to fill the solo cup and then I will transplant her into a final 3.4 gallon airpot and hook her up to an auto feeding halo coming from a reservoir. When a plants roots are just fertigated in soil they are lacking in oxygen until some drying takes place. In Coco Coir, they have the perfect ratio of H20/Oxygen just after watering and as long as the Coir stays somewhat saturated. This is why high frequency fertigation pays off in coco coir. My plan is to top her one time by day 28 or so at the latest, or at least before she starts flowering, so whatever node that will be depends on her growth between now and then. They were both putting on weight. The one you see by itself with the Phlizon light was always on 16/8 but the other plant had to be on 12/12 because it was in a tent with a photoperiod plant (white widow which I almost posting). The phlizon light seems to produce more nutrient burn even tho it is lower wattage. I think it's too close but at this point the buds were looking pretty good. Reduced cal-mag supplement.

Week 12 Flower 8 Pink Rozay This week was all about checking trichomes. Pink Rozay trichomes show mostly milk and amber. There are a few heads that are dark brown that indicate too late to harvest. The older pistils are turning orange brown and water consumption is slowing down. These and the trichome indicators indicate readiness. Based on this, I put Pink Rozay in the cool garage with low light and ice on top of the pot at night this week. I was out of town last week, not being able to update. During my vacation i left the garden in my sister's hands and the ladies got overfed because of a miscommunication. The girls have been flushed and will be flushed again tomorrow. followed by some waterings and will be harvesting around march 10 as long as the girls have enough amber thricomes. Aiming for 20 to 30% amber as i need my girls to help me sleep well. Shes cannibalizing herself allot through the last week and been picking of leaves that allow me to pull them off without too much force. Im finally getting ready for harvest

3 of the ladies are in flush will be cutting them down within the next or 2 & the other 2 probably have another month left! Fingers crossed for harvest!🤞🏼✌️🏼🌱

Ultimately I want to go full organic but time is life's richest commodity, so it will probably be a few seasons before I get their. Also I don't have a drying setup which is a problem for this next run which is in week-1 rn (I go week one staring veg in my calendar). For drying / curing, I'm looking at fitting out a second hand wine fridge as I cant spend heavy on the Cure Puck or any of those auto fridge setups. Who knows maybe they come down in price. 2024-05-15 No big thing to report, The Planties doing well, established in the new Pot- I placed them in the youngsters room, so they will get stronger light, and gettting more solid structure. BREEDER INFO Tangerine Snow F1 Fast Feminised is a 75% sativa, four-way cross of (Boost x Tangelo) with (Lavender x Power Plant). This Fast F1 hybrid is bred from Cali genetics and boasts great citrus terps, high resin production for extracts, high levels of THC, very good yields and excellent mould resistance. Tangerine Snow F1 Fast can be grown indoors as well as outdoors. Indoor flowering times are between 8 - 10 weeks while harvest time in northern latitudes is during September while in the southern hemisphere growers will be harvesting during March. Recommended climate regions are hot, dry, humid and warm. These are tall, semi-branched plants that grow in excess of 200cm and display a high degree of vigour with very good uniformity. In common with many other heavily sativa-dominant strains, Tangerine Snow F1 Fast offers excellent resistance to mould as well as to plant pests and diseases. The combination of citrus terps and plenty of resin makes thi a very good extract strain with the 'washing' method delivering very good yields of hash. The citrus terpene profile is reminiscent of mandarins and tangerines and also has sweet candy notes. THC production has been lab-verified at a strong 24% while CBD is low.
