Sep 21: fall is here with 12 h of darkness and red tinted sunlight both of which help with flowering. One problem with growing dope here is the UV light is weak this far North in the fall so for most people it’s better to just do autos outdoors and timing it so they ripen during the stronger summer sun and you’re done by the end of August. But if you want reliable big yields these fast flowering photoperiods are definitely the best choice. Sep 23: seems a bit off colour so I added some Alaska Fish Fertilizer for N. Always warming the water to about 26C these days to help keep the plant and soil bacteria warm and happy. Sep 25: this plant and Bruce both got blown over twice today. This is because the small 5 gallon bags aren’t big and heavy enough. The plants are fine. Oh well, the advantage is that I can move them around easily to maximize direct sun. Don’t take flash pics of your plants unless you’re going to immediately use a 730 nm far red light to put the plants into dark mode. It’s a great trick as a bloom booster and moves up finishing time here by a couple or three weeks. Sep 27: harvest will be tomorrow because of some bad weather moving in. Tomorrow will be okay but then rain and cold overnight and even snow forecast for late next week. C’est La vie.

Trichs seem to be further along then last grows, I can only assume the extra light and/or higher heat has cause them to finish a bit faster. Right now we are sitting on a majority of 70% cloudy, literally only a couple ambers through out. Wanting to harvest a little earlier this grow, hopefully day 59 or 60. Sooooo, 10-11 more days till chop. Day 51 Starting a flush, drained and filled with tap water, 2mL/L of flushing agent to help dissolve/bind salts. 3 hour cycle runtime with flushing agent. Drain/fill with high quality ROH2O, pH’d, H202 for disinfection.

We have made it to day 42! 31/12/20 All the girls have started flowering now! I'm super keen to see them start to thicken up. Feeding as usual, nothings changed. Update - day 46 04/01/21 I'm a little concerned about the 2 runts that were laggin behind the rest, all of a sudden theyve decided they want to take up most of the room in the tent. I've never grown autos so big.. I was contemplating putting the runts outside but it's just going to make more problems as my outdoors are under attack from some kind of bug. I will keep the diary updated on the runts, other than that the other girls are doing just great, flowering is really coming along. Thanks for stopping by!

Nice smoke good for day and nighttime use. Have not been able to weigh yet because I haven’t got any scales, but will try get some. I will update it after a bit of a cure. All in all a really good strain and I’m glad I’ve grown it. Very beginner friendly. Update: taste has improved a lot, tastes more tropical and fruity with hints of chocolate mixed in, very nice strain. Found one seed in there too but think that was my fault due to a lot of stress through the whole grow, still glad to have grown it

Been feeding all of my autos as per usual. Did a little more LSTing so some of those smaller nugs might fatten up. Hopefully I’m doing all this right and I can get a somewhat decent harvest for my first grow and considering my MARS Hydro1000 broke. Just wish me luck guys!!!! Happy growing family!!

Day 12 of organic grow and all is well. Seemed to have dialed in the conditions and able to keep good air movement, CO2 levels, and consistent temperatures/humidity with the ThruWall Closet Fan (Model TW108 ), and the Holmes Twin Exhaust/Intake Fan (Model HAWF-2041). Humidity is maintained with a Lovoit 6L Ultrasonic Programmable Cool Mist Humidifier (Model# LV600HH). Added a SCROG screen (just a cargo net) and bought the Sample Pack of organic nutrients from Nectar for the Gods (just pay shipping and they will send you the sample nutrients - check out the website). People say their line of nutrients make the buds smell and taste like no other! I have always been an organic Earth Juice nutrient guy, so I am going to experiment with combining the two. Lights are on 24/0 and she has tight internodal spacing with good vertical growth. Room that closet is in is beginning to smell skunky at times, and like diesel at other times. Day 27 of flower These trigger so damn fast, stacked so many bracts from day 21 to day... we’re not even to day 28 guys. These look like day 35 shit. What an absolute stonker. I cant believe how big she has got in just 2 weeks. So many colas and buds. The smell is so good and gettinng some nice colour. Still a long way to go, she is going to be a good one.

12.5.25: I watered with some more Trace again. She's feeding well and needs watering more often again. I upped the dose of Trace as I've noticed that there are some purple hues coming back on the stems. 13.5.25: I have removed all fabric ties on the plant. I think we have stopped stretching, so the sooner, the better. I keep getting my watering can caught in them all, and it was only a matter of time before I ended up snapping more branches off 😅 The fewer things in my way, the better 🤫 15.5.25: I watered today as the pot had dried out almost. The plant was watered with dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.5 with the following nutrients per 6.5 litres; ♡ 7ml Trace by Ecothrive ♡ 1/2 Tsp Sea K(elp) by Greenleaf nutrients The plants received the amounts below. HULKBERRY: 1l FASTBUDS: 2l NORTHERN LIGHTS: 3.5l I am not giving any further nitrogen at this stage. They had a couple of doses in the past week or so. I'm sure they don't need any more. So, I'm just using the kelp as it's packed full of goodness and high in potassium. I also suspect an excess of phosphorus. So I'm also leaving that out for the time being. There are still some red stems on the plants. added the Ecothrive trace for the last few waterings. I'm hoping it will resolve without any further intervention. 16.5.25: I watered Northern Lights with 3ltrs of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.4 with: ♡ 1/2 Tsp Sea K(elp) by Greenleaf nutrients ♡ 7ml Trace by Ecothrive Measurements per 6.5ltrs. PPM: 670 PH: 6.4 17.5.25: I watered again today with 2ltrs of the above PH'D to 6.2. Parameters remaining the same. The plant is increasingly thirsty, so the waterings have again needed to be increased. As we're reaching deep into flowering, this is par for the course. I'm mostly using coco, perlite worm castings. Etc. So it's very easy for my pots to dry out. I need to keep on top of it. As the pots dry out, the microbes are lost, and so keeping everything moist and healthy is imperative. That's why I add Ecothrive Biosys regularly to ensure I keep up with the microbial life in the soil biology. To avoid PH lockout. 18.5.25: I watered again, with the same parameters as yesterday. Our Permanent Marker from Zamnesia has responded very well to the application of the techniques, it has started the flowering phase very well and is preparing to prepare our gifts. ** Remember that we are growing a plant worked with the techniques indicated and another left to grow without pruning to preserve its speed; in the previous/next diary you will find the other plant of the same variety. Here we are talking about a very effective Main Lining, a bit difficult at the beginning but now very successful. Generally speaking, it is performed like this: first topping cut at the 2/3rd internode maximum, the plant is allowed to continue for another three internodes and then topping again.
