Started adding PK booster late into week 4. Ideal time to add PK is end of week 2 so the lack of early PK definitely hurt the density formation. These bad boys began to really stretch this and last week - really wish I had setup a SCROG for an even canopy. Oh well, you live and you learn. By the end of the week, the aroma on the plants began to smell really good like Sunny D.

Monster maker photoperiod feminised has been developing at a steady rate since I see the 2nd node more clearly ansnow 3rd node starting to appear so thought I would start of with verry light LST to begin shaping the structure

She is going strong into flowering, lots of leaves fading fast, defoliated the far gone leaves but trying to keep stress to a minimum. Loving the purple colors she is putting out.

Start of week 8 of flower. Very smelly now. Will be chopping on day 63 of flower, 115 days total from sprout. Be back in a couple weeks after dry and trim for weight totals and nug photos.

This might be the last week before chop... Most pistils are already orange. Not a lot of smell in the grow room, the green one smells like green apple candy, and the purple/red one like grape bubble gum. I've had many humidity problems lately, thankfully Dr Zymes has got my back keeping the PM and fungus at bay.

Day 29, giving structure to ghe little baby, trying to multiply branches and giving some attention to the topped one. Day 30 fertisilisation today. Next time just water. LST is still in the middle Day 32 31/10 dinner at 100% now and pushing hard with grow, just watering without fertilisation this time and lamp higher for 2 cm. Blue Dream Auto 1 15th Feb Mon - Placed blue dream auto seed into jar of ph balanced water,and then kept in dark airing cupboard for 24hours. 16 Feb Tue - Set up grow tent today. Placed seed into soil and cut a quarter of a plastic bottle top and placed over planted seed to create moisture dome. If seedling hasn’t popped after 3 days turn light on to give more energy. Will leave now and check up on it in the next 24 hours 17th Feb. 17th Feb Wed - Checked on seedling today. No sprout as of yet,19:35, everything seems fine soil is moist and in the dome is moist. If there is any issues it would be the temp is lower than I’d like. 18th/19th Feb Thur - Fri - Still no sprout on Thursday 18th. Checked soil and it still a bit wet all around, I think I’ve planted the seed a little too deep. Noticed a few gnats. On day 19th Friday, there is still no sprout so to give it a bit of help I have turned the light on today. Noticed quite a few more gnats so I will try to put some white vinegar and fairy liquid in a bowl to place in tent. Will update over the weekend. 20th Feb Sat - Finally!!! The seed has finally sprouted, I won’t water this morning but I will check later tonight. Need to keep soil around plant moist but the outer bits of soil I’ll leave dry due to Gnats. Will leave moisture dome on for a day longer until I see leaves form. Very happy! Also repositioned light so it is directly above plant 21st Feb Sun - She is looking good! A lot of growth from yesterday to day gave some more water this morning as she was looking a bit dry. I’m looking to take the dome off tonight as she has started to come out. I’ve turned lamp off for 4 hours to give some rest. One leaf is curling over a little but I’m not too sure why? Will monitor and keep updated. Any advice appreciated!!

Ginger Nut Cookies & Aussie Music Videos Week 16 Harvest 17 th April 2020 This Entire feminised seed making and growing project was a very good learning experience for me. Right from the very start, when I successfully got a Cutting ,taken from a Barneys Farm Red diesel female plant to produce feminised pollen after treating it with a silver thiosulfate solution. I then used it to pollinate a Fastbuds Girl scout cookies auto plant and let it grow to maturity. This only produced 3 viable seeds one of which is the subject of this Diary. I made up the name "Ginger nut cookies" after a variety of cookies we have here in Australia that are made with ginger. They are the same colour as the distinct red hairs on the red diesel buds. And would you believe those same vivid red hairs were passed on to this plant so I wasn't too far off the mark with the strain name. Her flavour however is nothing like red diesel or girl scout cookies and infact as taken on a smell and aroma all of it's own. She has a lovely tropical fruit like taste and the smell is a bit like fruit yoghurt. It has an unreal after taste on the exhale and the lingering second hand smoke smells very sweet and enticing. She has a pretty well balanced high too not as potent as the GSC nor as energenic as the red diesel but just a pleasant mix of the two. It was a very easy to grow and undemanding plant that didn't seem to require a lot of extra feeding other than the 100% organic nutrients that were within the soil and a few things like compost teas etc. The other element of this diary was of course the weekly Aussie music videos That I provided the links for and put up a little video clip preview of each Artists song.
