It was a week with a lot of activity. First of all, she had her first full week of flowering and did a bit of a stretch. Also I switched her to the left side of the tent, to space the plants more evenly. We are getting to a canopy, although one of her roommates probably is male and will be removed. More about this when I update my Xtrakushh Diary. Also had time to fit the scrognet. It fits way better than last grow, much tighter. We had some problems with the lighting. I probably hit my timer with one of my sausage fingers, making my lights turn on in the middle of the night, thank god I found it out in time. They maybe had an hour or two of light for one night. Still something she really doesn't need with this strains tendency to hermie under stress. She still looks happy. Did some gentle leaf tucking, some LST under the net, and a little defoliation. The branches might be short but they are very sturdy and should be able to carry large and heavy buds. And we had won the @Sweet_Seeds Halloween give-away and got to choose three of their legendary strains: Tropicanna Poison, Red Hot Cookies and Runtz XXL auto!! Thanks guys!!! 🌿 Permanent Marker — Final Report From Seed to Harvest, Numbers to Resin (Week 13 from Seed / End of Journey) ⸻ 🌟 A Closing Note Before We Begin This is the final chapter of the Permanent Marker diary. Two completely different expressions. • Pheno #1 – tall, expressive, stretching toward the light, dense and compact buds, strong color expression late in flower. • Pheno #2 – shorter, more compact plant structure, slightly fluffier buds, deep greens, elegant and balanced. Hey now, I hope everyone is having a great weekend, it was a good week for the ladies in the 5X5, they are all starting to stack flowers and really starting to distinguish their own smells. The Bubble Runtz has the most indica dominant looking colas and smells absolutely amazing. The Sundae Driver is looking like she is gonna have the fattest colas and be the biggest producer. I am really hoping I get the red phenotype of the Red Hot Cookies, and both the Green Crack and Durban Nights are showing the most Sativa characteristics and looking great. I now have the Medic Grow Light cranked up to 100% in F1 mode and am also using the UV/IR for 30 minutes per day prior to lights out. I am running a 12/12 cycle and feeding the same mix of GH nutrients which include Silica, CalMag, MaxiBloom, and Bloom Booster, with additional food grade Hydrogen Peroxide in the reservoir to keep algea growth to a minimum. I mix one 5 gallon bucket of nutes per day and clean my reservoir once per week. My pump is set to auto feed the plants every 5 hours after lights on, and I have a gravity self draining runoff setup I built. Not much to do from here on out, just keep the reservoir clean and full, a little defoliation, and 5 minutes per day to mix a bucket of nutes.I hope they get fat in the next few weeks and then I have about 7 people lined up to help me trim, I will throw everyone two zips for the help. hoping to do the wet trim in a day. Hey guys welcome back in week 13!! Almost there, this week i'll start building off nutrients so i can give them a proper flush next week. Buds are still getting fatter each day and starting to smell real strong, i do have a bit of nute burn due to a massive PK boost (PK 50-31) but i managed to find the right amount i needed to give them, this week i'll give them a milder PK booster. So im keeping a close eye on the ladys and her crystals to get a nice 80% milky and 20% amber trichomes mix. The NL X Haze clones are good to go so they need a little bit of patience, and when the time is right il put the left one of the picture in to flower, and the other one will me cut down for clones and prepare them for the outdoor season. The other clonse i got is an "Ebola Virus" strain... the name isnt that beautiful but i've seen the mother where she was cutted from is an absolute beauty, not sure but i think i'll prepare 2 also for the outdoor season and save 1 as a mom, but like i said not sure yet. Removed first set of leaves as those were not in use anymore completely covered from light.

Weekly update. Sorry it was a late update this week I was out of town (Bizcon2024). Wow have they grown, I'd say doubling in size. I've upped the watering to 1000ml daily, this week I'll do a major defoliation and lollipoping. All in all Happy Growing

Start of week 7, for the Super Lemon Haze, I'm repeating the week 6 feed cycle as she's going for at least one extra week 9, compared to only 8 weeks for the blueberries, before flushing. Last week was good, but the Super Lemon Haze continues to be a very hungry girl. She is very sticky and has a light lemon smell. The two blueberry plants continue to pack on weight and size, they have a very pungent smell and are starting to get sticky like the SLH.

4/10/2023 Week 1- Day 1 of Flower (Day 68 overall) So when I looked in the tent today the leaves were just above the Net. They hit my " I have to flip mark" so I did just that I flipped them today. I drained the system and filled it with Week 1 Day 1 Flower Nutes. The lights are set to turn off at 8:00pm EST and will turn back on tomorrow at 0800 EST and everyday for the rest of the Grow. To get my water change schedule back on track to Saturdays, since I had to flip tonight on a Tuesday, I will wait 1 week and 5 days instead of the typical 2 weeks for my first change out of the system, so not this Saturday coming up but the following Saturday. Deep in the middle and low under the canopy. I also did a little Super Cropping of any branches too far above the canopy. 4/15/2023 Week 1- Day 6 of Flower (Day 73 overall) Continued defoliation of the top bottom and front and some heavy defoliation of the backs of the plants today.. 4/16/2023 Week 1 - Day 7 of Flower (Day 74 overall) Did Some Heavy Defoliation of the stuff on the inside that isn't getting any light and I cut off anything that I found that seems weak and is still just not making it to the canopy. I also did some super Cropping of the branches as well SCROGing it down. start of week 4: i cut off the fanleaves to give the stems light. a day after that there is still water drooping out of the cuts like it doesnt heal ? weird. it has been a bit cold at night, the humidity also swings a lot but they grow, when the lights go out leaves curl up like they are freezing. the video here is when the lights have been on for 8hours already, when they in the dark they look dead lol

Es ist vorbei, jetzt wird geerntet. Zwei sehr unterschiedliche Phänotypen werden sehr bald im Vaporisator auf ihren Geschmack, Duft und Wirkung getestet werden. Auch wenn die kleinere der beiden Pflanzen vielleicht noch etwas länger hätte stehen können. Es war kein Platz mehr im Zelt und der oberste Bud der großen Runtz fing an zu verbrennen. Für ein SOG halte ich solch unterschiedliche Phänotypen nicht geeignet, anders sieht es allerdings mit Stecklingen von ihnen aus. Insgesamt unkomplizierte Pflanzen, nur die Thripsen bekam ich nie vollständig in den Griff. Dies war mein erster Indoor Grow und ich stelle fest, daß meine Grow Box nur Platz für eine Pflanze hat wenn es eine Schönheitskönigin werden soll. Immerhin habe ich es noch geschafft eine paar schöne Blattverfärbungen an der größeren Pflanze zu erreichen. Auf den Bildern kann man das wilde, ungestüme gut erkennen. Danke an Zamnesia, dass ich diesen Strain ausprobieren konnte! Ich habe ja noch ein paar Samen für weitere Grows. Vielen Dank auch an Plagron für den Blütendünger. Das solch dicke Blütenkolben möglich sind hätte ich vor diesem grow nicht geglaubt. Ich wünsche allen anderen Teilnehmern dieses Contests einen erfolgreichen Abschluss und eine gute Ernte! P.S. Wenn ich mir so in der Verößerung die Frostigkeit der Buds ansehe, wird mir etwas Bange... --- It's over, now it's time to harvest. Two very different phenotypes will soon be tested in the vaporizer for their taste, aroma and effect. Even if the smaller of the two plants could perhaps have stood a little longer. There was no more room in the tent and the top bud of the large Runtz started to burn. I don't think such different phenotypes are suitable for a SOG, but the situation is different with cuttings from them. All in all, uncomplicated plants, but I never got the thrips completely under control. This was my first indoor grow and I realize that my grow box only has room for one plant if it is to be a beauty queen. At least I managed to get some nice leaf coloration on the larger plant. You can see the wild, impetuous growth in the pictures. Thanks to Zamnesia for letting me try this strain! I still have a few seeds for further grows. Many thanks also to Plagron for the flower fertilizer. I would never have believed that such thick flower bulbs were possible before this grow. I wish all the other participants in this contest a successful conclusion and a good harvest! P.S. When I look at the frostiness of the buds as they grow, I get a bit scared...
