I turned the autopots on Monday and the plants are really thriving. They are growing super fast and the soil mix seems to be performing well. They have just had pH 6.4 water from the water reservoir. I have tied and bent them twice since Monday but they bouce back so fast. I have also turned in th airdomes , buried at the bottom of the pots this week, so let's see what they can do. Plenty of defoliation to expose lower branches , it always amazes me how quick the removed leaves are replaced by little tops. Day two flower more pictures added. Loads of defoliating this week and tied them all down again yesterday.

Soon, their beauty will be dressed in flowers, but for now, the leaf structure alone is worthy of the spotlight. ⸻ 🌡️ Current Conditions • Room Temp: 31°C • Humidity: 50.3% • VPD: 2.23 kPa • PPFD: 766 µmol/m²/s • Soil EC: ~2.0 • Soil Temp: 25.6°C Yes, the temperature is running hot — AC unit is on the way to lock it back into our ideal zone. ⸻ 💬 Heat in the Grow Room – Risks & Benefits Potential Risks: • Faster substrate drying = more frequent irrigation needed • Higher transpiration rates can stress plants if roots can’t keep up • Slightly increased risk of light stress at high PPFD without proper cooling • Possible reduced terpene retention if sustained into late flower Possible Benefits (short term in veg/pre-flower): • Accelerated metabolism — plants grow and stretch faster • Increased water/nutrient uptake (if well-fed and watered on time) • Can improve CO₂ usage efficiency if levels are high enough Bottom line: As long as they’re hydrated, fed, and ventilated, short bursts of high temp are manageable. But for flowering, we want to keep daytime temps closer to 24–28°C for optimal quality. ⸻ 💧 Watering Strategy We water when the soil dries to about 25% moisture remaining, this encourages: • Stronger root growth searching for water • Better oxygenation of the root zone • Less risk of root rot in warm temps Right now: They’re drinking daily due to the heat, so we’re feeding daily as well. ⸻ Current Feeding (per L of water) • Aptus Regulator – 0.15 ml • Aptus CalMag Boost – 0.25 ml • Aptus All-in-One Liquid – 1 ml • Aptus Top Booster – 0.25 ml With the increased drinking rate, nutrient uptake has increased — meaning no signs of deficiency, just steady lush green. ⸻ 🚀 Looking Ahead • AC installation will stabilize temps, allowing tighter VPD control • First signs of pistils should appear within the next 7–10 days • We’ll begin adjusting feed ratios for early bloom once flowers set • Light intensity will climb further as stretch continues ⸻ 💚 Closing Note: This week is all about momentum, heat or no heat, the Lava Cakes are pushing upward, prepping themselves for a heavy flower load. All going well, week 10 flower, thinking of harvesting next weekend, would be around day 73~, I'll keep an eye on them and see how they look, but I'm definitely bringing down the sour diesel and one or two others :)

Starting to see really nice bud development this week. The smell is really starting to increase now as well. Very little to do bar some defoliation this week. ✌️

05/30/2019 What a week she responded well to the 12 - 12 light cycle flip and is in BEAST mode , check out last weeks pic before the light change to 12 - 12 she is lower than the green cross brace in background after 1 week she's made great progress, this week start defoiliating and watching for real flowers to start building up.

Big Momma has finally been transplanted, this is the mother plant of our East Coast Punchers and you can safely assume that she is a house favourite! I (TOH) have claimed her as my own, I was more than happy when I found a pile of boards that could be made into a single plant bed. I love repurposing and reusing, as you can see C.C. put together a small square bed that is tall enough to keep the dog from watering her himself… The bottom of the bed started with a piece of cardboard (brings the worms) followed by a good amount of soil from previous fabric pots (gotta reuse), the worm castings along with the fish shit was added and the top half of the bed was Stepwell Super Soil. A good dusting of myco4 was added to inoculate the roots, the bottom of the infinity pot was removed and she was placed on top. We had quite a good rain last night with a bit of a gust so she was braced by bamboo before bed, she has dropped about 3 inches so more soil will be added to top her up. Now the fun can begin, I look forward to grooming her into shape and the therapy she is sure to provide will be priceless for me because a busy mind is best kept busy! 💚✌️

I like the structure of this plant it starting to look pretty healthy ima hook up the watering system soon and flip to flower soon aswell

Final week: temp 20 , lights 20 hours, Par 400 slacked them off to increase stress slightly and trichomes development, RH 37%, (recommend crystal poured on once I dropped it) flushed 12 days before harvest. Water ph 6.2 . Ppm 150, sugar daddy carbohydrates was used highly recommend the smell increased tremendously after I fed them a full dose of this stuff. Runoff ppm 250 ph 6.2, water temp was bit colder then usual also. Harvest , went with a full plant cut this time, for slower dry hopefully and easier lol. I simply rose my scrog and made sure heat and fans aren’t directly on my weed, and gun them upside down after trimming just the big fan leafs off. Temp is 20 and RH is 50% , lights are off. Trimmed and put in jars after 5 days and they were reading a humidity level of 72% so I will just burp the jars for couple hours daily until I achieve 60 ish percent. As for my first over all auto flower grow is was a challenge, I am definitely excited to try them again and hopefully have a little more bud development because I didn’t have the time to train these properly and the lower bud sites are rather light and I want dense this buds. I will really benefit from a PAR meter and co2 meter next grow that’s the last variables I need to perfect. . I hope y’all enjoyed this diary seeyou in a couple months. -Sir Dill

Hello. This is the end of week 4 and the beginning of week5 of flowering. Things are going good here in the greenhouse. Giving a little heavier P and K from now to flush. 3 of the 4 plants have a sweet citrus/hash smell to them. Delicious. I've made up some paper bags to catch some of the Kosher Haze pollen from the preflowers.to put on a couple of the Lemnesia branches for seeds. I've read that the bags they use at the grocery store for the french bread that has that cellophane strip so you can see in, works very well. I also chose some clones that I'll put in the smaller greenhouse for seed making. I chose a Pink Kush and a Nova OG to receive some male Kosher Haze pollen. I'll make some room in the smaller greenhouse where I've got the cactus now. I'll try to have the male higher than the females so the pollen drops and I don't have to have the fan up too high because I don't want any pollen to escape to pollenate other people's plants. But a little will escape out the roof vents with a big wind gust.😏 Speaking of the little greenhouse, I was putting up shade cloth and the paper wasps, that I allow to live in there because they are so helpful in the garden, were very courious about it and landing on it and then circling around. I was on the 3rd rung of the step ladder and 1 landed on my left temple and I swatted at the area while stepping back off the ladder. The aluminum door frame was just under my arm and it raked it as I stepped back and away. I looked at my arm and was very surprised to see a big piece of skin not there and blood coming out. About 1 1/2 inches long and about 1/2inch wide. I felt the top of the door and it was sharp enough to do that. I went and put a big bandage on and finished up with the shade cloth and then went to the hospital and got 6 stiches. I was in and out in 2 1/2 hours which I think was really good for 10 pm on a Saturday night. Ouch!!! We are still on book 4 of the Fat Freddie's Cat series of books and I'll go on to show the FFFB books after that. (Fabulously Furry Freak Brothers.) Harvest in the middle of Aug. just so you know. Day 21 of flowerig going great. Gelato strain was too much bushy, so we had to defoliate it. Now all the works are done, only have to wait buds to get fat 😁.
