8/26 - sporty looking great, praying hard! Posh is working on it. But look who finally showed up to the party! I’m calling her Baby spice. She sprouted 12 days after going in the soil. Way to be a fighter girl! This is going to be a tricky thing to manage I feel like my gals are tracking a week apart. I’ll keep this journal’s timeline on sporty spice. -1 week for posh and -2 weeks for baby spice. spice girls let’s grooooow! 8/30 - exactly two weeks from sprout for Sporty and Posh. Pretty wild how big a difference there is between the two. Baby is getting her footing. Now. Sporty already pushing 4-5 nodes and I saw a tiny root through the drain hole. Wanted to pot her up! About 8 cups pro mix, one cup perlite. About 1.5 tbs of Gaia green 4-4-4, some worm castings and sprinkled mycorrhiza around where the rootball would be. God speed girly! 9/3. Potted up Posh today. About a half gallon pro mix, plus about 1.5 tbsp of the Gaia green 4-4-4. Plus about a cup of worm castings, perlite, and mycorrhiza. Sporty is looking very happy, 5 nodes and counting. Added back my second light, let’s go girls!!! 9/5. Wrapping up week 2 here, so far I’ve been really impressed with the pro mix Gaia green and soil support so far. The girls seem happy and healthy. Day 46, 30th of October 2020: Crazy... I went on holiday only for 6 days so my friend looked after them.... Guys... They fucking grew 20 cm it is crazy look at them I had to do LST and now giving them darkness one day and switch the lamp to 12/12.... They went totally crazy.... The smell is coming as well I bought extraction fan system with filter as well.... It is not a question all good and everything will continue the same way well from next week pump a lot of nutrition ;) Cheers!

What can I say this was my largest single yield harvest to date - The BlackBerry OG from Emerald Triangle Seeds are worth growing and just be prepared to have a load of bud to trim, there are other strains that are east to trim than this one, it was laced with sugar leaves and took a while to trim up,, it was in the dry tent for 15 days, honestly I was worried and should have trusted my instinct and left it in longer, this may have made it easier to clean.. If you do not buy this stran and give it a try you are missing out!

I've moved lights towards them, so now the lights are 15 cm above them. I've moved a fan a little bit higher, so the wind is not too strong for them now. Hope she will be well now.

Beginning of week.. She doesn't have many pistils turning.. Some tho.. This is going to be a long flowering strain.. Not many milky trichomes yet either.. She is very stinky lol.. Hope she is ready for a flushing soon! Mid week.. Still just doin her thing.. Pistils still slowly turning.. Still smells like piss lol till you rub the trichomes.. Then you smell the sweet piney dankness.. Not a bad strain.. Just a long flowering period.. Can't complain lol. I'm ready to start flushing.. But she's not.. Maybe I could just start flushing and flush her for a good 3 or 4.. Or however many weeks it takes till she's ready.. I've flushed a plant for a good 4 or 5 weeks before.. Leaves looked like shit but the bud was still great.. That was the Zkittlez Glue actually since I counted the flowering weeks wrong.. Hmm.. Nah I'm gonna wait another week before I even think about flushing. I am seeing some milky/cloudy trichomes.. Even a very few amber starting.. You can tell they aren't even full on amber cuz of how light they still are.. But i dis find a few beginning to amber.. So yeah.. Maybe 1 more week of nutes, then start flushing. End of week... Still waiting to see some trichomes turning lol.. Pistils are turning for sure.. Trichomes.. Not so much yet.. Seeing some light burn issues on a couple leaves.. But that's not stopping her one bit! She is still a very happy girl! Thickening up a little on top.. Bottom.. Not so much yet either lol.. Still happy with her.. On to the next!!!...

Week three, seedlings were not as root bounded as I though but still time to transplant. I am transplanting them all into 1gal rapidstacks. Into week three of flowering: - Need to up CalMg this week cause all my last grows with this strain the plants were stressing and showing signs of Mg deficiency I think. - The buds are stacking up pretty tight. - The top of the plant is showing some red veins AGAIN, don't know if it is genetics? Or is it too much light? ANY SUGGESTIONS? - Usually what happens is that after week three top of plant will show red veins and some leaves will turn light green yellow. What type of deficiency is this? Thanks in advance for the help. Happy growing, BM 4TwenTee *****Update on LIGHT STRESS:***** Okay I think I got this figured out. Since my plant is showing the following symptoms: - Slow yellowing of top of cannopy - Fan leaves pointing up in a steep angle - Leaves are tacoing up a bit with sharp pointy serrated leaves pointing up - Veins are turning purple and some leaves are showing green veins and yellowing of outer part of the leaf REASONS FOR THE SYMPTOMS: - Since the light is too close to the top of the canopy, although my light is running at around 60% and it is at least a meter away from the light. I think because this was a mother and basically she is accustomed to top canopy PAR of around 180-220 and she was measuring around 600PAR so that is just too much for the plant to handle. So I've lowered the light output so the top canopy is around 420 PAR. - Also my humidity is pretty high at around 72% so I lowered it to around 65% - The reason why the leaves are tacoing up to the light is because the canopy cannot take the high PAR, the temp at the top of the canopy is only 76F so that is acceptable, but the plant is trying the sweat due to the high PAR, but because the humidity was also too high it was not sweating as much as it should. - The reason why a light stressed plant shows different deficiencies eg. magnesium and phosphate is due to the "extra sweating" that takes place, cannabis plants don't choose what they intake, if they need more water to sweat, extra nutrients will be absorbed and this will lockout some of the other nutrients in the solution. **End of week update: Tried multiple changes but still no luck on getting rid of red leaf stem. - Added a 1 hour sunrise and sundown light regiment - Decreased Humidity to 65% from low 70's - Top of canopy PAR decreased from 600 to 350. Leaves red stems still not going away and top of canopy still trying to get rid of moisture with fan leaves pointing up. If anyone can chime in that would be great thanks.

Week 5 - This strain remains a mystery not to sure if my CalMag was too low or the temp was getting to cold ! Temps were in between 60-70 this week. Other seem sensitive to nutes while others lack nutrients. I have no idea what the trifecta plant is doing at this point seems to be all over the place. I watered each plant with .5ml CalMag to half gallon. I’ll see how they respond and update next week.

Day 29. No problems as far as I can see. Started doing daily feeds from day 20, figuring I'll keep consistent track of the runoff PPM, and it is right now at 330, which is the highest reading so far (too high?). Inflow has been steady at 420-460 PPM for a while, and will continue until flower. Last weeks topping turned out to be a FIM, and I now have 8 new tops.. "fuck I missed" indeed

The harvest was super sticky. I mean fr it was frustrating but we got though it lol. It’s took a week to harvest all the plants with some help too. They all started drying at the same time but each one got cut at different days. Overall they all stink to high hell. I mean super stinky like damn what is that funk at stink. Lol they taste just as they smell and curing will only make them better. I also found some nanners on one of my plants smh ONLY DOWN SIDE

Sep 27: lots of buds remaining and I did a big defoliation to expose the buds to sunlight. Lowered scrog net during the defoliation. Oct 1: the remaining lower buds are almost ready to harvest. Likely this weekend. Oct 3: harvesting for buds and mostly for extracts. Today was 1520 g wet buds and leaf. Toal wet of 2870 g which is equivalent to about 640 g dried. Nice.
