Another week in the books. They are getting close to harvest and I switched them to plain pH adjusted water. Another 1-2 weeks.

This was a good week to learn a few things about what I want to do for the next grow. This grow, I let the ladies grow to 5 nodes before topping to the third - next grow, I would top to the third when the 4th is clearly visible. I am about 1 week behind schedule, waiting for the nodes on the mainline to grow so they can be topped again. Going to top them into 8 main cola’s. Reduced water in the buckets to 7l so that the roots have to work a little harder because Cheech was showing signs of being over-watered. Lights remained at 60cm about the plants, 1ml of all nutrients per litre of water.

Hello. This is the end of week 7 and the beginning of week 8 of flowering. This is the last week of food for these beautiful girls. I'll be flushing for the last 2 weeks. I find flushing makes the smoke taste less harsh. And curing in paper bags makes the pot taste great. More on that later... You can tell some of the plants are getting near the end of their lives, they are getting more yellow fan leaves, from the plant drawing back nutrients from them. I can see the clones are pollenated and I should have lots of seeds to share ... Want some free seeds? Just do a diary on them and I'll send you some. I'm 4 days into flower. Topped all the plants nice and even. Then removed all bud sites below the top 4 on each branch. Leaving fan leaves intact. I allowed them to recover for 2 days. Then flipped the lights. Saskatoon Berry is stacking nodes very closely. I'm thinking these will be nice big colas.

11.29- the 4x4 went up yesterday with a brew new LED. all plants are happy since overnight, watered this morning. Older GDP id's showing me purple hues on sugar leaves, along with cannibalizing its lower fan leaves. The diary GDP is doing great as well, we are in the 5th week of flower, could not be happier. May brew a P K tea for the 5gal just to get it to end of flower, but no more dry nutes to either plant. The main diary plant is packing on weight, continuing to move leaves off of bud sites and tucking them under. All in all things are good, temp is very dropped in the tent (68f-74f) and RH is steady 35%-45%. More pictures to come as I will be going to the garage often to monitor environment. Quite cold in that tent at night, hovering around 61f. Minor defoliation performed 12.1 to remove some sickly leaves and provide light to lower canopy. Trichomes are appearing everywhere also. Time to stop thinking I'm doing something wrong and enjoy what this plant is providing. Next watering will help the plant get to the finish line for sure. *3gal not tracked on diary stats, but harvesting 12.7-12.9 on the full moon. Trichome check shows 50/50 clear to milky. Darkness will ensue 3-4 days before chop...i will also only be giving one more watering to the 3 gal of un PH'd water. Water for both again 12.3. Gave the 3 gal 1/2gal bottom watering but pot is still light. End is near, 3gal harvest officially on 12.8 in the AM. Gave the 5 gal some banana juice for P K, maybe this will help the obvious nutrient deficiencies this early yet in flower. Going to let this plant ride past the 8th week of flower to ensure its reached it's full potential. It's covered in trichomes though already and pulling from its leaves. Filling in nicely from last trimming. End of week 1 on flower. Probably as bush like I am going to get this one. Completely satisfied with results so far. Pretty easy grower.

She has been in the greenhouse OUTSIDE for about 10 days now. I do have supplement lighting and air circulation in there. Running 2 450 watt advertised full spectrum tripple led cobs with an 120 watt true draw per unit. So 240 watts from the plug in the green house. I run them as supplemental on cloudy days and an hour or 2 before complete sunset. I have began flushing towards the end of this week. She was fed 1/4 strength nutes DAILY up to this point. Now only TPS signal and molasses to flush her with. I plan for a 10-14 day flush. The last 4-5 days i will drop the molasses and run straight TPS signal and ph tap water. I am now begining to see the swell towards the end of this week....i am happy about that! I hope those calyxes get nice and fat during this flushing. So far so good.....she has taken to the green house well!

It has been a great week of growth and no further accidental toppings - first pistils beginning to show at the end of the week. Tops are looking good, forming shape across the net. Stretched branches are being tucked under one square across every 3-4 days. The net is filling up nicely, with some limited pruning below the canopy of both leaves and growth stems. I'm trying to avoid any defoliation on this grow. Fertigating with an inflow EC of >1.4 seems to be moving the run-off EC higher - will maintain higher inflow EC until run-off is within acceptable range. Run-off EC Should be within 300 Points of Inflow EC. Run-off EC still remains below target although now increasing to where it should be. Tracking run-off volume/EC/pH at every fertigation event as I manage the feed EC to monitor what the plant is doing/feeding. Fertigation is maintained now to once a day (at lights on) to maintain the target EC. Man, it's been a crazy week. These past few days have been brutal – seriously cold with this crazy humidity. I don't know about you, but I'm sick of the chills and the way my skin feels all sticky. It's been a struggle, but I'm finally getting on top of things. I think I've figured out a good routine to dry things out around here, so hopefully, I'll be feeling a lot more comfortable soon. It's been interesting watching these permanent marker plants grow. One of them is still kinda lagging behind, but I think I've got the other one figured out. It's stacked so perfectly, and it's starting to look super sparkly, almost like it's got little crystals on it. I'm curious to see if the other plant will catch up.
