Week 6 Veg Report – Runtz We Meet Again! Another week, another step forward in our Eternity Grow Cup 2025 journey, and oh boy, do we have a lot to unpack! These Runtz girls are showing their potential, and we’re dialing in every little detail to ensure they thrive. Let’s dive deep into everything that happened this week! Cal-Mag Deficiency Adjustment – Pheno #5’s Special Needs This week started with a close inspection of our phenos, and we noticed that Pheno #5 was showing early signs of a calcium/magnesium deficiency. Whether it was slightly off VPD levels or this particular plant being more demanding, we decided to correct it by increasing the dose of RO Water Conditioner. Now, while this isn’t a direct substitute for Cal-Mag, it does contain trace amounts that can help stabilize the situation. 🔬 Understanding Cal-Mag Deficiency: Calcium and magnesium are essential secondary nutrients. Calcium strengthens cell walls, preventing issues like tip burn and weak stems, while magnesium plays a critical role in chlorophyll production, allowing plants to efficiently absorb light energy. 💡 Signs of Deficiency: • Yellowing between veins (Magnesium) • Rust spots on leaves (Calcium) • Slow growth and weak stems ⚡ How We Address It: • Slightly increasing RO Water Conditioner to see if trace minerals help • Keeping an eye on overall nutrient uptake to ensure no lockout • Monitoring VPD (Vapor Pressure Deficit) closely to optimize nutrient absorption Let’s see how she reacts next week! Branching Development – Pheno #2 Leading the Race All five phenos are thriving, but Pheno #2 is showing the most aggressive branching, pushing outward faster than her sisters. However, overall, we’re seeing very uniform growth, which speaks volumes about the stability of these genetics. 🌱 What is Branching & Why It Matters? Branching is the plant’s way of expanding its canopy, increasing surface area for photosynthesis, and maximizing potential bud sites. Well-structured branches allow better airflow, light penetration, and more even growth—key for a successful high-yield harvest. ⚖️ Topping vs. Leaf Bending – The Training Choice Instead of topping, I’ve decided to go with leaf bending for now. This method allows for gentle manipulation of the plant’s growth without causing major stress. Once we introduce the SCROG (Screen of Green) net, this training will help maximize the canopy spread. Moving to the TrolMaster Ecosystem – A Game Changer Big move this week—our Runtz girls officially transitioned into the TrolMaster Ecosystem, and let me tell you, they are absolutely loving it! 11/22 Day 31 from flip. Today is the first day that I took a tape measure from the lights to the topmost part of the canopy and I haven’t seen a change. I’ll check again tomorrow but I’m really hoping the stretch is finally done. I still have about 10 inches of space between the lights and canopy so I think I’ll be ok with that. I took the chance to do what is hopefully a near final defoliation of a few leaves and some smaller sucker branches that won’t amount to much. Everything still looks super healthy, no red anywhere on any stems and no discoloration on the leaves. Everything is spot on. Light adjusted to 840 PAR / 36.3 DLI. 11/25 Day 34 from flip. I made some adjustments to my nute mix to be more firmly at 1.3 EC, which means I’ve added some additional nutes into the mix. I also tested runoff EC and discovered things were spiking a bit more than I’d like. So I mixed up a few batches of my new mix and I’ve been feeding every few hours to flush things out a little bit. I’ve brought it down from 1.9 to 1.5 so far after this. I may finally need to break down and set up some timers to feed multiple times throughout the day. Obviously once a day is not getting done right now. 11/26 Day 35 from flip. I finally got the timer hooked up to my pump to begin automatic watering. For now, I have it set to water at noon for a minute when the lights come on, a 2 minute pause to let that settle, and then 30 seconds more to make sure both are fully saturated. The second fertigation event will be at 6:00 for 45 seconds, and then right before lights off another 45 seconds. I’ll have to keep an eye on it to see if I need to adjust any more for now. I haven’t adjusted the lights since last time, but the latest reading is 885 PAR / 38.2 DLI at the highest point of the canopy. It’ll stay there for now.

Этот цикл принёс мне опыт выращивания автоцвета в ограниченном пространстве, с использованием бокового и верхнего досветов(здесь для меня еще остаётся неограниченное поле экспериментов😎) Если подвести итог, то можно сказать, что данная техника выращивания частично себя оправдала, и конечно, в будущем я постараюсь учесть все допущенные ошибки. Надеюсь мой репорт получился интересным. Hello world, 🇬🇷 the previous week had a lot of growth for the ladies...meanwhile Michelle has been switched to 12/12...the switch was made 9 days ago and she is showing her first pistils...this diary however will follow Angie and Lucy who are growing outdoors and will be in vegetative stage for a lot more weeks...So, let's begin this new week... ===================================== WEEK 8:"DON'T FEAR THE NIGHT" ☠️Day 50...I stand and stare at Michelle trying to see those tiny first pistils...It is still windy so I have to move them around all day...I have a safe spot but its not sunny...Angie and Lucy are OK,still getting taller...this week I will be using Enhancer again as well...I have a small fear every time I use it because of the ph issue...what I have to admit is that Green House Feeding until now has been perfect...I have been giving only water and some top dressing of it and I don't have any deficiencies till now...the plants are vigorous with a very healthy green colour... ☠️Day 51💧today I watered with 3 L each...they drink like beasts...I top dressed Michelle with Bio Bloom from GHF...eat my girl,eat...I have already put Bio Bloom when transplanted but a little more will not harm her... ☠️Day 53...💧I thought giving them 3 L of water would keep the coco wet for long,but they drink like beasts...had to water again today... ☠️Day 54...Michelle is having a tough time for 12 hours in the closet...I can feel the heat and the CO2 when opening it in the morning...however she looks fine and flowering... ☠️Day 55...💧watered again...the outdoor girs will not be on time for the contest and that makes me nervous...I hope they extend the deadline for all of us who grow outdoors...and those who got the seeds late...please GHSC...give us some time😄 🌸🌸Today Michelle is completing the second week since the light flip...she is growing pistils everywhere and I love watching her...
