At this point of the process, you just sit there and observe how the plant gets fatter and fatter. The only thing you have to do is give her food, take care of her and that's it. Harvest is coming Sólo queda mirar, alimentarla y cuidarla básicamente. Los cogollos sólo se dedican a crecer.

The stretch has definitely begun. No issues whatsoever. I turned the lights up to 250W and bumped the PPM to 950. Thinking about adding another LED to tent - these things are going to be out of control! The GSC in the 64L res is almost exactly on the same schedule as the 1L, which is 5 days older. the 1L is obviously in the lead in terms of size, but the 64L isn't far behind. I honestly think they'll both end up being almost identical...

Week 7 – Substrate Saturation & Major Recovery Flush This week was noticeably tougher than the previous ones. After showing strong development for several days, the plant suddenly slowed down and displayed clear signs of stress: halted growth, reduced leaf vigor, and poor nutrient absorption. A quick diagnosis revealed the cause: an excessively high EC in the substrate, leading to a severe root lockout. ⚠️ Despite the difficult situation, the corrective intervention was heavy, precise, and absolutely necessary. ⸻ 🌧️ Major Blockage – Excessive EC in the Root Zone The symptoms matched a classic salt buildup: • stalled vertical and lateral growth • leaves showing tension and mild droop • delayed response to watering • slightly uneven color The conclusion was straightforward: 👉 The root zone was overloaded with mineral salts, preventing the plant from taking up nutrients and even basic moisture. Without a fast and well-executed flush, things could have worsened quickly. ⸻ 💧 Intensive Flush — 18 Liters at pH 6.2 (No Nutrients) To restore balance, you performed a deep, controlled flush: • 18 liters of water • pH calibrated to 6.2 • no nutrients added This reset allowed you to: ✔️ remove a significant portion of the salt buildup ✔️ rehydrate and oxygenate the substrate ✔️ restore proper root metabolism ✔️ rebalance the soil’s pH The final readings after the flush were excellent: • Runoff PPM brought down to 900 • Substrate pH stabilized at 6.5 These values are completely safe and give the plant a clean base to recover from the lockout. ⸻ 🔄 Plant Response — Still Weak, but Improving Although the plant hasn’t fully bounced back yet: • leaf posture is slowly improving • color is becoming more uniform • the root zone is breathing again • growth should restart within the next 48–72 hours A slight delay after such a heavy flush is normal and expected. The priority now is letting the plant recover at its own pace. ⸻ Nutrients — Mandatory Pause After such a deep reset: • no nutrients were given • the substrate must stabilize before feeding resumes • the plant needs time to re-open nutrient pathways Overfeeding too early could recreate the same EC issue. Patience is key. ⸻ 🌬️ Environment & Structure Despite the setback: • the structure remains solid • the LST framework is still intact • environmental conditions stayed stable • no pests or diseases are present The problem was strictly chemical (EC-related), not environmental. ⸻ 🌸 Next Step — Wait for Clear Signs of Recovery Before training, shaping, or switching to 12/12: 👉 wait for visible new growth and fully opened leaves. Once you see fresh, healthy movement, you can gently reintroduce nutrients at reduced strength. Only then should you consider whether to extend veg or plan the flowering transition. ⸻ 🔥 Conclusion — A Difficult Week, But a Clean Save Week 7 brought a serious challenge: a heavy nutrient lockout caused by excessive EC. However, your response was fast, precise, and completely on point. The 18 L flush at pH 6.2 successfully: • cleared the excess salts • stabilized the substrate • restored a safe pH of 6.5 • brought the EC back to manageable levels The plant is now on the path to recovery, and the worst has been avoided. Next week should show clear progress.

HST done at the end of the week, did cut some fan leaves and some topping and defoliation, 1 more week before sending them to flowering.

🌸 Flowering Week 1 — first week after flip! Both girls officially entered bloom and are starting to show early pistils. The stretch already kicked in and the canopy is filling up nicely under the Spider Farmer G3000 💡. This week I noticed the first signs of powdery mildew (PM) 😬 — just a few small white spots on lower leaves and shaded areas. Immediately dropped RH and started preparing to treat it next week with Hydrogen Peroxide 3% (H₂O₂) foliar spray. Feed mix (per L): • Corex 1 ml/L • Terra 0.4 ml/L • CalMag 1 ml/L • Mira 0.2–0.5 ml/L (pH adjust) • Bud Candy 2 ml/L • Terpinator 5 ml/gal (~1.3 ml/L) • Florex 0.5 ml/L • Aurora 0.5 ml/L 💧 Watering around 15L per plant with 10–20% runoff. PPM ~1350–1450 @ pH 6.0. Plants are still praying strong, no major stress visible 🌿. 🌡️ Environment: 26–29 °C (day) / 23 °C (night) 💧 RH: 50–55% 📝 Observation: PM just appeared this week — I’ll continue with Hydrogen Peroxide 3% foliar spray in Week 2 to kill and control it. The week starts Monday Jan-27, being day 27 of flowering. Plants are looking very good and healthy, albeit some bigger buds at this stage is missing. Carried out more defoliation of upper leaves on the CBD. Only trimming fan leaves on one side of a bud site in alternate fashion. Strategy is to expose more bud sites to light. Leaves are getting sticky and glistening brightly. Feeding a high EC nutrient mix whilst monitoring run-off EC which remains below feed EC. The canopy is still thick with beautiful luscious green leaves typical of an Indica. Light is maintained at 30cm above the canopy, with daily fertigation at lights on - watering just over 2L per day. Maintaining an average RH in the space at 50%. ---- updates for prior 4 weeks -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The week starts Monday, Jan-20 still flowering away. Bud sites are beginning to take form and the ScrOG setup looks full, ready for the development of some large buds. Removed a few more leaves from above the canopy which were blocking bud sites below. Also cut small stems (with bud sites) below the canopy from both plants which were unlikely to grow strong. It's now looking clearer below the canopy. The canopy is still thick with beautiful luscious green leaves typical of an Indica. Run-off EC has been slowly rising over the weeks but still under the feed EC - will be keeping my eyes on this. Light is maintained at 30cm distance from canopy, with daily fertigation at lights on - watering almost 2.5L per day. Maintaining an average RH in the space at 50%. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The week starts Monday, Jan-13 in flowering stage. The plant is growing thick and fast, with very short node intervals creating a thick canopy. Carried out substantial defoliation of almost all the big fan leaves and a few little stems that were not likely to make it above the canopy. Avoided defoliating the major cola branches. This encourages the plant not to waste resources on a node which is only going to produce “popcorn” buds. The plants reacted well to the defoliation and were looking good by the end of the light cycle for the day. The net is completely full and this will be the last week of applying any LST as part of the ScrOG setup. Light is maintained at 30cm distance from canopy, with daily fertigation at lights on - watering almost 2.5L per day. Lowered the average RH in the space to 50%. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The week starts Monday, Jan-06 in flowering stage. The net is filling up nicely with the ScrOG process being enjoyable - just tucking branches nicely under squares once stretched enough. The Indica dominant strain is really shining with incredible dense growth and thick branches that don't bend as easily as it's Sativa neighbour. Passive intake of air is from a closed off section of the room where the central heating boiler sits - the intake is warm air (20 degC.) and fairly dry (40% RH) during the winter months. - Mars Hydro SP250 LED light - extraction fan - AC Infinity Cloudline T6 - ventilation fans - aquarium heater - small oil heater - small dehumidifier - 20L Airpots and 3.5L general pots for seedling stage - Canna Coco substrate and nutrients - pH and EC/TDS meters - Thermo/Hygro meter

Well it is time to see what all my work will produce dry. 10 days in dry room then into the mason jars with a vivi cure can't wait. This grow I changed a lot from my water source from fox Alaska natural water to RO. Man was this a challenge. Not a single person I watched said anything about how unstable it is. To some research and problem solving to figure out how to stabilize it. Well if your wondering I added air to my AC infinity self wicking basin and set a timer to run 5 minutes on and 10 minutes off. I also went constant feed after week three. Will need to do some adjustments but it seems to be viable. More to come. See you next post

Die Temperaturen sind seit einigen Tagen sehr niedrig, was ich versuche, möglichst zu regeln, indem ich den Lüfter bis auf 10 % gedimmt habe Und eine Heizmatte im Zelt habe. Tagsüber hält sich die Temperatur relativ gut bei 18-20° nachts fällt sie auf 16° wenn das Licht aus ist. Die Pflanzen wurden entlaubt und beschnitten. Sie entwickeln sich toll und werden langsam schön purple ❤️

My 2 permanent marker plants they are loving the light being turned up they are praying constantly there internodes are so close together they have not stretched out very far yet. I'm thinking they are going to be on the short end but who knows some plants do complete opposite when they hit the flower strech. I still have not gotten the nutrients down for the one plant I'm thinking when I flip to flower it will it will turn around nicely I love the shaoe and look of it's leaves. The day has come and it's time to flip these ladies to flower. I was planning on letting them go untill Friday and let the smaller ones grow just a bit more but they will be fine. I have the eternity cup contest in mind and I'm thinking timing so I need to get these lady done and out my tent lol. This past week I turned the light up alot getting them ready to flower they have grown a bunch inhavendone lst maybe 5 it 6 times on the branchs and they arw nit bendy anymore that will help durring flower.

. 🌱 Tag 21 – Eine Woche voller Experimente Drei Wochen alt. Eigentlich der Zeitpunkt, an dem junge Pflanzen einfach gemütlich wachsen, Wurzeln bilden und jeden Tag ein bisschen größer werden. In unserem Fall wurde daraus allerdings eine kleine Wissenschaftsshow mit mehreren unerwarteten Wendungen. Die Woche begann mit unserer ersten Düngung. Für uns war das Neuland und für unseren Gärtner offenbar auch. Nach vielen Jahren mit organischem Dünger musste er erst lernen, dass mineralische Nährstoffe nicht erst gemütlich auf ihre Freigabe warten, sondern sofort verfügbar sind. Das führte dazu, dass wir etwas früher gefüttert wurden, als es eigentlich nötig gewesen wäre. Zusätzlich gab es noch ein paar weitere Überraschungen: Der pH-Wert lief zeitweise nicht ganz wie geplant. 📦 Statt pH- wurde versehentlich pH+ geliefert. 🔄 Bei der ersten Nährstoffmischung wurden Grow A und Bloom A vertauscht. 🌱 Die Düngung begann etwas früher als optimal. Man könnte sagen, unser Gärtner hat diese Woche sehr viel gelernt. Wir Pflanzen nennen das lieber „praktische Feldforschung“. Zum Glück blieb es bei kleineren Problemen. Zwar waren wir zwischenzeitlich nicht immer ganz begeistert von den Mischungen im Tank, aber insgesamt konnten wir weiter wachsen und neue Blätter bilden. Wirklich dramatisch wurde es nie. Unser Wassertank lief die ganze Woche durchgehend. Da er allerdings mehrfach neu angesetzt wurde, weiß inzwischen niemand mehr so genau, wie viel Wasser wir tatsächlich verbraucht haben. Die Buchhaltung wurde wohl von einer Zimmerpflanze geführt. Folgende Nährstoffe kamen diese Woche zum Einsatz: Bittersalz: 0,5 g/L 🌿 Grow A + B ? Silica ⚡ Multi Total Für die nächste Mischung wird das Bittersalz bereits auf 0,3 g/L reduziert. Wieder etwas dazugelernt. Nicht ganz ohne Zwischenfälle verlief die Woche für Pflanze #2. Bei einer kleinen Pflegeaktion wurde einer ihrer Triebe versehentlich angeknackst. Für einen kurzen Moment sah es so aus, als hätte sie beschlossen, den Dienst zu quittieren. Zum Glück stellte sich der Schaden als weniger schlimm heraus als zunächst befürchtet. Der Trieb blieb erhalten und kämpft sich weiter durch. Pflanzen sind manchmal erstaunlich widerstandsfähig. Während Menschen bei kleinen Verletzungen häufig erst einmal das Internet nach ihren Symptomen durchsuchen, reparieren wir einfach unser Gewebe und wachsen weiter. Trotz aller kleinen Stolpersteine wachsen wir weiterhin ordentlich weiter. Unsere Blätter werden größer, unsere Stämme kräftiger und unter der Erde arbeiten die Wurzeln vermutlich längst an ihrem eigenen Ausbauprojekt. Im Vergleich zur letzten Woche sehen wir inzwischen deutlich erwachsener aus. Noch sind wir jung, aber langsam entwickeln wir uns zu richtigen Pflanzen und nicht mehr nur zu besonders ehrgeizigen Keimlingen. Nächste Woche hoffen wir auf etwas weniger Experimente im Nährstofftank und etwas mehr Routine. Andererseits wäre das Leben als Pflanze vielleicht auch langweilig, wenn immer alles perfekt laufen würde. 🌿 👨‍🌾 Gärtner: Diese Woche lief nicht alles nach Plan, aber dafür habe ich wahrscheinlich mehr gelernt als in den ersten beiden Wochen zusammen. Der größte Unterschied zu meinen bisherigen Grows war der Wechsel von organischem auf mineralischen Dünger. Beim nächsten Durchgang werde ich deutlich später mit der Düngung beginnen, vermutlich erst Ende Woche 3. Die größte Erkenntnis war, wie schnell mineralische Nährstoffe wirken und wie wichtig ein sauber eingestellter pH-Wert ist. Mit organischem Dünger hatte ich viele dieser Effekte nie direkt bemerkt, weil die Nährstoffe deutlich langsamer verfügbar werden. Zusätzlich sorgte eine falsche Lieferung für etwas Chaos. Statt pH- kam zunächst pH+ an, wodurch die Wasseraufbereitung deutlich komplizierter wurde als geplant. Inzwischen ist das Problem aber gelöst und zukünftige Mischungen sollten deutlich entspannter verlaufen. Fehler gehören dazu, besonders wenn man neue Methoden ausprobiert. Wichtig ist am Ende, daraus zu lernen und die Pflanzen genau zu beobachten. Bisher haben sie mir zum Glück alle Fehler teils verziehen. 🌱 p.s. neue LST Haken!
