In a beginner grower pickle... they may look good, and though it seems I may have done everything right through veg, I am almost near sure I messed something up between flower weeks 2-5. They're maturing, but not nearly as much as I thought they would. By now, I imagined they'd have thick bushy white pistils covering at least 6-8 inches of the top of each Cola.
So many mysteries. Is it the node spacing? If so, should have flipped earlier. Is it due to nutrient issues (too many nutes? didn't feed as much base as H&G suggested? Too big of a swing while trying to lower medium EC and PH in medium? Too much pruning on the top?
The only real variable is the Banana Kush. BK is in the far back left and obviously the most difficult to reach and maintain. Initially last week when I flushed, I wasn't able to flush as adequately as other plants nor have I been able to trim, maintain, or LST as much as other two plants. This is the only plant as of right now that does not give off a chemical/nutrient/ammonia smell when I touch the buds, but rather a nice sweet, Banana smell, and it's bushier than the Trainwrexk and G13
Is it because I didn't trim.as much and the buds are feeding off leaf and stem nutrients? Is it because there are fewer bud sites for the light to concentrate on, and thus yield bigger colas? Or is it because I continued to feed this plant has continued to have a high intake of nutrient despite my best efforts of flushing and maintaing?
In any event, I could just be the most impatient person ever, and I hope to be pleasantly surprised in the next week or so, or it's puffy popcorn tops for me.
Day 85 Update: G13 has a ton of fan leaves turning fast. Pretty sure it's a PH issue. Should I wait until they're dead to trim them off or get rid of every fan leaf that is affected more than 50 percent of the leaf?
Something definitely is going on. Could be nutes, could be lights, could be the strains.. who the hell knows but I thought they'd be much bigger and gurthy by now.
They still look good but man I wish they produced more...

Hey now, I hope everyone is having a great weekend, it was a good week for the ladies in the 5X5, they are all starting to stack flowers and really starting to distinguish their own smells. The Bubble Runtz has the most indica dominant looking colas and smells absolutely amazing. The Sundae Driver is looking like she is gonna have the fattest colas and be the biggest producer. I am really hoping I get the red phenotype of the Red Hot Cookies, and both the Green Crack and Durban Nights are showing the most Sativa characteristics and looking great.
I now have the Medic Grow Light cranked up to 100% in F1 mode and am also using the UV/IR for 30 minutes per day prior to lights out. I am running a 12/12 cycle and feeding the same mix of GH nutrients which include Silica, CalMag, MaxiBloom, and Bloom Booster, with additional food grade Hydrogen Peroxide in the reservoir to keep algea growth to a minimum. I mix one 5 gallon bucket of nutes per day and clean my reservoir once per week. My pump is set to auto feed the plants every 5 hours after lights on, and I have a gravity self draining runoff setup I built.
Not much to do from here on out, just keep the reservoir clean and full, a little defoliation, and 5 minutes per day to mix a bucket of nutes.I hope they get fat in the next few weeks and then I have about 7 people lined up to help me trim, I will throw everyone two zips for the help. hoping to do the wet trim in a day.

The plants are ready to be chopped and hung for 3-5 days. I removed all the fans leaves and left them all branches on the main stem. The ladies smell so strong I can wait to see how they turn out when they are dried and cured.
1) I plan to hang them for 3-5 days @ 71 f and 50-55 RH,
2) Do a final tight trim
3) Than I will move them to jars and cure for 2-3 weeks
I will update the diary with harvest pictures & weight before I move them to the jars for curing.
I think the seeds might have got mixed up when packing because these three plants were all supposed to be the same and you can clearly tell from the pictures that they are not.

Week 5 has home and some of my plants are flowering already. With the lst i made a lot of good branches, i had some snaps but nothing that i need to worry about cauuse i fix it with electrical tape.
I added GuanoGalong Dry powder 1.10.1. and GuanoGalong Palm tree ash 1.30. I mixed those 2 powders and feed my plants with top dressing 100 g per plant
I Will lst my plants a little bit more and then i will add the sgroc net to help my plants later on .. :) <3

We have passed three weeks of flowering. I'm very happy with the results so far and considering we have 5 to 6 weeks to go, these buds have the potential to get huge. Started watering more, 4 liters every two days instead of every 3 days.
Also after a full 3 weeks of flowering, we started the flowering amendments, 2 cups of worm castings, 1 cup of bonemeal and a cup of Micro life each. Just put that on top of the soil, watered with the Perma tea, to which I added some woodash, just two tablespoons and stirred. To 12 liters of this I added 60 ml of BAC Organic Flower, 20 mils of BAC Calmag and 12 mils of Top Max.
They seemed to love it, they payed me back with enormous bud growth in the last week.

I have been sitting on my hands regarding defoliating. Because we had a full three weeks of flowering, I started some underside leafpicking and pruning the smallest branches with no chance of growing out. I kept it to a minimum and will gradually do more.
The smells of orange and related citrus is amazing. It is a mixture of orange peels, lime, kumquat, grapefruit and those lovely little oranges they put in Earl Grey tea. The undertones are of a very dense funk, this is going to be a banger, I can tell already.

This week was very well, the girl showed her first pistils and she's stronger and healthier than ever, so:
Day 30 sprayed with bioprotect
Day 31 watered with 3l of water with 6 ml of bh, bg an a-v
Day 33 The first pistils are appearing sign that blooming phase has begun.
Day 34 water with the mix
Day 35 I've turned on the dehumidifier trying to decrease the humidity and starting to defoliated some lower leaves, 3/4 leaves per day stress the plant to much.

Damn 1 of my Grand daddy Purp plants is growing like its life is depending on it lol. As you can see I swapped out that cob light and added my SE-3000 to the room so that I'm running all Spider-Farmer lights during flower. I put it over that tall GDP because I can let the plant get a lot closer to ot then one of my SF lights. I have to say when it comes to what I consider Amazon Special grow lights (Mars Hydro, Phlizon, Spider-Farmer, Viparspectrum, Etc) Spider-Farmer is by far the best. The SF-4000 light I have is still running at 100% after using it for roughly 10 grows now. Other LED brands I've ran only lasted 2-3 grows before they needed to be replaced. I've had the SF-2000 for just over a year now and it's got about 4 grows on it and again still working 100%. Now I just finished my first run in my 3x3 with the SE-3000 (last 2 weeks I'm running a blurpe LED light to see how it effects the potency) and I was extremely happy with thw outcome of the light. For only 300w I feel like it did a better job then my 450w SF-4000 light in my 4x4 tents.
The humidity levels and temperature have been doing great all week during day/night even with temperatures outside dropping to 3c. I'm expecting November/December/January to be very difficult out here to try and keep the temp up. So what I might do is run a 400W HPS light in my 3x3 next go around during the day to keep it warm and then run the main room at night with the LEDs. We'll see what it's like when I get there tho. Also thinking of moving the 2x2x4 to the main room and putting my 2x3x5 tent were it is. Again tho we well see.

I feed them with the Hybrid powder and some Boster from Green House Feeding Nutrients. I gave them some CalGreen from Metrop, the best Cal-Mag of the market.
They are under a MarsHydro TSW 3000 at 60% of power and at 30cm of the canopy.

buds are very visible and getting some mass (still really small though) and really satisfied with the number of bud sites. REALLY REALLY can't wait to harvest these ladies.
P.S. the plant at the end of the last video is an autoflower we planted a few weeks ago.

I raised the pot 14 cm to get her closer to the light. The Hulkberry next to her measures 126 cm. SHe's full of buds and she's very sticky. Her smell is amazing!!

DID SOME MAJOR DEFOLIATION SO THE LIGHT CAN PENETRATE THE BOTTOM BRANCHES. ITS REALLY STARTING TO SHOW WITH HOW MUCH BRANCHES HAVE SHOT OUT.
