Another week closer. It's almost time, with a week or two left, the girls leaves are starting to yellow up and the buds are turning rock hard.. Going to be a nice harvest. One thing that did happen is one of the Banana Puddings ...the big girl...we had some Bananas pop out, along with massive swelling of pistils..I'm not to worried its late in budding with only a couple of weeks left it shouldn't be a problem...Also Her buds are massive and what looked like some bananas was just swelled pistols that exploded with hairs...I don't know the reason why it happened i was not really pushing them and everything is in check...we did get a couple of hot days but not crazy hot..so hard to tell if it was some kind of stress or just a genetic mess up. All the other girls are just fine and finishing up with no problem. Until next week, smoke a fatty, help out your fellow grower.

Ok on flower day 65 i did a prechop of sticky smelly Buds. This is the Rest for Ripening. 04.10. Its boring to wait. Just added some water. Aphid shit on my buds (i wash), Or using insectoxids. Now you know why i can not use Insecticide. Another part chop. On day 71

In dieser Woche hab ich das letzte topping durchzogen. Ich habe jetzt aus 8 hauptriebe pro Pflanze 16 hauptriebe gemacht. Die hauptriebe werde ich jetzt bis zum topfrand waschen lassen und dann straigt up nach oben wachsen lassen. Was ich bisher raus lesen konnte ist das die Orange Creampop extrem hungrig auf CalMag ist. Vielleicht lieget es auch dab der LED aber sie benötigt viel CalMag.

What happened to the Purple Kosher? It grew several bananas and since I don't want to throw it away, I tried to cut off every banana I could find. For two days now it didn't grow more bananas, but it feels like the booster dosis was wasted on banana growth :( The Lemon Mandarin is going really strong with thick buds for this flowerday and it smells really strong like mandarins. Almost like you peeled one inside the tent. The Bruised Banana has a soft, fruity smell and the Papaya Sherbert probably takes 1 - 2 weeks more than the other 3 plants. Fertilizers were 1 g of Pflanzengeflüster on 10 L Plant Booster 3g on 10 L Weedtamine 10g on 10 Liters

Day 21 flowering: Here we are after the stretch period has slowed down and I am now the proud grower of some great looking sweet seeds buds. All of the girls are producing really good looking, healthy budlets with a couple having some very dark purple to them too. I have spent some time re training them to a more open frame so the light can reachbthe developing lowers better and the airflow can be made more fluent below decks too. G girl#1 has some very nice tops forming up now with node spacing that should bring them to a more joined up affair. her size is good and I think I could have allowed her to grow more height for her canopy. She has a fair few mains going on too. G Girl# #2 8s still way out in front in bud development and her size is on par with #1. She has remained fairly squat in size and again I feel she could have been allowed way more height. Her node spacing is perfect for creating very fat donkey colas now and they are beginning to reach each other on the stems. opening her out and only removing the damages and very big fan leaves has definately been a must do job . she is ripe for bud rot with those chunky buds and so much foliage to trap the warm air too. G Girl#3 remains the stunted sister of the grouping in her 30L pot but I do think thisbis a pheno thing and not just the smaller pot. she has a slightly lighter colour to her leaves too. She has wider node spacing than the others but this could be more about perspective of size too. G Girl#4 is turning into the stars of the show for me. I wanted to try the tie down 5th node method that I have seen done by another grower i share info with. seeing the result and how it allows the lowers to form with very little slow down for recovery as topping does. The lowers have still shot out to become mains rhe same way but her size has kept going. Her node spacing is good and again I expect some nice thick colas to form. I am getting a diesel whiff from close up so far but expect the smells to start anytime now. I am very happy with this strain so far and find it very easy to work with. They seem very happy with their soil and I did add shogun boost and pk warrior to their major feed yesterday too. Sweet Cheese is looking good. I am glad i left her to go natural too and seeing her managable height , I think this is the way to go in future with her strain. 6/13: I harvested both plants today. I did a cursory wet-trim and washed their buds, and then hung them to dry. I'm guessing the ugly one will weigh in at about 80g, and the smaller, pretty one, will weigh in at about 65-70g. The plants ended up being the biggest in my garden, but were a little slower than some of the other strains to get into flower. The buds never swelled up very big, but they're very dense and smell wonderful. The aromas really bring back memories from the last time I grew NL back in the early 90's. Looking forward to giving it a try!👍 I'll update in another week or so with the smoke report and my final thoughts.. 9/16: Initially, it had not much smell or flavor, but after leaving it alone for a few months, it improved quite a bit. Still not my favorite, but very good bud all the same. Plant A: 83g Plant B: 75g Potency: 6/10 Yield: 6/10 Aroma: 7/10 Flavor: 7/10 Density: 8/10 Bag-appeal: 8/10 Tolerance to abuse: 9/10

After germinating the seeds are transplanted into small pots with soil (see tutorial in VIDEO above). The soil is prepared with water mixed with a little bit of BIO NOVA Roots (0,5 ml/l), which aids the development of the seedling. Transplanting is very easy now, because they have grown a STRAIGHT tap-root while hanging during the SERIOUS' WAY of germination. This straight root allows for easy potting of the seeds. Simply make a little hole in the center of the soil with your pinky finger and carefully place the germinated seed with the white root pointing DOWNWARDS into the hole. Best is to lay it onto one side-wall of the hole with the seed shell right at the surface. Then I push the other side inwards and enclose the whole root with soil. At the end only the top of the seed-shell peeks out of the soil. IT IS VERY IMPORTANT to plant the seeds NOT TO DEEP into the soil. The seedling only needs extra strength to work itself upwards thru the soil and you run the risk of the soil drying out and the seed dying off. When you PLANT THE SEED VERY SHALLOW into the soil (=with the top of the seed-shell still peeking out) your seedling can grow out right away and you have a small plant already 24 hours after putting the seed into the soil. The small seedling sometimes still has the seed-shell on its 'head', it normally falls off by itself, but sometimes you have to carefully help and take it off with your finger nails. Be careful to NOT clip of the seedling accidentally when you do this! The seed-shall has an inner lining, which feeds the small seedling when it germinates. This inner lining sometimes gets tangled around the stem of the small seedling after the shell has fallen off. This little skin MUST be taken off the stem right away! Once it dries up, it gets hard and can strangulate the seedling around the stem. In order to avoid this, the skin must be taken off as soon as possible! I show it in the pics above and also made a video about taking off the inner lining of the seed.

Just letting them go so far. Had to pull some limbs down and helpem out a bit. But nothing crazy. Keeping them stout hopefully not trying to make any monsters. flowering has takin off quite well i had to wait some time before i could re emend the soil due to not having any. Now that i do have some there should be some major growth with the coming weeks, I Topped with worm castings and Gaia Greens Power Bloom Dry amendments! Watering When dry Method Aswell i dont think i mentioned this!
