Just in case, I’ve put two more seeds in the paper towel method as backups. 2 girls 1 cup week 3! Thanks for stopping by and checking out my experiment. They're getting a little big to be taking individual overhead pics everyday now. They always both end up in the same shot no matter what. Will still update daily with pic. Got a new cam that can do timelapse. Almost sent it back until I said fuck it and tried TWO layers of sunglasses. Diff colors too. One more of a FLD filter color, one more of a UV filter color. Both are polarized as well. I'm sure the night vision footage will be trash with the IR behind the lenses, so the timelapse will have res checks/changes and night prob edited out. Stay tuned for that! Going 1/2 strength GHE week 3 light feed and actually changed RES last night. Was looking at em and already noticed WG was drooping more than it should. Normal transportation and growth/energize cycles are expected, but was looking overwatered. GC if you look in vid "d14" in first and second set of fingers showing interveinal chlorosis. PH has been between 5.52 and 6.4 (lowest and highest), and averages a swing in a 12hr shift from 5.71'ish to 6.17'ish. Not uploading notes again like last week, but you'd get the idea if you saw them, I take notes lol. So PH wasn't an issue. They've been averaging a 7-15ppm drop in res per 12hr and has only been climbing again due to ph down additions. I should prob change RES mid week so it's not a high concentration of ph product. So they're DEF eating proper, have stable ph swings, optimal res Temps and dissolved oxygen is good. WG taking on more water to get the nutes, causing leaves to droop from excess water. GC moving nutes from old growth to the new growth. So they're hungry. Ghe claims 62.5ppm nitrogen, 275-375ppm target per mixture below. Mixed and measured in between each addition to get my numbers. -2gal Water/calmag/hydroguard 215ppm -Micro 4.9mL - 170ppm -Grow 4.6mL - 100ppm -Bloom 3.4mL - 60ppm Nute concentration - 330ppm (nailed it again GHE) Water - 215ppm Total - 545ppm Ph'd to 5.6 final tds 563ppm Mars Hydro TSW2000 on theeee way to finish these girls off right.. some of my worries are settled. For now... *they just ate 32ppm since this mornings RES chk/adj... I was thinking I'd have to swap RES once mid week once they get older, but think they may benefit from it sooner than later. Tap roots popping out by the chute for the air line, the temp sensor, and the main stack.. going to have to pump the res out pretty soon to avoid root damage. Feel like Bruce Almight parting a bowl of soup lol ******didn't want to post a pic of my girls in distress, but documenting everything else, so why tf not. swapped out the clear sight tube for a more UV friendly agro green. Marked the tube in the same spot as the clear, but it was almost a gallon more in reality at the same mark. I was drowning them with no air gap below the upper growing chamber. After measuring, it was submerged by about 5/8th inch. Sorted that out, and took almost all day for em to perk up. On top of that, the new light and adding another oscillator changed my environment. No more humidifier in the tent. Thought I lost both of them.. Soggy leaves, spotting, etc. Backed nutes back down to 3/4 strength wk 3 due to slight curling in new growth and one lighter tip on one new finger. Shortened the training rods tonight and started with some bondage. Prob the last time they'll get tied down before the net gets used (if needed) here in a week or so. Backed off to 16 DLI from 20 until they really perk up. End of week 3

I am a little bit worried about its flowers size so I've duplicated the green sensation dose from 1mL/L to 2mL/L due I haven't using any other fertilizer apart from the banana (+potato+honey) juice . These photos are intended to take a look at the state of their trichomes, since, according to the variety information, there is only one week left to be harvested (although I do not believe it). Lets see what happens.

These ladies here have been fighting me all the way lol but everything still seems to be coming out good. They are stacking nice and buds are rock solid already. Just gonna keep doing what I can to keep these 2 girls happy lol.

Plants continued to stretch last week, I had to weave a couple branches through the top screen as well to keep them level with the canopy. Overall it’s going good, I did a defoliation again a few days ago to try and open up as many budding sites as possible to the light. I noticed some nutrient burn on my leaf tips at the end of last week so I diluted the reservoir water with 3 gal of fresh water. My HPS light is still turned down to 750w as the light output at the top of the canopy exceeds 75 000 lux directly under the light even turned down. I have a light mover moving my light though so it’s not always in one spot. This is only my second crop using this light mover though so I’m still adjusting its speed and pause time and doing some experimenting with it...lol smell is normal still, not strong but it’s noticeable when you open up the tent. I will be updating more pictures and videos throughout the week as well. Cheers 💨

Day 70. Switching to 24/0 because the humidity is going above 70% in the night, only having the light on helps. TG1 is getting super frosty, smelling like some kind of sweet cereal. TG2 is smelling like straight diesel gas. I’m really excited to see these buds dense up. There were so many white hairs making up the buds it looked really cool.

I have to dry the buds in the dark at 20 degrees in 50% humidity 😍

Gone for a 3 days journey, I now can see that the girls has seriously grown !!!! great :) So much so I decided to try a bit of LST. My very first time ! 7 hours later, the 3 plants has fully recovered their position, strait to the sky ! amazying. I feed them with the Biobizz nutrients and let them grow again. We'll sea ! If I believe what I can read on the web, the flowaring stage should start soon. Maybe in one or two weeks. So it's a perfect timing for them to grow more again before flowering after LST. D-34 : Looks like they are thirsty so I feed them one more (3 time this week) with BioBizz nutrients. The temperature is getting high in the box. Don't really know what to do... I'd like to avoid opening the tent becose of the cat (love to play with plants !) and the smell.

Not as frosty as I was hoping for, maybe they will be late trichome developers. Day 76 edit: the smell is really strong now, I got my nose really close to one and got a strong lemon candy smell. The bud have been swelling like crazy, some days nearly doubling in size

I watered today with 1.5g of de-chlorinated water which was then ph'd to 6.6 @ 72℉ turned her pot and shot a few pictures of her. 10/6- Today I watered her with 1.5g of her usual straight de-chlorinated water that's ph'd to 6.5 @ 72℉ and turned her pot. She's definitely starting to fade, is still stacking her flowers, bulking up and has an incredible amount of trichomes which I'm beginning to monitor daily. 10/8- The routine of watering every other day continues like clockwork. Yesterday was a 'no water' day and I did a basic check over of the plant, removed a couple of yellowed lower leaves and turned her pot. Today she got the usual 1.5g of straight de-chlorinated water that's ph'd to 6.5 @ 72℉ and had her pot turned. I've also begun to check her trichome development with a digital USB microscope to try to identify the ideal harvest time which will be here in around two weeks +/-. 10/10- Well, Week Eight has come, gone and has been a trial once again of my patience with this Ten Week cultivar! She's so freaking frosty that I've wanted to chop her several times but, I know from experience, good things come to those who wait... then wait a bit more. I anticipate that she's not going to make the 70 days in flower 'suggested' by the breeder and will probably go in the dark later this coming week, but we'll have to see what her trichomes have to say! I've cut the wattage back on the HLG 650R to 500w at the wall now to simulate the way that sunshine becomes weaker as fall approaches due to the lower angle of the sun in the sky. This helps outdoor plants to know that winters on the way and they need to hurry up and complete their life cycle. Cutting the wattage back creates the same effect on the indoor plants, especially when coupled with lowered temperatures in the tent. I have also noticed that her water uptake has slowed. After her heavy watering on the 8th, her pot still had some weight to it and she was looking great so I went ahead and skipped watering her today, watering her tomorrow at lights on with her usual. Very easy genetics did only topping at 21st day and just light feed throughout,she is very thirsty for cal-mag from early flowers ,not very much purple going on but i can see some pink going around ,produced very big colas ,now whole plant hanging to dry for about 7-10 days and will update soon 🌞🌞💚✂️😍 End result im pretty happy with love the purple colours too will defo run this again 💚💚💨🍑

The plant has two colas with signs of polyploidy - both colas "twins" are on the same level, opposite each other 😍 I shot a short video - I still need to add special effects, for this blockbuster 😂 The height of the plant is only 23 cm 😀
