What a nice harvest. Fingers were like id been playing with super glue. And stunk of lemon orange + fuel. Sex on stems. Really nice harvest. I stripped thus one down a lot more than what I normally do ad it had a lot of weird shapes. And the HST points would of made for an uneven dry in parts. Took over 14 days to dry at 19.5c 50-55rh. 2 months curing. Yet, not much was left to show. I don't think it was THE BEST pheno. So I will do a hunt on this and grow 3 while prepping clones and will find that perfect one and grow the oranges off it. Fuck lemon is GOOOODDDDDDD LEMON & ORANGES SOOOOO FUUUCCCCKKKIIINNNGGGG

Day 63 - Thunderhaze Auto I think I got a little lightburn but things are looking really frosty, this girl drinks a gallon plus a day so I've stopped using RO water because I was bringing it in 5 gallon bottles which is getting too much of a hassle and cost so she is going to get tap water from now on but I'll use RO water again later when I flush. I was feeding the full grow/bloom/micro line up just about every other day but im going to cut back to only 2 times a week and ill feed with Recharge 2 times a week and all other waterings inbetween with just a little Terpinator.

Still flushing and she has about a week left to go now or so lol like more less than anything! Aromas are so sweet and dank can’t wait for her to be ready she’s amazing

They ended up getting too tall and if I had let the cola's develop where they were, they would've outgrown my tent so instead I did some super cropping and bent over most of the top branches on pheno's 3 & 4 (left & right).

Day64/Flower16 03.03 Optimized my setup. I can handle humidity better now. Just in time. Puuh. I also changed back to hesi nutrients. Plants are really thirsty now. Watering every 2 days. Actually using about 12 liters. About 3 liters per plant every second day. Plants are really looking nice. Super excited. Plants are super easy to train, amazing flexibility. You can almost do knots with the branches. :) Growers life is an adventurous life...yeah... Day67/FL19 06.03 Everything looks fine. Planning to water them everyday as long as i'm not busy. Trying to figure out the exact amount of hesi nutrients..

They are all showing preflower and chugging along nicely.

Thank you to everyone for following this journey! The results were nuts. Honestly, I would've been happy with 40g dry as this is my first grow. I DEFINITELY did not expect this outcome which is insane. This gives me so much confidence in my future grows and appreciation for the companies whose products I used. So, now to the point - Dry weight - Top class buds - 176g, smaller buds - 32g, larf/leaves/scissor hash - 26g. To sum up - 208g of product you can smoke and 26g that'll go to edibles. First grow, 2x2 tent, 100w light, three-part fertilizer and cal mag - that's insane, especially because I was expecting nothing more than 60g and like I mentioned, I would've been happy with 40g. I even thought my scale was broken or something went wrong, I still can't believe I pulled 208g of bud. It took 117 days from seed to smoke - that's disregarding the cure. Seed to flower in 42 days. Flower to harvest in 61 days. 14 days drying. Thank you to FastBuds, I've sent them an email about the grow with some questions and got a speedy reply with some pointers towards the end of the flower. Also, I don't have anything to compare this grow with but I had 0 issues with pests which I was really happy about. I didn't have to spray anything on the plants, didn't have a single bug inside the tent. They mention on the website that NL is a very resilient strain so that might've been because of this specific strain. Spiderfarmer light did amazing too - 208g of bud from 100w light!. General Hydroponics did way better than I expected - there's so many companies with multiple bottles of nutrients that expect you to spend ridiculous amounts of money on their products while I got crazy results with just 3 basic bottles. Cal and Mag by Canna worked with no complaints. Takeaways - seems like the runoff pH doesn't matter in coco - I could be wrong but I struggled with coco pH from the very beginning. Regardless, the outcome speaks for itself. Maybe the harvest would've been even better with an optimal pH but in this particular grow, I don't think it mattered much. Before starting this grow I've done A LOT of research and it looks like it most definitely paid off! I was panicking at first because of the slow growth. The plant also had some leaf deformities and the color wasn't as green as I've expected it to be. It was stressful at first, I think especially because I was constantly comparing my grow to someone else's. This specific LST method where I kept rotating the main stem clockwise every day or two paid off as well. The canopy was relatively even and new tops grew crazy fast. The only thing left to do is to cure the bud. I had two 1.5L containers ready for cure/storing since I didn't expect to pull much but had to go acquire a few more "big boys" to fit all the product in, which is a good problem to have. I don't think that I'll be updating the cure here but the plan is to burp 2x/day for 15-30min each time for the first week and 1x/day for 15-30min the second week. After the first couple of weeks I won't be timing the burps. As of now, I've placed boveda 62% packs inside the containers to maintain a RH of at least 58% in the jars. About the Northern Lights strain - the smell hasn't fully returned yet post trim, but it smells like sweet fruits with a hint of black pepper. You can still smell a bit of pine/grass but I think that'll be gone after the cure. Buds are covered with trichomes, they shine like diamonds when you take a better look. Also, the buds look a little airy but are still really dense when pressed. The smoke - It's a tasty, relaxing high. I get why people describe it as night time smoke but for me personally, it grounds me a bit and I can enjoy it anytime. Also, it burns white ash :)) P.S. This is a lengthy diary but I hope that people can learn some stuff from my notes shall they read them! Thanks to everyone that followed the journey, showed support or just browsed through. 7/23 I already wrote a bunch of shit but my phone wacked out and deleted everything I had written and wouldn't work. I had to water deeply as it's been super hot. I'll write everything thing below. 7/24 I deeply watered everything again. The past few days have been like 90 plus degrees. I think I saw mld on the soil of my plants. Scary. Just fuzzy looking shit on a couple. I did water during the day when I got back from vacation as they were drooping and needed a feed. I'm wondering if it's diatomaceous earth since I've never used it. I thought I had a handle on earwigs but they seem to be inflicting more damage and shred some leaves or chew new bud sites. WPM is still there but I've been hesitant to treat since it's been so fucking hot. Today I saw too leaves tacoed. I'll definitely up the kelp the next feed. Senecios is definitely happening. It looks like a deficiency sometimes but the have grown a tremendous amount in height. I showed a commercial grower and he seconded my opinion. I have a lot of work to do. I have kinda forget the two little clones I took. They are still in 1 gallon pots all rootbound. Thy were extras anyway. That skunk ape plant is a beast and super resilient. I think that's a strain I'll stick with. Super mild and pest resistant. I have videos to add but internet is slow and I need to put the phone down so it can charge. I really need to think about when to switch to bloom nutes. I might need open sesame but it's the only one I don't have and I don't think it will make it or break it if I don't use it 7/25 I've been neglecting my garden the past few mornings due to some family medical problems. I didn't water this morning. I read about the mold on the soil (two bags same strain far from each other) and garden pages say that it's a (good) mold and "the soil is banging!" as in very good soil. And it's just eating the decomposing material. I'll research more but it said something on a cannabis forum to scoop it off the top and treat with vinegar solution. Thing is those are like the best plants lol. It's weird. Maine weather is bi-polar. I also forgot about a couple clones I had taken. They were just extras but still. I might transplant them even though they are still in the 1 gallon. 7/26 I didn't water today and my phone completely shut the bid so no photos or videos either. Next feed I'm switching to bloom. I defoliated what needed it. Eating population seems down but I've still got some pm. I wasn't planning on spraying until Temps are down. Mayve tonight. Once I figure this phone out and point some time at the garden I'll update. I spent quite a while defoliating today. Plants are almost through the stretch. They've been 7/27 fed 3 gallons. Upped grow big to 2tsp per gallon and defoliated what needed it. My blueberry was drooped right over and seems to be "falling" and the roots seemed to he breaking away from the plant due to somevof the strong storms. Itscrhe only plant not supported. I added a stake and tied it back up. Then I topped off the soil with happy frog and mounded it up around the trunk and watered around it. 7/28 I'm still noticing earwig damage. Wr found one in the house. I put out more of those spinosid pelleys and reapplied diatomaceous earth as well as re-applyong petroleum jelly on bottom of plant stalk and branch intersections. PM is still visible. I'm planning to spray either tonight or tomorrow. It will probably be with the organocide. The potassium bicarbonate works good too. I wish either of those worked in earwigs. When the internet is faster I'll upload a video showing the interior of the plant. 7/29 We had brief but torrential rains last night. I defoliated a bucket full of used up leaves. Either that or deficiency that I haven't nailed down. I believe it's senescence since it happens the same time of year according to past journals. However it concerns me that it could possible be related to a time (in (nature) which the earwigs become larger and more aggressive. I don't know. Im guessing. They like to eat the shoots that grow the buds. I need to check soil ph. Some small leaves turn yellow and die. Plants look great and are really transitioning and "stretching" like crazy. I will update further later.

Oh man! Flushed her for 9 days and stuck a fork in her! I had 3 branches I forgot to weigh, they were cut a day earlier. Mr. Floppy pants. Should be kinda close to 7ish when dry. Shall see! flowering day 15 - plants began to drink very actively. flowering day 18 - sugar started to build up and a very tart smell appeared and defoliation add 1100 ppm

Lovely strain, likes food and consistent environments. Hard dense nugs, very potent sativa effect, smells like raw mango. Will take it a week longer next time.

25th April day 46 4 plants stripped I will give them a few days to recover and flip to the 12/12 cycle

08/29/24. Going into week 9 flower Day 65 out of stated 70. I think this one might be about spot on. Quite a lot of milky trichomes when I checked a couple days ago. I will be checking again today. Not much else going on, other than water only now and decreased light intensity to about 55%. Gotta say that even with the fights I had with this girl in parts of veg, I’m loving how things are turning out. She’s a freaking sticky, frosty, smelly beast. Can’t wait to see what harvest brings, but don’t worry.. she won’t be rushed. Anyhow, Ill update if anything changes Update: 09/03/24. Banana is no longer with the living. She was taken last night and is hanging fully in a dark closet at 61/72 with a small fan for air movement. It’s pointed down and not blowing at her. I don’t have a way to wet weigh, I always just give dry weight so no point in doing the harvest update week yet. I will do that when she’s dry and ready to cure. She’s definitely heavy though :)

07/09 - 3 days after breaking ground On the second day had to remove the residue of the seed that was gluing the leaves together. Video attached Turned the light to 50% and around 50cm from the plants. All systems - check
