These plants got off to a slow start, as I can tell by the pony tail root system. They were scrawny little plants from the get go. I believe due to a couple reasons. Colder night time temperatures in my tent and in the reservoirs, creating anthocyanins as a cold defense which has given them some color. Talk about the smell of blackberries. Did I say Blackberries! I’m not one to throw things out so I gave them some love and patience. You can tell these girls are fighters. Check out the resins drops in the second video. That's why I rated Blackberry a 10 was because of the resin drops. Can't wait to grow again, expecting larger yields.

This week is pretty chill, I'm letting them do they're own things. I'm fairly new to growing, so I'm doing different techniques with each plant. I topped one of the alien Moonrocks, leaving the other and letting one go just normal. As you can see from the pictures, they responded REALLY well from LST. I've heard nothing but solid things from Twisted Trees. Some are planted in a 5 gallon bucket, and some random sizes. I got my 7 gallons too late, I don't want to risk shocking them when I transplant as they are doing fine. I'm really just testing the waters, see what works for my indoor grow. Also added humidifier, running around 45-50 percent humidity.

Week 6 begins for LSD and Green Crack! These ladies were thirsty! They will get an extra 1/2 round of feeding later this week to satisfy their hunger. LSD smells so fruity and citrusy and is frosty. Hopefully they'll bulk up from here to the finish line. Green Crack is just starting to show frost, she's got lots of bud development, but still waiting for them to bulk up over the next 2-3 weeks. Thanks for stopping by growfessors 👽🌳💚

Finally moved into their forever home and final pots all seems generally good,it's abit tricky with multiple strains as they all react differently so trying to balance and learn what each strain likes is abit harder, net is in place and already using it to spread the canopy out for more top nodes and coverage

420 Fastbuds FBT2303 Week 4 Weekly update for these two beautiful plants. Both seem about the same height though one is definitely more stacked. I did do a major deforliation on both taking off most bigger fan leafs, even though you can't tell. I'll probably do another mild one as they transition into flower as I'm starting to see pistols forming. I did up the water/feeding to 2000ml every other day alternating from nutes to just ph'd water. All in all Happy Growing

Another week passed and all plants looking much more tough, healthy and new leaves are not curling at all. So recovery after wind burn went well. Also, yellowing stopped on new leaves, so I fixed mag deficiency I guess. Plants started to produce nice tropical smell, and I know its a good sign. Also lots of trichomes started on all jacks and critical jack. Only the talles plant, Somango, is still not fast as others but I guess its just becouse of the pheno. Cheers guys!

Day29: New sets of leaves. I'll repot and switch to proper Veg Lights on the weekend. Day30: I'll repot tomorrow. Day31: Repotting done. She had a crazy amount of roots in the seedling pot. MUCH more than I expected. I switched to Veg lights at 90% power. Day32: Settling in new pot Day33 & 34: I had to perform some maintenance on the tent. Lost some hours due to that. Day35: Growth really looking healthy. Although she's not really stretching high, she does look rather happy. I do like them thicc ;) General: I need to put the camera somewhere else so that the growth can be better seen. Right at the end I'll edit out the white flashes. They're caused by the humidifier running and will be really easy to cut out without losing the gist of the grow :)

Day 14 Flower: Hey Growers. This week has gone pretty well. I am trying to dial in the Vipar Spectra XS2000 where the plants are happy and have reaching leaves. I have it set to 22-24” above the canopy and 95% and that seems to be where they’re happy for now. There are buds starting to form up and some stretch happening. This next week I will be doing a leaf strip as this pheno is super leafy, I just don’t want to stunt that upward stretch right now. They are much happier with water every other day and may need to increase to daily. As a combat to possible fungus gnats or soil born pests, I use h202 when doing my plain watering. They also seem to really like the “liquid” oxygen that is a byproduct of its use. If it’s could get another 3-4” of stacked stretch I’d be really pleased, but whatever they do is up to them. All I can do is try to make them happy and in turn they will do the same for me later. 👍🏻👍🏻 Happy Growing 🌱✌️🇺🇦

What’s up yall!!?? Week 6 and we got some serious buds growing in. Some of the sites that I thought wouldn’t produce actually surprised me. I haven’t changed much with this grow. I think the flush I did worked well and the plant seemed to react in a positive way. Trellis net and some LST just to get light down to the lower sites seem to have worked. No real change in nutrient and feeding. I do feed every watering so there I no skipping. I still use the General Hydroponics flora series and some cal mag. That’s literally all! See y’all in week 7

🌱 8×8 Adventure | Folder 09 Candy Rain – Plant A | Week 4 The Little Survivor Every grow tells a different story, and sometimes the most memorable stories begin with unexpected setbacks. Welcome back to the 8×8 Adventure, a project dedicated to exploring multiple genetics grown 12/12 From Seed inside the same flowering environment. The goal is simple: document every phenotype individually, compare their development under identical conditions, and learn something new from every plant along the way. Folder 09 follows our Candy Rain. Unfortunately, she is the only survivor from this batch. The other seeds didn’t make it, and that’s entirely on us. Growing is a journey of constant learning, and sometimes the greatest lessons come from the mistakes we make. Rather than seeing it as a failure, we’ve chosen to give this little lady all of our attention and let her show us exactly what she’s capable of. Every plant deserves the opportunity to tell its own story. ⸻ 🌿 The 8×8 Adventure This entire project is being grown inside our dedicated 8×8 flowering tent, where every cultivar begins life immediately under a 12 hours ON / 12 hours OFF light schedule. There is no long vegetative period. Instead, every plant develops naturally from seed while already living under flowering conditions, creating unique structures, shorter internodal spacing and allowing us to compare how different genetics react to exactly the same environment. Although every plant shares the same room, nutrients and lighting, each phenotype expresses itself differently. That’s exactly why each folder documents a single plant from start to finish. Candy Rain is proving that point perfectly. ⸻ 🌡️ Environment Despite summer temperatures continuing to challenge the room, the environment has remained remarkably stable. Week 4 Conditions • Light Schedule: 12/12 • Day Temperature: 33°C • Night Temperature: 25°C • Relative Humidity: 63% • pH: 6.1 • EC: 1.35 mS/cm • CO₂: 639 ppm • Pot Size: 15 L Even with daytime temperatures reaching 33°C, the plants continue responding well thanks to stable humidity, strong air circulation and careful environmental management. Consistency is often far more important than chasing perfect numbers. ⸻ 💧 Feeding Programme Candy Rain receives the same balanced Plagron feeding programme as the rest of the room. Current solution per litre: • Terra Grow — 1.8 ml/L • Power Roots — 1 ml/L • Pure Zym — 1 ml/L • Sugar Royal — 1 ml/L The solution is adjusted to pH 6.1, maintaining nutrient availability while supporting healthy root development throughout this early stage. Because this plant is hand-watered, every irrigation becomes another opportunity to inspect the substrate, monitor water consumption and observe her development closely. ⸻ 🌱 Development From the very beginning it became clear that this Candy Rain is developing differently from many of the other plants in the room. She remains significantly smaller, with a naturally compact structure and shorter internodal spacing. While several of her neighbours have already begun stretching into flower, this phenotype seems to prefer building slowly, producing tight growth and a sturdy main stem before committing to vertical expansion. Sometimes 12/12 From Seed reveals exactly these kinds of differences. Certain cultivars explode almost immediately, while others seem to take their time adapting before accelerating later in flower. At this point there is nothing suggesting poor health. Quite the opposite. Her new growth is vibrant, symmetrical and full of life. Every node develops cleanly, her stem continues to strengthen and the fresh growth emerging from the centre has a beautiful healthy colour. She’s simply telling her own story at her own pace. ⸻ 🍃 A Small Setback One detail worth mentioning this week is the damage visible on a few of the older fan leaves. After careful observation, the injury doesn’t resemble a nutritional problem. The new growth remains completely unaffected and the damaged areas are isolated to only a handful of older leaves. The most likely explanation is mechanical wind damage. With strong airflow inside the flowering room, larger fan leaves can occasionally fold onto themselves or vibrate continuously in the same position. Over time this creates dry, burnt-looking patches that may resemble nutrient issues but are actually simple physical damage. Because the affected leaves aren’t getting worse and the new growth remains perfect, no corrective feeding changes were necessary. Sometimes the best decision is simply to observe instead of reacting. ⸻ 🍃 Gentle Training Training remains intentionally minimal. Rather than removing healthy foliage, we continue relying on leaf tucking to expose developing shoots to the available light. By carefully moving larger fan leaves beneath the canopy, lower branches receive more light without reducing the plant’s photosynthetic capacity. This gentle approach allows the plant to continue building energy while maintaining as much healthy foliage as possible during these early stages. Patience often produces better results than unnecessary intervention. ⸻ 🌱 Looking Forward Although Candy Rain currently appears to be one of the smallest plants inside the 8×8 tent, that certainly doesn’t mean she’ll stay that way. Some phenotypes invest heavily in root development before accelerating above the soil. Others naturally remain compact throughout their entire life while producing exceptionally dense flowers. That’s exactly why projects like this are so enjoyable. Every phenotype becomes its own little experiment. Whatever path this Candy Rain decides to follow, she’ll receive exactly the same care, patience and attention as every other plant in the room. Because every seed deserves the opportunity to reach its full potential. ⸻ 💚 Final Thoughts Growing has a funny way of keeping us humble. Sometimes everything goes according to plan. Sometimes we lose seeds. Sometimes one little survivor becomes the most interesting plant in the room. That’s exactly why we document every stage honestly—the successes, the mistakes and everything in between. Every experience teaches something valuable, and every diary becomes another chapter in the journey. A massive thank you to everyone following the 8×8 Adventure. Your encouragement, advice and shared passion for growing make these journals far more meaningful than they would ever be on their own. Huge thanks to Zamnesia for the genetics, Plagron for the incredible nutrition keeping this garden healthy, Future of Grow LEDs for providing the light that powers every day of this project, and to the entire GrowDiaries team and community for giving growers around the world a place to learn, share and inspire one another. As always, thank you for stopping by, for reading, and for growing alongside me. Until next week… Growers Love and happy growing! 🌱💚

🌱 Grow Report — Week 9 (Week 5 Flower) Photoperiods | 12/12 from Seed vs 2 Weeks Veg After weeks of growth, adjustments, patience, and a few ups and downs… we’ve arrived at one of the most exciting stages of the cycle. This is where everything starts to come together. ⸻ 🔬 Quick Recap (for anyone joining now) We’re running the same genetics in two different approaches: • 🌱 Plant A — 12/12 from seed (no veg) • 🌱 Plant B — 2 weeks veg before 12/12 Current environment: • 🌡️ 28°C • 💧 60–65% RH • ⚡ EC 2.4 • pH 6.5 • 🌬️ CO₂ ~1000 ppm • 💧 Water intake: ~1.5–2L/day Both plants are healthy, vigorous, and pushing hard — but expressing themselves very differently. ⸻ 🌿 What’s Happening This Week This is true flower acceleration. You can see it clearly: • Bud sites stacking • Internodal spacing defining structure • Pistils exploding • Trichomes beginning to coat everything The plant is now shifting energy from: 👉 vertical growth → flower production + resin output ⸻ ✨ Trichomes — The Frost Begins Those macro shots… beautiful. What you’re seeing: • Early capitate-stalked trichomes forming • Resin heads still mostly clear • Rapid increase in density on sugar leaves and calyxes Why do trichomes exist? They’re not just “frost”: • 🛡️ Protection against UV • 🐛 Defense against pests • 💧 Moisture regulation • Chemical factory (terpenes + cannabinoids) What does this level of production mean? 👉 Strong genetic expression 👉 Good environmental balance 👉 High potential for quality resin later on Right now = foundation stage Later = bulking + ripening ⸻ 🌸 Pistils (White Hairs) — What They Tell Us Those white hairs everywhere = pistils. They are: • The female reproductive organs • Designed to catch pollen (which we don’t want here) What they indicate: • Plant is in active flower development • Bud sites are still building structure • No maturity yet — still early/mid stage When they: • Turn orange/brown → maturity approaching • Recede → calyx swelling begins Right now? 👉 Peak formation phase ⸻ 🌱 Bud Formation & Structure You said it perfectly: 👉 “Golf balls forming” That’s exactly it. What we’re seeing: • Tight clusters starting • Defined spacing between bud sites • Structure that will determine final yield Key observation: • The spacing is clean and organized • Light penetration is doing its job • No overcrowding → better airflow + resin potential ⸻ 🌿 Color & Health That lush green? 👉 Perfect. It means: • Nitrogen still available but not excessive • No major deficiencies • Photosynthesis running strong At EC 2.4: 👉 They’re feeding heavy and accepting it well ⸻ 🌱 The Big Comparison — Two Different Timelines 🌱 Plant A — 12/12 From Seed • Shorter (~90 cm) • More compact • Earlier flower maturity • Faster transition 👉 This one is ahead in flower development ⸻ 🌱 Plant B — 2 Weeks Veg (Studio Plant) • Taller (~120 cm) • More branching • More sites • Slight delay in flower maturity 👉 Still building structure + stretching slightly longer ⸻ ⚖️ Why This Difference Happens It’s simple but powerful: 👉 Time in vegetative state = structural foundation • Plant B had more time to: • Build roots • Create branches • Store energy So: • More size • More sites • But slightly delayed flowering Meanwhile: • Plant A went straight into reproduction mode 👉 Faster flowering, less structure ⸻ 🔮 What to Expect Next 🌱 12/12 From Seed Plant • Faster ripening • Smaller but denser buds • Likely earlier harvest • More uniform structure ⸻ 🌱 2 Weeks Veg Plant • Bigger colas • More yield potential • Slightly longer flowering time • Possibly more variation between buds ⸻ ⚠️ What NOT to Expect (yet) • No cloudy/amber trichomes yet • No final swelling • No terpene peak yet 👉 That comes later (weeks 6–8+) ⸻ 🙏 Closing — From Grower to Growers To everyone following this journey: • The OGs • The new ones • The silent watchers • The ones asking questions • Even the critics This is for all of you. To the sponsors, the genetics, the tools, the platform… To the environment, to the process… To the ups, the downs, and everything in between. And to the plants themselves 🌱 — because at the end of the day, they do the real work. ⸻ This week is special. You can feel it: 👉 The shift 👉 The momentum 👉 The promise of what’s coming And we’re just getting started. 📡 DELETED @ 1K Please stay tuned.we never quit https://www.youtube.com/@TheDogDoctorOfficial NEW 🙏 Thank you for your patience and continued support. Photography is part of the story — it’s how we share the fine textures, the glow, and the quiet details that words can’t always capture. I’ve also started experimenting with photo stacking — a technique where multiple images, each taken at a slightly different focus point, are layered together to create one perfectly sharp image from front to back. It’s not digital enhancement or AI; it’s pure photography — a way to reveal the plant’s beauty in microscopic depth, from trichome to petal. You’ll even see a few shots of "ghost me" capturing the shots — camera, lens, setup — because every grow deserves not just to be cultivated, but documented like art.
