Week 18 for Gelato 41 by seedstockers She's just becoming a monster... i know i went through a period of barely feeding her... well this week she's been fed 5-7L of water plus heavy heavy sprays every night😂 so a bit of a change up she doesn't seem phased either way. Im a little worried when it comes to flowering because she barely/never gets wind & her branches aren't very strong. Which is one of the reasons I spray them heavy every evening to build some strength. She also needs a nice defoliation again to keep PM away + also need to start thinking about giving her flower dry amendments top feed because i think she's partly going into flower because of the shade.

The tallest pheno is ready and being flushed for a couple of days now, rhe others are close but still consuming nutrients at a strong rate , I think they will take at least 1 more week. They smell very much like gelato as a group but are all very different from one another .

I love this girl. She grows tall and fast. Super easy grow so far. Just starting to lst her a little bit more. Posted 4 videos on how I make my tea. I use this When I start seeing hairs until the last 2 weeks. Then I flush Just a compost tea you see here.

Everything normal. Decided to do a heavy deleafing at day 19. Slowly upping boosters. Added photos for each day until today. (Day 21) Can someone tell me how to add photos for the relevant week only? For some reason all my photos seem to be in one album? Video added 😊

Day 60 flower on the two most developed. Should be right about done by now, but as you can see nute burn has been a pain lately. Anxious to find out how much longer they'll need to mature. Buds on the smallest one with the fattest flowers look thick, but they are waay too fluffy compared to the other equally developed plant. I have only fed twice the last 10 days, to try to combat the nute problem. Thinking I should go down from half dose to 1/3 the rest of flowering, with a bit more normal feeding frequency, to avoid starving them in these last couple/few weeks. Second video is of a small bud I cut off low on the smallest plant. Not mature at all, but it still blew me away. The high was wonderfully balanced. Most of all the taste, was incredible. Even after I dried it for 6 hours on my heating radiator on top of cardboard. Makes me think of how insane it will be when matured, dried and cured like it is supposed to. Just hoping it will fatten up a bit, at least the pistils are starting to come along.

NOTES: Keeping EC at around 1,5 and pH at 6,0-6,2. Everything looks great and I'm hoping for amazing crop to start the year with! One Ayahuasca Purple seems to be clearly ahead of others in flowering but that's fine. I'm going to harvest them all at the same time so I'll have a few different terpene profiles on the finished product, since they are all grown from seeds and not from clones. Day78 (2.1.) Day79 (3.1.) Light defoliation to reveal more bud sites and to remove some lower growth that aren't getting any light. Day80 (4.1.) At last I've finished defoliating and pruning for all my plants. I think there is no need to remove anything before harvesting them. It took a hell lot of time to finish since I have 13 plants pretty close to each other that I can't move separetly. Also using garden-ties to bend some plants a bit for better light coverage. Day81 (5.1.) Day82 (6.1.) Tied some more branches for better light coverage. Day83 (7.1.) Day84 (8.1.) I found a hermaphodite/bi-sexual plant! Strain was Kush Mintz and I haven't seen any signs on other plants. Keeping close eye on everything, hopefully I got it removed on time... I cut it off after analyzing the situation and hang it to dry in another room. It was clearly the smallest plant even though it seemed to flower just fine till this day when I found out those small banana-like pollen sacks. I'm praying this won't ruin my entire crop.🙏 Added a couple pics after removing it from the tent.

Had to chop a little early and have been pressed for time did a rough wet trim will tidy up later . Didn't do a wet weight just didn't have the time plus I would rather just get the final weight and not be guessing all week if this 4 or 5 time less dry.

What to say about this week? For starters LST was started this week. Initially I used garden ties but soon after replaced them with 6” garden staples . 2 of the 6 girls began throwing pistals resulting from the LST starting around day 15 YIKES 😬. The Zkittlez & the Runtz both from (Expert Seeds ) began giving the 5x5 its first smells . The LST so far has been a pleasure no ooosy daisies so far & the girls are showing what they are made of . The secondary shoots have great potential to form a nice round bush that I can train out into an even-as-possible canopy . Today is day 21 & day 20 for this bunch . They are only using Gaia Green dry amendments for feedings but I decided to take some advice given to another grower & supplement my girls with some compost tea . NO I DONT THINK THEY NEED ANYTHING ADDITIONALLY IM REALLY HAPPY SO FAR WITH MY NUTES bbbbuuuuuttttttt in the short chance that my ladies may take a liking to an occasional tea & reward my pampering with large , long , frosty, stacked cola’s . . Thennnn I’m supplementing , I consider this all “4-play” for my ladies Ik a giver 🤷‍♀️😭 My only concerns are racing against this clock to get as much size & solid structure before flowering sets in I’ve really got my heart set on a certain outcome & I’m one for a good challenge. Finally , atleast as much as I can remember, I increased the dimmer knob on the light from 65% to about 78%. I won’t increase the watts any higher until bloom sets in fully & at that point I’ll be turning it to 100% raising it a maybe 6 inches & watching patiently for my girls to start praying 🙏 to it . Week 3 in the books !

Week 10 - The Plants has shown so much growth within a week those buds are really now starting to form and pack on a scent. I have cut out using the formulex.

Last week of flowering and will be cut !!! Very well formed by dense heads along the branches. I just cut one top of the plant and it gave very good results! I smell the fruit! I have made some flush due to nutrients that i gave during flowering...💪

The plants seem to have recovered from nute lockout in week 6-7. The sour looks to be finishing soon waiting on mircoscope to look at trichomes. The sour is getting frosty with a strong lemon/ pin/citrus smell! Thumbs up to @Dinafem 👍 great genetics. The BCN Critical is a beast very resistant! The plant is about 4ft tall, healthy, growing slower then the sour probably because of the size. Exactly what was advertised👌 @seedstockers, can't wait to see how these girl smoke.

Looking like 3 more weeks until harvest. I’m going to start flushing in about 10-12 days

Day 79: Second Grow We've decided against using additional nutrients and have completely stopped fertilizing. The light cycle has been reduced to 11 hours, and we're already starting to give them cooler water. Starting Monday, I will be watering with ice water to stress the plants further, aiming for higher yield, more terpenes, and increased frost. The adjustment to the light cycle should also help the plants ripen evenly. The lights are hanging about 20 cm above the buds, which are getting thicker every day, soaking up the light intensely. In about a week, most of the plants should be ready for harvest. We plan to stop watering them for about 100 hours before harvest. During this period, I'll place ice cubes on the soil to shock the roots one last time. 48 hours before harvest, I will turn off the lights, giving the plants two days of darkness. After this period, the plants will be cut and hung to dry.

Every other Day some Calmag... a little bittle topDress yesterday. Pipi´s thoughts are this is girl vegged 9 Weeks and is in an 8 Liter fabric Pot. Couldn´t transplant her, but Topped and trained her. So i want Biggie Buddies, so since she´s in Flower week 3/4 that´s my last Chance to enrich the soil with dry nutrients for them to dissolve mostly and i can 'flush'. So i wanna feed her more than the 8 Litres could hold, but carefully and step by step. And just a little. No Pipi was used on this plant.

Bonjour à tous les padawans et les maîtres jedis Cette plante est vraiment exceptionnelle! Elle représente la force et j'en suis fier 😍 La semaine 4 est déjà la ! Ma plante est saine le LST ce passe relativement bien je l'ajuste tout les jour je le combine avec la technique du pincage d'Apex cela me permettra d'avoir une canopé plus homogène donc une meilleure pénétration lumineuse et par conséquent un meilleur rendement. Le pinçage est une pratique courante en horticulture. Beaucoup de cultivateurs l'utilisent pour améliorer le rendement de leurs plantations cannabiques ou autres. Il est souvent question de 'taille' des bourgeons apicaux. Cette taille se pratique également mais il n'est plus alors, à proprement parler, question de pinçage. A l'instar d'une taille, le pinçage va permettre de stimuler le développement des ramifications tout en préservant les sommités en vue de la floraison. Il est très utile pour uniformiser une canopée. Pour réaliser le pinçage, il vous suffit de presser 'fermement' la tige [entre le pouce et l'index] aux environs de l'apex jusqu'à sentir un léger 'crAck'. Cela aura pour résultat d'endommager les vaisseaux impliqués dans la circulation de la sève [situés dans le pourtour de la tige], la tige conserve toutefois une certaine rigidité. Pour obtenir le même résultat, il est également possible de vriller légèrement la tige sur elle-même. L'interruption du circuit d'alimentation entre le ou les apex et le reste du plant va provoquer un déséquilibre hormonal qui aura pour conséquence le développement des ramifications antérieures au point de pinçage. Jour 25 j'arrose mon pot normalement avec un quart de son volume en eau toujours avec un PH de 6.3 à cette eau j'ajoute 0.7 gramme de greenhouse feeding enhancer pour favoriser son développement racinaire. Par la suite je n'aurai plus qu'à ajuster mon LST jusqu'au stretch et surveiller mon arrosage, Je pincerai mes apex suivant la pousse de la plante pour uniformiser la canopé. Petit rappel de ce que est le LST et comment le pratiquer le plus efficacement possible: Quand commencer à appliquer la technique LST De nombreux cultivateurs commencent la manipulation dés que les plantes possèdent entre 3 et 6 nœuds ou une paire de feuilles. Durant cette première étape de la croissance, le tronc encore flexible est pliable sans risque qu’il ne se casse, même si au fur et à mesure du développement de la plante il sera de plus en plus difficile de le plier. Nous pouvons continuer à guider la croissance des branches durant toute la culture, même durant la floraison, ce qui pour cette étape représente un grand avantage face à la taille, qui n’est pas du tout recommandé une fois que la formation des têtes commence, cela stressera en effet la plante, ce qui aura pour effet de retarder la récolte. Comment appliquer la technique de guidage LST Si nous sommes prudents, la flexibilité naturelle des fibres du cannabis permet de plier leur tronc et branches avec une relative facilitée, même durant la floraison des plantes. En utilisant une corde fine, nous pouvons accrocher la pointe de la plante à la base du pot par exemple ou à un tuteur que nous aurons planté dans le substrat. Nous plierons le tronc avec précaution et nous le fixerons avec la corde, à partir de là, nous pouvons augmenter progressivement la tension de la corde, chaque jour un peu plus, jusqu’à obtenir la position souhaitée. Soyez attentif à la réaction de la plante, essayez de ne pas appliquer trop de pression sur la corde et rappelez-vous que la flexibilité des branches peut varier d’une plante à l’autre. Pour obtenir de meilleurs résultats, il suffit de suivre quelques règles simples. Pour commencer, nous devons choisir une corde fine mais pas trop pour ne pas blesser les troncs au fur et à mesure qu’ils grandissent et qu’ils deviennent plus gros. Nous pouvons utiliser des crochets en plastique souple ou de n’importe quelle autre matière flexible pour éviter d’endommager les plantes. Spécialement en intérieur, utiliser des cordons en plastique de couleur (voir les diaries de @Silky) est très pratique pour voir facilement les accroches et faciliter le travail au milieu du réseau formés par les cordes, les tuteurs, les mailles ou les supports que nous aurons dans la culture. Bien entendu, en culture extérieure et surtout en guerilla nous ferons juste le contraire et nous utiliserons des matériaux de couleur qui n’attirent pas l’attention pour que notre jardin reste discret. Pour stresser les plantes au minimum, la mieux est de réaliser ces manipulations le soir ou juste après que les lampes en intérieur s’éteignent, ce qui leur permettra de se remettre durant la nuit. Normalement, le jour suivant nous pourrons observer comme les pointes des branches que nous avons pliées se dressent de nouveau vers le haut à la recherche d’une source de lumière. Je combine un pincage d'Apex (explications plus haut) au LST cela me permettra d'avoir une canopé plus homogène donc une meilleure pénétration lumineuse et par conséquent un meilleur rendement. All fed and took water well this week no issues

Week 1 (31-1 to 6-2) As for my waterings, i give RO water, with 0.50 grams of Calcium, and 0.2 ml of Atami Rootbastic a liter. Growdiaries wont let me put my nutrients in grams so i'm forced to choose mililiters. 31-1 Watering: 20 ml. They are stretching quite a bit. I turned on the fan on the lowest setting for some air movement. 1-2 Watering: 20 ml. 2-2 Watering: 20 ml. 3-2 Watering: 20 ml. Heights: Kush#1: 9cm Kush#2: 7.5cm 4-2 Watering: 40 ml. I attached a wire to the Kush#1 for extra stability as it was a bit fragile in combination with the fan. 5-2 Watering: 20 ml. 6-2 Watering: 60 ml. Heights: Kush#1: 10cm Kush#2: 8.5cm
