Great tent

Muy buenas amigos!!! Como veis, vamos a comenzar el seguimiento de la Gelato Auto de Fastbuds. Nunca hemos cultivado autos y esperemos que nuestra primera experiencia sea aceptable para realizar un buen testeo. Según lo que tengo entendido, este banco tiene una de las genéticas más potentes dentro del mundo de la auto. En nuestro caso hemos elegido Gelato porque es una variedad que nunca hemos probado y nos llama mucho la atención, además de ser una de las variedades más potentes de este banco. En primer lugar, hemos colocamos una servilleta de papel de cocina húmeda en un tupper y hemos puesto las semas encima, con sus respectivas etiquetas para identificarlas, centrándonos en la Gelato (el papel debe estar siempre húmedo pero no llegar a encharcarse). Luego ya podemos colocarle otra capa de papel húmedo por encima de las semas para que mantenga mejor la temperatura y la humedad. Cuando tenemos las semas recubiertas del papel y colocadas en el tupper podemos cerrar este y dejarlo en un sitio con una temperatura entre 20 y 26 grados y a oscuras. A los tres días han germinado todas las semas perfectamente y confirmamos la efectividad de este banco 6/6. Aunque nosotros nos vamos a centrar como habíamos dicho en la Gelato. Decir que solamente nos hemos encargado de mantener el papel húmedo pulverizando cuando era necesario, y de colocar el tupper en un sitio cálido en total oscuridad. De lo demás se ha encargado el método del papel que nunca falla y la calidad de la genética... El último paso de esta semana lo hemos finalizado con el trasplante de las semas a los jiffys. Hay que tener mucho cuidado a la hora de manipular las semas, intentad tocar lo menos posible la radícula o raíz, ya que estas son muy delicadas y pueden coger cualquier infección o ser dañadas. Una vez colocadas en los jiffys hemos regado un poquito y a esperar con paciencia que salga... A lot more happening this week! As shown in the pics, and as suspected, I have a manganese deficiency. I've been keeping my pH level at 6.2 in coco, manganese is taken up best by the plant below 6.0 pH. Dropping my ph level to 5.8 pH, and flushing with lower pH, hopefully it will solve the issue over the course of a few days. I made a new frame for a SCROG, with a "custom bend" in the CPVC pipe on both ends. The bend will allow me to take advantage of the slack material in the sides of my 4x4 tent. I'd previously taken 4" out of all the upright poles to shorten the tent so it would fit in the room due to low ceilings, meaning I had extra slack in my tent walls. The bend in the net frame pushes the sides of the tent out to 5 foot wide. My first SCROG net was a 6" mesh from Amazon, immediately knew I wanted a smaller mesh. Next time around I built my own with a 4" mesh and used the 4" for several grows. This time I decided to go with an even smaller, 3" mesh, and already I like it better. I don't really see myself going much smaller than 3" mesh though. It seems to work well, and any smaller and it may be too tight trying to work the plant through the opening sometimes, which if not careful, will damage the plant. I usually use a & gal cloth pot, grow off rules stated we 0had to use a 5 gal pot. Seeing as I only had 7 gal on hand, I was stuck picking up a Root Farm 5 gal cloth pot locally, as you can see, the roots didn't really stay contained, nor did they "air prune", i had to tear them off before installing the net above. On the last day of week 6 I finally got my net installed, and the plant SCROGged. I should have put the net in place a week or two earlier, it would have been easier to manipulate the plant, however the plant will still have a week to recover. I tie the net in place above the plant, and slowly lower it down, as I bend and super crop the main stalk over parallel to the net, and work all the branches underneath and spread them out. As the plant grows I'll continue to push branches back down through the net and moving them out to the next hole. This will greatly increase yields by allowing light to more bud sites, keeping all buds the same height and thus the same distance from the light. small budsites on a vertical branch, will transform into their own cola once the branch is laid on its side. Instead of a Christmas tree type of plant, with one large main cola, and smaller and smaller buds as you move further down the plant, you end up with a bunch of colas that are all close to the same size, and more importantly, the same level of maturity. The SCROG method, combined with super cropping, and defoliation has greatly increased my yields. As the plant is getting worked into the net, I'll defoliate where necessary, ie a huge fan leaf covering bud sites, however for the next several weeks I'll be defoliating so mush every night or two, systematically trimming off all fan leaves, and stripping everything below the net, and any small bud sites that wont produce well. Usually by the time I'm half way through the flower stage there are no big fan leaves left to be found. It helps with light penetration, which results in a higher quality, higher quantity yield, as well as airflow, which will help prevent White Powdery Mildew and other molds etc. Once a fan leaf is 14 days old, its ability to photosynthesize light, starts to degrade. Once it reaches a certain point, the leaf drains more energy from the plant, than it's giving the plant. My best yields have been from heavily defoliated plants, my last grow I couldn't physically defoliate quite as heavily as usual, and I ended up about 25-30% less bud than expected

I absolutely love to watch them grow! Especially that moment they hit their first growth spurt. I started with RO water that is remineralized for drinking purposes. The ppm is only 18! My tap is 156! So considering they don’t need much water, I’ve been stealing some of our drinking water. The RO water starts at pH of 7. After I add the nutrients, ppm of 249 @ pH of 5.8 while soil is still sweet @ pH of 7 I think my days are off as a new week begins on the last day of the previous week. I am going to leave that for consistency. 04/21 - Noticing some possible nutrient issues with the Fruity Pebbles for several days now. Going to see what she needs. Up front I’m thinking maybe just a super small amount of Amino Acids with a little Epsom Salt. Maybe she is struggling to access the nitrates from the neem cake. IF it’s a issues with nitrogen. We will see. Maybe she would benefit from some extra calcium?… Any ideas are greatly appreciated. Day 22 and I am noticing how these girls have been burning up a lot of potassium lately, dealing with the wind and sun 💨 ☀️, getting pushed around all day. I plant to top dress with some Kelp Meal pretty soon. Day 24 -> 4/22/22- a quote from the weather on today’s red flag warning and dust storm warning. “ HAZARD...Less than a quarter mile visibility with damaging wind in excess of 60 mph. SOURCE...Satellite imagery. IMPACT...Dangerous life-threatening travel.” I’m keeping the girls inside today. Day 26, I was planning to check the runoff on some of these girls, especially the fruity pebbles, however I messed that up as I also top dressed WAY too much of the seaweed bliss. So I flushed with plain RO water at pH of 7 until there was only slight coloration in the runoff. I didn’t check the runoff as a lot has changed with all that flushing. So next watering/feeding I will make sure I check the runoff on multiple plants. So the seaweed bliss with its 17 on potassium, seems to be the most likely culprit for why there is a bronze-ish color on the inside of the new growth. Hopefully a foliar feed of Epsom salts can correct the problem. Inside tent, lights on LOW. Noticing similar pattern in all of them to a degree, most noticeable in the fruity pebbles.

I feel sorry for my plans this 2 weeks I haven't been able to look after them properly I've been working long shift with Christmas approaching there's no time for anything so I was pushing in a lot of nutrients into them and I caused a nutrients lockout .I have flush them out with just clean water at the right pH 6.5 and they are responding very well from now on I will continue to Baby them so they gave the best result possible within the circumstances of the plants. Continue with the LST this week, I had a small problem when I was tying up the plant, one of the biggest fan leaves was cut, nothing bad, but still unnecessary DAY 45 - Water PH - 5.89 PPM- 576 Solution Temp - 21.8 Watering Volume - 3.1L DAY 48 - Nutes PH - 5.93 PPM- 1940 Solution Temp - 21 Watering Volume - 3L Foliar Spray PH - 5.96 PPM- 227 Solution Temp - 19.6 Watering Volume - 100 mL

Wow I am amazed at the growth in the last week. I did end up losing the one grease gun but I started a new seed and so far it is off to the races. This past week I have been running the rhize veg along with hygroben hygrozyme and hyshield. Plants are loving it! So tomorrow I am topping two and going to leave two just to see the difference in growth. All plants are attached to the same reservoir so they all have access to the same nutrients solution! I also have some exciting news I am getting a UVA light for this grow so I am really excited it should be here this week!

My only problem this run was a nitrogen deficiency, 5 gallon pots 2 plants this big is was hard to plan ahead for nutrients when ur running 100% organics (trying at least) so I grabbed some 10 gallon pots and I'm switching to LED next run this is going to be excited after 10 years I'm hanging up my HPS I'm going to miss her it's like old habits die hard but seeing the nana glue stacked and happy with a low end one I can't imagine the possibilitys

So we are 8 weeks +1 day here now, around 8 days into flush and 6 days away from chop. I’m guna cut these at 9weeks so they will probably get another 2/3 heavy waters and then 48hours of darkness. Really starting to pack on weight now I had to support all branches as much as I could with bamboo and garden ties. I sampled a bud I took when I first started flush at around 7 weeks and it was so smooth and creamy. Real nice fruity and zesty taste to it. Smelled of fresh lemons with a hint of grapefruit. High wasn’t heavy as expected being so early but certainly felt a relaxation effect 1 hour after smoke so really excited for finished product. Just counting down the days now!!

Ok couple days into week 10 second week of flower I may have mixed a little stronger as getting too burn so on last feed used some clear and oh water turned light down to 600 watt also changed bulb to hps also tops looking yellow but might be just me also Atco stray of week 10 I trimmed a lot of leaf and unwanted branch’s off so will see how the year like it next feed will be half strength I think try that still on feed water schedule added another bag of co2 not sure why but whatever I also keep bending through the netting

Been feeding just water ready for the chop. Some of them have all brown pistils and have pretty much stopped all together. The kalimist indica pheno is still flowering so I'll let it go until it looks ripe 👍

Had an awesome visit from Sebastian and Chubbs from 420fastbuds! They really seemed to like the smell of these ladies right here. It was an absolute pleasure.
