Just letting it grow naturally until it hits week two. This is probably the most boring stage of cannabis cultivation for me, but it’s also one of the most important. (Even my weed plant has a gold chain lol, probably an inside joke my brother only understands)

This week I inoculated the room leaves and plants with Neoseiulus cucumeris, I have had minor thrip problems all summer, Usually I use lady bugs to combat them but none have been available this year. I inoculated the plants by shaking the bottle full of Cucumeris and bran over the leaves. I will do this a few times before pre flowers show. Cucmeris are predatory mites that eat the thrip larvae. And are supposed to work for spider mites as well. I added the scrog nets to the room and began training the plants through them. I then flipped the lights over to 12 and Initiated pre flower. All vegetative growth was very vigorous. The goal of this grow is to do a preliminary test to begin to determine if Mycelium provides any additional benefits to Cannabis when allowed to colonize in super soil before being added to bottom layer of the pot. The Process: 1) 8 weeks Prior to Germination Super Soil is mixed (see super Sub cools super soil recipe further down the page) and added to spinning two part composter, water is added and the super soil mix is allowed to break down for a week. 2) 7 weeks Prior To germination 1L of colonized mycelium is added to each side of composter. Mycelium is now allowed to colonize the super soil. 3) After 8 weeks total the Mycelium has had enough time to colonize throughout the super soil mix and is ready to be added to the bottom 1/3rd of the pots. Slight nute burn this week! Did a heavy defoliation and now I’m low on fan leaves. Any thoughts?

Day 8: Woke up and checked on the ladies, they were bone dry. Hit em with 70 ml of AN Coco Grow diluted in my mix. Day 9: Got the new lights in today and hooked up. Girls are looking pretty good I think. Still letting em dry out a little. Gonna add a shot of Great White on next water. No nutes will be in this shot. Day 10: Still looking good. Had to stack some loose Coco around a couple as they had a good stretch going and were leaning pretty good. Also noticed a couple of brown spots on the leaves. I am led to believe after asking questions and researching, it is more than likely nute burn? No more nutes for these girls for a while. I also got a humidifier to raise humidity as it was pretty low. Day 11: These girls almost double in size every day! They would probably be a little bigger if I hadn't of tried to give em a drink of nutes earlier on! Lesson learned!! Not bad for 6 days out of the ground regardless though, I think. Got a humidifier in the tent and it stays around 50% now. Other than last night it got up to 73%. I need to get that fixed. Day 12: Nothing new to update other than they look healthy. Think I am gonna let them dry out a touch more before watering. Day 13: Gave the girls 1 cup of ph 6.0 water this morning. Thermostat battery went out and lucky my girl caught it in time. Temp got to 86° for a couple of hours. Opened the tent for an hour to get the temp back down. Humidity has been hovering around 50% for the most part. Minor fluctuations here and there. Girls are looking good for 8 days out of the earth though!! 💪 Day 14: Looking like they need another drink, dry down to around 1" deep. Gave em 2.25 cups with super diluted Coco Grow and a touch of Great White. 😳 They are doing great! 👍 Looking forward to see what week 3 has in store! Going to build a support to add my 2 CREE lights back in along with the Mars lights.

No issues with these girls so far. I went ahead and LST both of them and spread them out. I got to keep them shorter then 24 inches. I haven't decided if I should defoliate...... they are looking a little bushy but for now I would rather not stress them. Light penetration is still very good with the top and side lighting. Maybe I will change my mind as the next week progresses. They are just starting to flower on day 22. (Day 1 of week 4) so they just got there last dose of Gold Shield Silica. Temps have been pretty good. It got 86F the other day but I opened it up before they got too hot, average day temps have been 75-82F

Week 4 in the books. She started throwing pistils this week. Cruising along and handling the training like a champ. She's drinking about a cup of water daily and her roots are thriving in the runoff caught in the 2nd cup, which gets dumped before each new watering. Strong structure and starting to get a little smell. She smelled like celery leaves up to this point. I've raised her closer to the light to increase light intensity.

Week 10: 29.03.2026 - 01.04.2026

Saw first amber trichomes today and im sure there are more that i missed. But I feel they are behind, keeping eye and will most likely be a few more weeks.

Big defoliation, the amount of nodes that sprout on this genetic is craZY, i dig it! Just quite a bit of maintenance! Taken 2 clones - these clones will be grown out, one crossed with a FastBuds - Gorilla Cookies AUTO for a "fast" cross!!! The other, might be selfed or if i find a male of value, crossed with BBQ C GPP or Ethiopian landrace for a new "F1"!
