Fo' Twenny Back with another update on our "Grandaddy Purple" from Blimburn Seeds! 8/24: I did some selective defoliation to help increase light penetration. Next watering will be a flush with 2 tsp/gal of Fox Farm's flush agent SledgeHammer. A flush is recommended after week 3 in the Fox Farm Feeding chart. I figure the recommended flush will do some good considering I have a lot of coco in the mix and there are small amounts of salt fertilizer in my schedule. She is really starting to do some stretching and she has an abundance of growing shoots. She has a few leaves that look textured or "crinkled". I tried doing some searches and not sure if this is due to a virus or some other factor. She is center in the tent and the only plant being grown in a fabric pot. She has also been vegging longer than any of the other plants in the garden. She was a survivor from previous run when I almost killed all my plants (did kill one) trying to kill so spider mites. This is the only plant presenting these abnormalities. I gave a lot of detail about the abnormal leaves because I am hoping someone may be able to help me troubleshoot. 8/28: Flushed the medium with tap H2O run through 2 KDF filters with 2 tsp/gal of Fox Farm Sledgehammer flushing agent and pH adjusted to 6.2. I started by giving 5 gallons. After checking the PPM of the runoff I ended up adding 5 more gallons mixed to same specifications. 10 gallons total was shared by 3 large flowering photoperiod cultivars and 1 smaller autoflower. She probably ended up with about 3 gallons give or take. I didn't measure how much each plant received. I just kept flushing each and checking runoff until it was under 1600 ppm. Semana tranquila, en este último día se cambiará la solución nutritiva, y con la nueva probaré a meter H2O2 y ver si ayuda a mejorar la calidad del agua, ya que después de 7 días encuentro un poco de babosadas en las mangueras de aireación dentro del contenedor máster. Al paso que van creo que una grow de 1,2 x 1,2 queda chica para 4 plantas, o sea empieza a resultar incómoda para hacer controles y todo el resto. Acabo de cambiar la solución nutritiva, e notado que podría haber estado 1 semana más, pero la cambio cada 2 semanas, ya que mi maestro dice que cada semana, pero a mi me da pena desperdiciar tanta agua y nutrientes... 🙏

Devil cream Auto is growing tall and Healthy, I'm excited to see the final height as it's already standing at 2ft5 before the big stretch, this round of grow has been the tallest I've had grow indoors. I would be tickled pink to have it turn out to be a 5 foot plant in my current space

Day 28: On day 21 until day 24 i switched the light schedule to 7-1 and i did not give them water at all. On day 24 i topped the soil with dr jimz organic nuts along with watering with dr jimz soup for the soil mix. i put a trellis net up however i have not actually used it yet. Also on day 24 i changed the lights back to a 6-2 schedule. I am letting them kind of do there own thing trying not to bother them much unless needed and I am however having problems with one of the plants a pic of it up top. It is growing however its just clawing the whole time and i dont know what to do or how to fix it so any advice would help because i really dont want to toss it. AUGUST 10 to 16, 2024 Specimen continues to grow vigorously, gaining another 12cm (4.75") in height. Pistils now being pushed out in many locations. Plant receives 14:26 of daylight as sunrise is 06:49 and sunset is 21:15. Fungus gnat presence has multiplied, so effort put to dry out medium and layers of Diatomaceous Earth applied on two occasions. Watered in with Bacillus Thuringiensis Israelensis (delivered via Mosquito Dunks soaked in rainwater for 24 hours) in effort to combat and destroy larvae. Based on development to date, not expecting to harvest specimen until the week of October 14, 2024. Day 106 - Applied 2.0L of Full Spectrum Soil Drench (Flowering Formula), pH'd to 6.7; Solution prepared with rainwater treated with Bacillus Thuringiensis Israelensis; 500mL bottom watered with plain rainwater. Sprayed soil surface thoroughly with approximately 1L of Soil Pest Defense Drench. Day 107 - Applied layer of Diatomaceous Earth to combat Fungus Gnats Day 108 - n/a Day 109 - n/a Day 110 - 1.5L bottom water with plain rainwater in the morning, another 1L bottom water in the late afternoon. Day 111 - Applied layer of Diatomaceous Earth to combat Fungus Gnats Day 112 - n/a

going strong still, shown a slight def of K on the lower leaves so have increased organic PK 4-8 and stopped Magnecal. Switched back to bloom on last watering. So the 1ml/l organic pk was with 2.5ltr of RO water and then after i did the bloom watering 0.5ml/l with 2.5ltr

The purple punch x dos-si-dos are keepers for sure, they got such amazing tropical smell:) Only downside is that i have 1 pheno that is a bit ahead of her sisters:( The Diesel dipped coockies packed some size last week:) And the nuggs damn they are so dense it Just doesn't make sense;) The glookies are still stacking💪 quite a good yielding strain im asuming. Nice Lemon smell on these

Scrog Is up & almost finished veg last week I presume . Friday I will flip to 12 12 even with the autoflower I've read there isn't a difference.

and another week has passed. she is developing very well. she tolerated the FIMing very well and she is getting really bushy. i have changed the fertiliser from biobizz-grow to biobizz-fishmix.

We had some unwanted excitement this week when I had a tent malfunction. My humidity got up to 100%, everything in the tent was soaked, and the fan was not on. Luckily, it was only that way for a couple of hours, but it was enough to do some damage to the leaves where the water was standing. After I got that sorted out and the humidity back down, I sprayed everything with some lost coast plant therapy and turned off the lights. The basil actually showed the most damage because it was the closest to the light. Quite a few of its leaves got fried. Continuing on the lost coast every week or so for the duration, I’m terrified of PM again. In the meantime, until I can afford an AC Infinity humidifier, I’m just turning this one off. It seems to be a bit too unpredictable.
