got bitten by a spider and realized i was always wondering what my spiritual animal was, and realized it was spiders after that awakening of asking mother natures help me and spiders made a blood pack and since then nature has been helping me out by protecting my plants, from thieves and bad rotten people. and nature gave me spiders to protect my children. one of my spiders thats protecting the rooibaard is called GREGGK.

Nové větve hezky vyrostly. Dám jim ještě 2 týdny a potom bych rád přepnul světlo na 12/12 Na rostlinách se objevují lehké náznaky popálení živinami. Některé listy mají hnědé konečky ale opravdu jen v malé míře D51 Pondělí: Použil jsme LST abych udržel rostliny v jedné výšce. Během LST mi z 50% praskla 2 větve u HazeBerry 2 ve spoji po posledním zastřižení . Jedna větev je v pořádku. Druhá po 3 dnech vypadá že přežije i když vypadala velmi špatně. Holky dostaly 1L vody s 0,5ml/1l RQS Booster Bigger Flowers. D54 Čtvrtek: Poslední velké LST a Defoliace, kdy jsem z každé rostliny odstranil celkem 16 spodních listů D55 Pátek: Dostaly 1,5L vody s vypsanými živinami Holky jsem postříkal výluhem z hmyzího trusu, který má repelentní účinky téměř na vše.

10/27 - Today is technically day 28 since germination. I would normally wait three more days before doing this update, but enough has changed, I figured it warranted documenting it early. Today I did a solution change to half-strength week 3 guidelines per the Dyna-Gro feed schedule from their website. This gave me a ppm of 740 total, including 170 ppm tap (measured using Hanna Primo .5 conversion). This gives me 570ppm (1.14ec) of nutrients. The solution was changed about four hours prior to their nap time (of four hours in length). Shortly after the lights came back on I noticed this discoloration on her roots (as shown above in picture and video). Both ladies in the video were given the exact same solution at the same time and now show noticeably different ppms (Sour Diesel Auto - 770ppm; Amnesia XXL Auto - 720ppm). I'm not sure why they are exhibiting different reactions to the same solution. She doesn't seem to be showing any other negative effects at this point. Root growth is phenomenal and her vegetation has only accelerated since being topped. Just slightly concerned about what to do with the root issue. I have thought about adding Botanicare Hydroguard since the smaller buckets will run slightly warmer in temp. Once they start drinking more, I will bump them up to 5 gallon buckets, but that's not needed at this time. Any advice, questions, or observations are very welcome. This is my first DWC run and first run with Dyna-Gro. Edit: 10/29 - Added 2ml/gal Botanicare Hydroguard as a precaution regarding her potential root issue. Res temps are mid-seventies, so I'd say it's a safe move and some relatively cheap insurance. Edit: 10/31 - PPMs kept increasing up close to 800 from the original 740. Added pH'd water to dilute right close to 700ppm. Would have diluted more, but that was touching the bottom of the net pot. Removed two main fan leaves that were actively shading new growth nodes. Added second Mars Hydro SP150 and raised both to 18" above canopy.

SUNDAY 5/19: I accidentally left my UV timer in the "ON" position all night and half of the next day...fearing sudden death, I have moved everybody that was almost ready into the dark tent, including the biggest Candy Cane and will start harvesting them tomorrow..maximum UVB stress for about 20 hours...if it works out that they are even more potent than expected without turning brown overnight, I'll claim it was "intentional," and purport it as an "advanced technique" 😉 MONDAY: The big one still looks fine after the mega-UVB incident , so she's still sitting in the dark. She I flipped on the green light and went into the tent for a sniff test on everybody. She's got that familiar, wonderful stank on her! 😁 TUESDAY: I harvested the big one today and hung her up to dry in the dark tent. RH is steady at 55% and temp is 78-80f. I decided to start flushing everybody else today, so I put a few gallons through each of them with sledgehammer and bembe. I'll flush them once more after they've dried out. The temps in the big tent are now steady at 82f during daylight hours and 68-70f at night. I changed the lights in the big tent to 20/4 for their last bit of life and added some blue panels to further "winterize" the environment. They are still being hammered by the UVB for 6 hours a day. WEDNESDAY: I took a few photos and harvested some other plants today... THURSDAY: CC#7, the big one, was drying too quickly, so I jarred her in a big jar for the day to slow it down a bit. I'll put her back in the basket tomorrow for another day or so. I also decreased airflow a bit and turned my dehumidifier up to 50%. FRIDAY: I put the big one back in the drying basket in the tent. She had moistened back up really well. Last flush tomorrow on the others. Checked trichs and am seeing up to 25% amber on some of the buds..30-40% should be about right for some truly delicious and crippling smoke. SATURDAY: I took some photos while putting a few gallons of ph adjusted spring water through them today..I'll prolly put them into the dark on Tuesday and kill them on Thursday. Their foliage is burnt up pretty bad due to the massive UVB over-exposure, so I'll have some extra work with the trimming... 😏

14. Juni Mein Mikroskop hat leider den Geist aufgegeben :( daher gibt es leider keine Bilder der trichome. Habe mich dennoch nun dazu entschieden. So langsam fertig zu machen. Beim entlauben ist mir die fragwürdige wachstumsstruktur der Blüten aufgefallen. Hab sie wohl doch schwer traumatisiert durch Training und Umweltbedingungen. Des Weiteren hab ich an manchen Blättern ein paar Eier gefunden. Hatte ich bisher noch nie, bin allerdings noch ein Outdoor newbie im Vergleich zu indoor. Werde sie die kommende Woche noch etwas im hochbeet trocknen lassen, und dann demnächst schneiden. Wirklich ertragreich ist es nicht, aber ich sehe keine Samen. Verbuche ich als Erfolg. War stressig und Richtung Ende habe ich nicht sonderlich viel Aufmerksamkeit schenken können, hat dennoch Spaß gemacht Der Geruch ist absolut bestialisch! Kaum zu überriechen. 16. Juni Hab jetzt mal zwei von drei geschnitten und ins Zelt gehängt. Die letzte darf nochmal eine Woche, da sie sich eine Woche zu spät aus der Erde kam.

Day 7-9: Had a good environment overall, although the light was probably much too high. I didn't realise until quite late that it should have been 60cm above the seedling, and I had it around 120cm at first, and then 80cm. As a result the stem is a bit stringy. Day 9: I lowered the light to 60cm above the plant, and it won't go any lower. the recommended for this light is 30cm above the canopy, according to this very useful article: https://www.growweedeasy.com/how-far-grow-lights, but it's still in seedling stage and I'm guessing the plant will grow up a bit more, and I can always lower a little bit more. Also it's pretty damn hot, so I don't want to overdo it on the lights. I've been keeping the water consistent and just topped up a little on recommended nutrients (more grow, a little micro, adding a little bloom as it comes closer to flowering). The reason for this is because I want to maintain the consistency of environment and monitor the plant for any signs of unwellness. Because Sativas are sensitive to nutrient burn, I'm being conservative in this respect. The temperature with the light lowered is a steady 26 C, and I'm maintaining the humidity at around 70%. This is pretty good for this strain, as a sativa it likes higher temps and humidity. The water pH is around 5.9, also desirable. I've also been wondering if the plant is getting enough CO2. Is it necessary to buy a measurement device and some CO2 bags? Overall the plant seems very happy and is looking healthy. Day 10: cleaned the inside, added more grow, added more clay pellets since she looks a bit thin and stalky and needs extra support, and there were not many pellets present. Light distance is currently around 60cm. Though it won't go any lower with the straps, I will look at lowering it more with some extra rope as the ideal height will eventually be 30cm for this 250W HPS light. Added more Ph buffer yesterday evening and we're currently sitting around 5.7 ph. I was aiming for 5.8 but this is still acceptable. Temperature is around 25 - 26 C, humidity is around 70%, though I will begin lowering this as she grows. I will probably replace the water sometime this week. Upon further investigation I realised that my water levels were too high, and were possibly suffocating the stem. I reduced water levels by a few cm since I had previously been topping up without realising possible damage. I feel like today is the day that this seedling is finally becoming a plant. She has grown some long roots already. Day 11: I further lowered the light to around 40cm using some extra string. It's not super ideal, but for now it's ok. The plant was falling over it's own weight so I added some extra pellets around it for support and it seems to work. I'm hoping she won't stretch as much now that the light is lowered. The inside fan is still on and on full power to build up extra stem strength and keep temperature down. I'm attempting to keep humidity around 60%, a little lower than before. The temperature is significantly higher with the light lowered, easily maintained by periodically opening the door and leaving in cool air from outside which runs just past the intake fan. I'm slightly concerned about the Monstera Deliciosa plant which is sitting just opposite and above the intake fan. Would this have any effects, positive or negative, on the grow? Google is coming back blank on this.

Woche 3 der Blüte ist rum. Insgesamt sind die Ladys jetzt 42 Tage alt. Jede Lady fängt langsam an ihren typischen Geruch zu bekommen. Bei der StrawberryBanana musste ich einen Trieb wegschneiden, da er drei weiße Flecken, zwei davon auf den Blättern und einer auf dem Trieb hatte. Sonst wurden hier und da ein paar Fanleaves entfernt die andere Triebe verdeckt haben. Die GorillaZkittlez hat drei Mainbuds entwickelt und hat die bis jetzt dicksten Buds mit den meisten Trichomen. Unter der Woche habe ich einmal ca 400ml je Lady gegossen. Das zweite mal war an Tag 21F. Hier gab es für jede Lady ca 600ml. Zusätzlich gab es 4g/L BioEnhancer von GreenHouseFeeding, 1ml/L PureZym, 1ml/L PowerRoots von Plagron und 2ml/L StickyFingers von XpertNutrients. Es hätten etwas mehr Sonnenstunden sein können aber da kann man nichts machen. Dafür musste ich nicht so oft gießen und das Substrat hatte eine gut gleichbleibende Feuchtigkeit. The temperatures, humidity, height, and watering volume(if measured) in grow conditions are all averaged for the week. The pH is soil pH. Any watering done by me is well water which is 7.6 pH and 50° F. Any listed nutrients are ml/gallon of soil spread evenly across the top of the soil. Day 1 we had a high temperature of 84°F. We had intermittent storms and showers throughout the day that took care of the watering. Day 2 we had a high temperature of 88°F. We had on and off rain and thunderstorms throughout the day. The rain took care of the watering. These are recovering well from the nuclear defoliation. They also responded well to treatment. Day 3 we had a high temperature of 94°F with clear sunny skies. I watered about 5 gallons from the well. I treated these again with Growers Ally fungicide. The warmer nights, blazing sun, and this fungicide have really cleared up that powdery mildew. They've also decided to go all in on flowering. Day 4 we had a high temperature of 94° with sunny skies. Heat index was over a hundred. It was super hot today. I watered twice about 8 gallons total. Everything looked good after treatment. Day 5 we had a high temperature of 95 and partly cloudy skies. I watered twice about 4-5 gallons each time with well water. Day 6 we had a high temperature of 91°F with partly cloudy skies. I watered twice today 4-5 gallons each pot, each time. Day 7 we had a high temperature of 88°F with sunny skies. I watered 5-6 gallons each pot. This week was a success. The powdery mildew issue has been cleared up. The Growers Ally fungicide worked great. These girls have rooted into the ground through the pots which is helping some of the 100+heat index days. It's hard to keep these pots moist in that kind of heat. Overall it was a great week.

It was finally time to harvest her, what good times we had with her. Amazed with how beautiful this plant is, how easy to manage and train and how rewarding Orange Hill Special is. So we said our thanks and goodbye, thanked her for all the joy she gave while growing her. I realize more and more how I love growing them even more than the end-product. It takes my mind of all going on for a while, in my miniature jungle world in the attic. Im sure all of you just sometimes sit there and watch them, in wonder, dreaming away with a good buzz on, watching them wave in the wind of the fans. So with a heavy hart I apologize, play them their last music, sit with them and feel them and smell them, watch the glistening of the cristals. In the end we had 209 gram dried Orange Hill Special, I will know the total of the grow, in a few days, since the final big whopper still has to dry: my XtraKush, be sure to check the harvest of that one *in couple of days) and see a one-dollar seed outperform two 10 dollar seeds. Great climate, ideal. After careful consideration, valued the considerable size of the plants, the flowering stage and the yellowing of the bottom canopy , I decided to feed one last time with veg nutes at half dose. This will be followed by 2 waterings of water only and then a boost of flowering nutrients. Here we are. It happened overnight, nothing the night before, the next morning there are pistils everywhere. Looking at the structure of the branches , I think they will be monstrous buds. Stay tuned for a monster crop. This beast is insanely hungry of nutes. For now absolutely pests-resistant. Thanks for following, I ❤️ you

Only 1cm vertical growth this week, but she's been pushing out some leaves! She seems happy so far.

They grew really bushy because the light was too intense. Topped them to get more light to the side branches

Well week 19 and week 9 of flower did start Monday 10/11 but because of my delay in update last week I waited a bit to start the week. The smell is freaking AMAZING!!! Got to sample some more cured stuff and I absolutely love it!!! Still bummed the Black Widow never made it but hopefully next time. The mothers are all flushed, the temps are down, the humidity is down. I'm thinking about dimming the light a bit to see if it helps with ripening. In truth, this grow was all an experiment, lol. Mistakes were made but learned from. But the most important thing is I had alot of fun this time around. There was minimal stress/pressure which I believe is a major part in growing. I feel I really connected with the universe with this! My ultimate goal is quality first, then quantity. Quality will always be one of the pillars of life! I can't get a good pic of the trichomes but there's a decent amount of amber and will be ready for harvest on 10/20 🌕 That's pretty much it, just a waiting, lol. Happy growing everyone ✌️🍀✌️
