Shitty week. Fan fell down and broke a few branches on 2 plants. Overall they have recovered well and I hope the yield is not affected. Humidity has gone down. I bought a small dehumidifier - but somehow it's not doing what I'd hoped. I've defoliated a bit as the leaves are overlapping and moisture is accumulating there. NYC Sour D #1: Lost 2 lower branches. No drama, but I felt bad. #2: Still slow growth and very compact. Royal Cookies Auto #1: Still the best strain. The first pistins can be seen. #2: Also good plant. As well first pistins Royal Haze Auto #1: So far ok. No pistins to be seen yet. #2: Has lost a side branch. But it was a somewhat smaller plant anyway. Let's see how it continues. Light settings 50% dimmer at 50 cm distance Between 650and 970 ppfd. Small yellow leaf tips. I think this has more to do with the nutrients than with light stress. I don't add any fertilizer, but I don't have to water much either. I'll be on vacation for 11 days from next Wednesday on - I'll water 2 liters per plant before vacation so that the neighbor doesn't have too much to do. He'd better take care of the ventilation and humidity.

Its clear at this point that Big Lemon is root bound bc i did not transfer her into 7gal w/One Shot. So, this week she is recovering from a calcium deficiency because my (now former) hydro store completely lagged on my 5 gal of Herc. Damn you , ZenHydro!!!! Hence, lots of sacrificed and cooked leaves, but of course the buds are fine 😎.

fed her to much nutrients, just for the next few feeds im going to hold back and give her just spring water. The leaf curling isn't happening on any new growth since. I scraped of the white powdery mildew, waited for the soil to dry and topped the pot back up with fresh soil... and its not returned....yet 🤔😅 I'm not seeing any pre flowers yet, I'm hoping in the next week or so. Day 47. More stretch, leaves are still curling down a little so i stopped the nutrients 2 waterings ago. Any advice is always loved ❤️

Constantly taking leaves off all these girls. Trying to make space for those buds! These are some leafy genetics overall but some are starting to change color nicely for week six of flower! I checked some of the trichomes but they aren't close to ready so I didn't snap any pictures of those. But some good trichomes production from them. Got the UVB 310 in full effect right now at 4 hours. Will be boosting up to six tomorrow and continue to push for the next two weeks.

Hello Growmies, The final chapter of this incredible journey has unfolded, and it's time to share the bountiful harvest and reflections on the entire cultivation process. Trimming the plant was a joy, and with gentle fingers, I removed all the large fan leaves. The precision in this process revealed the true beauty of the buds, setting the stage for a smooth harvest. With care and gratitude, the plant was chopped, and the buds were hung to dry. The anticipation for what lies ahead only adds to the sense of accomplishment. The wet weight, excluding fan leaves, stands at an impressive 782 grams. The buds are massive, a testament to the efficacy of the nutrients used, particularly the Power Buds. The name seems apt, as the result is a collection of sticky, dense buds with subtle lemon notes and sweet pungent undertones. In the final moments, the plant unveiled some delightful purple hues. While I wish I could have allowed them to intensify further, it's a reminder that each grow is a learning experience. In hindsight, a slightly longer fading period would have accentuated those beautiful colors. We live and learn, and that's the essence of this journey. A heartfelt thank you to Plagron and Zamnesia for hosting this amazing contest. The quality of the products and the support throughout the journey have been invaluable. As this chapter concludes, I'm left with a sense of fulfillment and gratitude for the collective experience we've shared. hey guys here with the new release from fastbuds thanks to those guys for the testers . Will be starting as usual in coco ecothrive to be precise pictured above with a pinch of mykos mixed in. To germinate I always make a hole with my little finger to the first knuckle drop the seed in and cover , water very slowly around the edge of the pot until you get runoff like the video shown . Then i put them on a plastic or paper plate onto the heatmat (not directly on it as it dries the media too quick) in a dark place and the longest iv had to wait is 4 days after that as soon as they break the coco I put them under a small 12w led/cfl light (pictured above) 6500k at around 15 cm as this helps build a good root sytem ready for transplant will be on no nutes this week will start on plant start and katana roots next week at this point i have no fan running just the light will add a fan to sturdy her next week. will only get one maybe 2 very small waterings this week depending on how quick the media dries thanks for reading happy growing guys

My other tent that I got full of kannabia plants theses girls seem to love stretching for the light I have a prober sog going on flipped before I ran out of space I forget how much they can stretch during the first 3 weeks

Continue Daily low stress training. Cut all nutrients in half. Added another led light. Cutting back lights to 18 hours. Started to defoliate a small amount(day 30) New growth seems pretty healthy. Few leaves have nutrient burns but not all of them. Checked ph and it was a little high so I got it down to 5.75. Adding 1/2 gallon of distilled water a day to prevent further burn. Day 33 She starting to show some preflower so I did a water change added 1ml of each nutrients (added koolbloom)execpt armor si and hydroguard 1/2 ml each. PPM 325 PH5.8 Humidity 50% Temp 80F Week summary. A few issues with nutrient burn but I think I have found the sweet spot 300PPM. Vegetative growth has slowed down this week and started preflower. She's drinking about a gallon of water a day. I'm a little worried about the height so I might switch to 12/12 lighting. (Small tent height)

06.11.2025 Last week was really busy for me, but it was not because of this beautiful couple of Agent Orange. The male moved to the window and is developing very nice. She, the female Agent, stayed in the tent and went on with her stretch. I took off many leaves and am trying to keep her inner circle exposed to the light. So happy to watch them grow 🌸 09.11.2025 Oh, she is sooo beautiful and yellow (!) flowers are appearing. I'm flashed by her stunning beauty, observing these little yellow spots showing in the centers of her flowers. This is such an surprising effect, that you wouldn't believe it if not seeing it with your own eyes. Impressive! 💜

Week 7, one more week and i will harvest this precious girls, they dont require lot of attention and even slightly less nutrients would have done the trick! I still have 1 of these ladies in veg so i now what to expect and what to do! Great strain, very generous with very little attention, the perfect strain, a very nice sweet smell, it reminds me of candy very sweet, its going to be delicious for sure!

Last week of veg, flipping today, let the flowering begin, started some LST on 68, unfortunately snapped LSD 1 but taped up, continued on more plants on 69.

Day 56. This grow is in the last round and will most likely finish on day 63. Jealousy is pretty cooked, however i finally figured out why the ph dropped so hard. The roots were matted. I poked oxygenchannels with a clean spoon and it helped immediately to actually raise the Ph, however it was already flowerday 52 and it seems, that i can only take this knowledge with me into the next grow. She drinks very little and when she does not drink more, i will harvest her tomorrow at day 58. Lemon Cherry Gelato still going hard and i will change the recipe to p/k booster and calcium only at 1.0 EC. Few days later, i will maybe try Flawless Finish from AN. This is almost it and tbh, Jealousy was a tough experience, since it growing for like four months, but i'm excited for the next run and i think will dial in very good. Its the first run in DWC with the combination of new nutrients. In my next run, i will grow Hindu Kush and the new release of Thin Mint Frosting from Barney's Farm.

This was my favorite plant out the gate and through veg but flower I dunno wuts up with her always having calcium and manganese issues through flower she doing the 3 leaf thing might be when I switched her to this big tent with a bigger light I dunno she's the only one out of the 3 that is growing wonky out of this test

Thank you. Gave her a cocktail to help with stress. Added 1st net for lateral support, not so much now, but for later. Blue light is absorbed by photoreceptor proteins called phototropins, which trigger a hormonal response that causes cells on the shaded side to elongate, making the plant bend toward the light. Try and fill this side a little. She is quite big already, just needs to find her stride again after the undue torture. 5 apex stems with 20-30 mini cola, let them develop a little, with the apical dominance shattered, all those 20-30 will all compete with each other as soon as that stretch is initiated. Key to a good stretch is making sure the plant is cycling efficiently, with large ATP conversions occurring lights out. For now, I'm keeping light intensity high. A plant will slow its vertical growth in very high light intensities, leading to a more compact form with thicker stems and leaves. This response is a protective mechanism against light stress, which can damage the photosynthetic apparatus and lead to symptoms like leaf scorching, yellowing, and brittleness. Instead of growing taller, the plant invests its energy into creating a more robust, stress-tolerant structure. Providing plants with necessary antioxidants helps protect the photosynthetic apparatus by scavenging reactive oxygen species (ROS) that cause damage from excess light. UV light exposure can impact the xanthophyll cycle by either enhancing its photoprotective role or causing damage, depending on the intensity and type of UV radiation. UV exposure can trigger the synthesis of more xanthophyll cycle pigments to increase the plant's capacity to dissipate excess energy, but it can also cause direct damage, particularly to Photosystem II, and may lead to a decrease in the de-epoxidation state (DEPS ratio) which indicates a reduced capacity to dissipate excess energy. Plants can respond to UV stress by increasing the synthesis of xanthophyll cycle pigments, such as violaxanthin and zeaxanthin, to improve their photoprotective capacity. UV-induced changes in xanthophyll cycle pigments can be linked to a plant's overall tolerance to high radiation stress. The xanthophyll cycle helps protect against photoinhibition, which is especially important when the plant is exposed to high levels of both UV and visible light. High doses of UV radiation can directly damage photosynthetic components, including the proteins, lipids, and pigments in the thylakoid membranes. Exposure to UV radiation can have a mixed effect on the de-epoxidation state (DEPS ratio) of the xanthophyll cycle pigments. In some cases, UV can inhibit the conversion of violaxanthin to zeaxanthin, resulting in a lower DEPS ratio and a reduced capacity for energy dissipation. However, the total pool of xanthophyll cycle pigments may increase, and this enhanced pool size could provide a greater potential for photoprotection despite a lower DEPS ratio. The xanthophyll cycle works alongside other mechanisms, such as the accumulation of flavonoids (UV screens), to protect the plant from UV-induced damage. Blue light repairs 100% UV-induced damage in plants through a process called photoreactivation, which uses a light-dependent enzyme called photolyase. This enzyme uses energy from blue and UV-A light to directly reverse the damaging pyrimidine dimers in the DNA caused by UV-B radiation, a key mechanism for maintaining the plant's genetic integrity. After carbon, light, water, temperature, and nutrients, the limiting factor of a plant's growth is often its own internal factors or the amount of a key ingredient. Chlorophyll concentration is one such factor, as the amount of this pigment limits how much light can be captured for photosynthesis. Other factors include chloroplast number, respiration rate, and the concentration of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere, as plants are often in a CO2-deficient condition. 60x60x18=64800seconds x 700 = 45,360,000moles. 45DLI Exposure to 165 µW/cm² of ultraviolet-B (UV-B) light for 3600 seconds = 1 hour, a extremely high, acute dose triggering stress responses and protective mechanisms. . The plant's photoreceptor protein, UVR8, senses the UV-B radiation. This triggers a signaling cascade that activates specific genes to protect the plant from damage. In response to the UV-B signal, the plant ramps up the biosynthesis of protective compounds like flavonoids, phenolic acids, and anthocyanins. These compounds absorb UV radiation and accumulate in the epidermal layers of leaves to shield inner photosynthetic tissues. The plant may increase leaf thickness or deposit more cuticular wax, creating a physical barrier to the radiation. The plant will produce more enzymatic and non-enzymatic antioxidants to neutralize the reactive oxygen species (ROS) produced by the UV-B radiation. The plant activates enzymes, including photolyases, to repair DNA damage caused by the UV-B. These repair mechanisms are critical for preventing permanent genetic mutations. While protective measures are activated, a high dose delivered over a short period can cause stress that overwhelms the plant's defenses. Photosynthesis is highly sensitive to UV-B. A high dose can inactivate Photosystem II (PSII), damage thylakoid membranes within the chloroplasts, and reduce chlorophyll content, which lowers the plant's overall photosynthetic capacity. Despite repair mechanisms, high UV-B doses can inflict persistent damage on the plant's DNA. One study found that acute, high-dose UV-B had a greater effect on genome stability than chronic, low-dose exposure. The overproduction of reactive oxygen species can cause oxidative stress, leading to the oxidation of lipids and proteins and disrupting cellular function.
