Looking good, defoliated a lot and rotated pot

OVERALL: ~ Very happy with the grow, I really dialled everything in well this run. ~ She grew super fast, I put it down to the constant oxygenation of the rootzone along with consistent and constantly optimized light DLI and leaf to air temp variance. The extra Co2 helped push the plant to its limit in terms of heat, allowing it to push its hardest. ~ The lack of HST and Defoliation I feel let it finish faster due to lack of stress and stunting. The faster finishing time along with the big yield and efficient MarsHydro light, it hugely reduced my electricity costs per gram and freed up space much sooner for the next plant. ~ Turned into a very dense bush of buds, there is even smokable dense buds at the base of the plant due to the under canopy lighting (Not as dense as top canopy buds but still decent) ~ Ran a thin line between stressing the plant and letting it flourish. The buds came out big and very dense, also it's hard to see on camera but they're very frosty too (Prob from UVB) YIELD: ~ 145g (dry) in just 9 weeks from seed. ~ 753g (Wet) ~ 0.91g/watt GENETICS: ~ MSNL - Gorilla Glue Auto ~ my favorite strain, as you can tell by my username! STRAIN REVIEW: ~ Heavy hitter, like an indica but has some of that "feel it in your face" sensation of a strong sativa. Not as heavy or as strong as other GG#4's I have smoked, which would make me question the genetics used to produce the auto version. I will wait till after a cure and judge it again. TRAINING: ~ No defoliation or HST (Bar last week for pics) ~ A little LST and leaf tucking but largely just left the plant alone to do its thing. I felt chopping healthy parts off the plant would slow the plant down and leave it with less chlorophyll to photosynthesize the light. ~ I did prune by lightly plucking dead leaves away, when the plant was ready to let them go easily. DRYING ~ 20/21'C 50% RH with air circulation. ~ Homemade Drybox made using: 2 x Bankers Boxes ~ 2 x USB Desk Fans ~ 1 x Carbon Filter ~ 6 x Clothes Hangers UPDATE: Day 5 after Harvest: ~ Fast dried some small batches, as we couldn't wait to sample. ~ Chopped off branches as some are down to 12% moisture whilst bigger buds are up at 18%. Moving to paper bag for couple of days to even moisture out then transferring to jars CURING: ~Curing in jars 3/4 full. ~ Dark closet/18'C/50% RH ~ Jars burped once Hygro passes 65% and sealed when it drops to 58%. ~ Stabilised it at 62% and after 2 weeks I'll drop it some more and stabilise it at 58% to bring out more of the flavour. ~Sitting in jars with Boveda 62% at this stage. ~ Already tastes and feels great. WATER: ~ Condensed (Starting at 40ppm) ~ Disinfected prior to adding nutrients etc. (Using COOSPIDER UVC - 253nm & 187nm bulb) CLIMATE: ~ Ambient Air Temp = 29'C ~ 28'C LST ~ Leaf to air temp variance of between 1'C ~ Night Temp = 22/23'C ~ Day/Night temp differential 6-7'C ~ Under Canopy Temp: 26'C (Day) ~ 21'C (Night) ~ Relative Humidity = 50-60%RH (Avg. 55%RH) ~ VPD = 1.45kPa (Avg.) ~ Co2 ranges from 900ppm to 1500ppm (Avg. 1200ppm) AIR PRESSURE: ~ Ambient Air Pressure (outside tent) = Mean Avg. 1010 mbars (101 Kilopascals) ~ Actual Air Pressure (inside tent) = Mean Avg. 1005 mbars (100.5 Kilopascals) ~ Air Pressure Differential = up to 0.5 kPa range between inside & outside LIGHT: ~ UVB (High intensity @ 45cm) ~ 2 hours daily mid light cycle. ~ Warm White 3000K/White 5000k/Far Red (660nm) ~ At plant canopy = PPFD 900-1000umols/s/m2 ~ Lux 45,000-55,000 ~ Daily Light Integral 55-65 ~ Under canopy lighting ~ Blue (460nm)/ Red (630nm) NUTRIENTS: ~ Mostly Advanced Nutrients (For base nutrients and most additives, as only company I could find scientific data on) ~ Canna (For Calmag Agent and Cannazym) ~ Plant Success (Great White Mycorrhizae) ADDITIONAL GROW TECHNIQUES: INFECTION PREVENTION & CONTROL: Infection control practices i.e ~ PPE, Alcohol Hand wash ~ Gray room outside tent, ~ Carbon filter ~ HEPA filter ~ Plasma Ionizer ~ Inline UV-C germicidal bulb ~ Also using an additional higher powered COOSPIDER (UVC) 253nm & 187nm bulb, to disinfect the gray room outside of the tent once a week for 30 mins. ~ Ozone (o3) gas that is produced using the COOSPIDER, is then directed into the tent to further control any unwanted pathogens. ~ Ed Rosenthal (Zero Tolerance organic pesticide), sprayed once a week as preventative measure. On hand for heavier use (Once every 3 days before lights out for 15 days) in the case of an outbreak (No outbreaks yet, due to aforementioned preventative measures)

DAY 56 flowering: Hi all and welcome to any new visitors too. We are at the near end point now with this 1st run of the viparspectra xs1500. It has been a very pleasant experience and also a humbling one too. I never expected the performance it has proven and initially thought I would struggle to find a practical way of incorporating it into my set up and to see what it had got to offer. Deciding to go the route I have was more driven by the lights abilities to perform wat better than I anticipated. The 5 seedlings soon became 5 big ladies that would have been impossible to squeeze under the 2x2 flowering coverage They did however, get an amazing start right up to flowering beginning before I had to choose who stayed under the xs1500. The 2 that I mainly diary for the lights ability are the focus of the journal but I have to include a little on the other strains due to their initial support from the light and to also include the Gorilla cookies as they are amazing plants. They are both so close to ready now and sadly one of the mains has been hit with an little bud rot from its density. The buds smell so candy sweet now too. I will be keeping a very vigilant eye on these now. Grandaddys mimosa had continued her swelling from using the #Shogun Dragon force and is a perfect example of how the product works in the final 2 weeks of flowering , when usually they are fading out to finish. The buds have doubled in girth with an absolutely solid feel to them too . The light has helped create some very hard buds. No signs of whisky popcorn at all and each stack is a solid spike of flowering plant. For such a squat girl, she is so impressive. She smells so fruity with a hint of citrus to her and she is engulfing all the leaves that had been poking out previously. I think she will be a surprise yield next week !. The Northern lights girls are both doing really well too with the #2 mutant starting to ripen up finally now. She is still way taller than her sister but has sone long node gaps. #1 is totally different, she is a spiked monster compared and her colas are taking on a nice pale orange colour as they ripen. I do think she will go another week before being ready to consider harvest. She is still so fresh looking in a lot of places that I dont want to rush her at all. The light has managed to penetrate deep enough into the plant to create long spiked colas with no issues down low in the canopy with whispy popcorn to mention either. This is a very positive point to mention as some l.e.d do not get the penetration needed to do more than create a top canopy with poor light reaching deeper and not supplying the par they need. This light does not have that issue by a long shot. It penetrates like "Dirk diggler" and reaches all those important ladies parts !!!.... I am most impressed by the mimosa so far and as a 1st gen cross auto of a mimosa lemon Male sacks and a random multi strain seeding from its pollen release , I have ended up with a good amount of crossed autos from trusted and stable strains. It can be fun growing these out and so far this is the 3rd from the batch that I have successfully run. Aside from the benefits of the end products we get , the journey we go on can be an amazing and eye openening experience. If you start to investigate how these plants really live , love and die and how they use the network of available systems to communicate and build our much loved bud factories , you will find it hard to climb out of that rabbit hole . Finding out that fungi is not the man everyone wants to party with but IS a complex communication system used in nature to meet the needs of the whole forest/fauna in unison is life changing !!!!!. At day 57, they are now going into a 48hr dark period before harvesting . I did have a couple of bud rot issues in one or two buds due to the density of their growth. I am hoping to keepnot at bay during the low and slow dry after trimming wet this time. I will update their yield ect once they finish. Pics dont do them justice and they smell so sweet. Thanks again to RQS for providing the genetics for another diary! It's been another fun run. Thanks to all that follow, like and comment. I appreciate every one of you 👊✌️🤙 Once she was down, her fan leaves were cut off and each branch was hung in the drying box and left to dry for 8 days. It was left in a cool dark place to slow drying time. Once the outer leaves were dry her buds were given a close trim and jarred for curing. I put a 62% boveda pack inside to ensure the humidity is stable during curing, although it's not crucial. The jar is burped once a day for a few days and then left approx a week inbetween the next couple of openings. After 3 weeks or so, you don't have to worry about burping if you wish to store for a while, or you can tuck right in like I do! Because I have 4 seperate quarters for other plants/strains in one tent, under one light, I've had to calculate these by dividing the conditions by 4 (4 sections in total sharing same conditions). This is the fairest and only way to work it out on average as a full tent. If you multiply by 4, it gives you the average amount for a full tent worth. Happy growing! 🦊

Here I shortly document the making of Cannabis-infused-butter for what ever you want to cook with it. 1. Decarboxylate your weed: Grind the amount you want to use (pref 8-15 grams) spread it on a bakingsheet and bake it at 110 degrees for 40 minutes. 2. Infuse it into butter: Use 250grams butter+ 200ml water and heat it up to 70-90degrees (preferably keep it at 80degrees) add the weed and let it "simmer" for 3-4hours. Stir every 5-20minutes and keep the temperatue inbetween 70-90degrees or you destroy THC. 3. Seperate the weed from the butter: Use a kitchentowel or teafilter to seperate the butter. After let it cool down in a fridge. 4. Enjoy the cooking/baking. Use it inbetween 5days or freeze it. Enjoy the high! its banging👌 Bubblehash-Process coming soon!

I started this week off with Topping and Lst training, only the lsd-25 are getting lst trained. I just tucked some of the leaves on the Lsd plants. The smaller blackberry is showing signs of deficiency, this plant been struggling the whole time. the gorilla cookies was either nute burned or too much fertilizer. So today i just watered all my plants with just plain R/o water

_____📅 Week 16 | 📅 Day 112 | 🍂 Harvest after the 8. week 🍂 ______ Day 112 🌞🍂🍁💐 - I decided to harvest 2 of the 3 Lemon Power Haze...Exactly after the 8th week. - I'll leave LPH#1 in the tent for at least another week. - Yield is okay...but the buds didn't get even light either...there were too many plants or too long a veggie phase... Day 122 🌞🍂🍁💐 I harvested LPH#1 after 9.5 weeks, I think that did her good Yield dry: LPH#1 - 80 gr LPH#2 - 105gr LPH#3 - 90 gr ____________________ 3 Plants 275 gr total This is now filled into 4 liter preserving jars and stored for at least 1 month with 62% boveda packs. the room temperature is approx. 18-20°. I have not included many small “popcorn buds” as I process them further. It's a big tin I think max 20-30g. #DrySpaceContest

This week we started LST AND IS GOING WELL SO FAR

1/10 Week 10 Both are in flush and from the looks of the tricones these are the most potent plants we have grown to date. Drinking has really slowed down but keeping the un-PH one gallon daily flush since tap water is cheap. Annie doing very well under the LED lamp, TS-1000 plenty large enough for one plant in flower. This is encouraging for plans to replace the HID with either a TS-2000 or TS-3000(preferred) this spring before the summer heat. Just a few more days....😎 1/11 Bud pics Harvest Belle on 1/13 - Annie 1/16 Just getting them ready. taking off some useless leaves etc... 1/14 Harvesting Belle today, let her dry out one last day. Annie harvest at weeks end. Harvest pics and total numbers at end of week when I take Annie 👉BELLE HARVEST 963 grams wet 👈 Annie got her last watering today, harvest in two days 1/15 Harvesting in about 12 hours, pics and numbers then

Day 72 - Trimmed em abit, took off some of the lower stuff.... they are happy.... haha nothing else to say, normal watering, the flush helped abit i think... Day 75 - UV bug zapper LED, posted afew pics of nighttime with the led, it's killed 10+ knats in the first day.... seems to be working.... :) Day 77 second day and it's killed alot more.... i lowered it, below the pot level... its got 3 modes- just led, just uv trap, and both uv trap / 10w led.... ...15+ gnats in 2 days.... *update, seems to work best with just the trap on, and led off, during night 12hr cycle..... i'm abit surprised, i didn't think it would work at all, see how the second trap works when it arrives..... 😎

Jamie Foxx ------ Day 8 - It's a new week and I'm so happy to deal with a recent slight over watering 😒 , I could not expect a better surprise as all of us growers likes to give extra care in attempts to save a grow 😤. Anyway , the ladies are thriving and It's the only things that matter ✌️😛 ------- Day 11 - They looks better today so I decided to transplant them in 3L pots. I did not water a lot to let the soil dry after the over watering 👍✌️. As I am a Lucky man , after the nice over watering here comes the white flies , this tiny little bugs that only want to suck the plants , bring fungus and put plenty of eggs under my leaves , you can't imagine how happy I am to already deal with 2 issues 😒, it will bring a lot of fun to try to get rid of them 😖😩😧

Day 92. Plants are doing great !!! Frost is already amazing and they will surprise me more , I know it ! Today water, next time they will get last feed. From last week every time I water them, I do 10 leaves defoliation for each plant. So last week they lost 20 each, think this week I will do 30 more. Girls grew so nice and i knew that I'll have enough space for them, so I left them only heavily lolipoped . Was doing selective defoliation here and there, but max 20 leaves were taken from each plant before. Mostly just to expose crown side colas. Happy Growing !!!
