The tent has been cleaned. Flowering day 29 Today the plants and buds were checked for health and cleaned. Flowering day 30 Today was poured again. This mam she got 1 liter of water. (See nutrient table for nutrient addition). Of course, the plant was checked for its vitality 🧐😅. Flowering day 31 The humidifier was refilled a little and the tent cleaned 👍. Days of flowering 32 Today 1.2 liters of water were poured. (See nutrient table for nutrient addition). Fans, fans, electrics have been checked for functionality 😊. Hello Canna Fam, Firstly thank you for stopping past and having a look at my grow🤜🏼🤛🏼 Today marks the start of week 8 and some of the ladies are slowly frosting up. The 2 Gorilla Glues which have been a bit behind in growth have finally stretched and started to flower officially. There is still along way for the 2 and they may flower for up to 15 weeks if I look at other diaries with a similar delayed growth. Today is the start of spring here in sunny South Africa 🇿🇦 and as things warm up we should hopefully get better growth. Thanks again for stopping by and happy growing y’all✌️🏼

Fantastic week. Lots has changed. Plants are stacking something fierce! I cut out the nitrogen completely this week, qnd that's how it will stay for the duration of the rest of the grow. I have found with autos, i have had the best luck when I push them hard with nitrogen up until this stage in growth. I then cut out the nitrogen completely and up the bloom nutes quite dramatically. For the rest of the grow I will feed every watering. Water at a 6.4 ph. Gro- 0ml per gal Micro- 10ml per gal Bloom- 15ml per gal Bug bud- 5ml per gal Very much looking forward to watching this batch swell!! What a bush!!! Didnt show flower until 8 weeks. Cannot wait to see what this babe turns into!

1/4/26 1:26 AM. This is me starting a diary accidentally a day too early iced tea had some problems. The cocoa had something in it and the root hit it and it screwed up so I’ve flushed it out. I put another seed in and she’s doing just great. I’ve never had this happen before so I must’ve. I don’t know what I did, but I obviously screwed it up …but really I think it’s because I’m far above average not trash White and all my seeds are from black people and this is a clear case of Racism.😡😂😂😂 I’m gonna write a book about my struggles. These girls are taking their time adding weight!! The last Ultimates I did harvested at day 87 there’s no way they are gonna be harvested at the same time. Ultimate #3 has some real issues her leaves are browning and she’s so stunted for the LST on these girls we used a product called bendz they were these little plastic arches you put on the branches to bend them and I honestly think they stopped the uptake of nutrients into the branches so I won’t be using them ever again!!

Week 9, final feed and removed the dead and dying leaves. Buds are finally getting dense, frosty and sticky. The end is nearing and I'm excited to see the final results. Thanks for stopping by growfessors.

Great week this week! Yanked out the stunted smaller plant as she was not growing anymore. Made a little room for the larger one. Doing bending almost daily trying to keep her off the light and out of the fan. Ppm was at around 200 when I pulled the smaller plant. I then added 1/3 nutrients. Ppm at 826. Ph was a little low in the 5.5 so I raised it up 5.8-6.1 or so. Ph seems to fluctuate a lot as the pump moves the water around. Flowers are plumping up. The plant is so big I can barely get into the basin. Daily water flushing was helping the roots a lot last week to keep off the brown. I figure she has 1-2 weeks left as she is an auto and waaayyyyy past her due date. There is 0 room for the new plant to grow so I think she will end up not working out, I might cut back the big girl to make room, not sure yet. Most of the harvested little plant will go to bubble hash basket. I will update later.

It is getting real bushy in there and i have some thirsty plants. Tent is getting pretty packed and the stretch is on. I might have to water almost everyday, I suspect them to be on the edge of rootbound. Should have went with 14 liter pots or might even 18. Smell is amazing and they are starting to get sticky when i pick fan leaves. Defoliation is coming at the end of next week tho. But it is really bushy i have been picking tons of leaves so far. Tempted to strip them sooner than 21 days into flower but we will see.

11/6 Fed and watered. Each took a full gallon. 11/8 They are really drinking up the water. They were dry already so I watered each with a full gallon. 11/10 Watered each with a full gallon 11/13 Watered and fed each with a gallon.

Welcome to my Fast Buds sponsored shootout and living organic soil v coco side by side. I also plan to use this grow to my full advantage regarding a few age old nagging questions about methods. I have had a keen interest in L.O.S ( supersoil) since reading a few threads a while back on how amazing and productive it can be. After too much research and procrastinating I had to give it a go. I have been a decades coco/nft grower and recently threw my hat in the rdwc ring too. I have avoided soil due to the overwatering worry ( heavy handed chimp brain !) and the best potting soil/feeds. Catching up on the advances in indoor soil gardening and organics led me too subcools supersoil recipes to name a few but being a town dweller with farms everywhere around me still drew blanks on a lot of the ingredients needed and where the hell I could even begin to get them from. Thankfully , commercial savvy has now made buying it in ready to use and with a full range of beneficial bacteria ect available in amendments from a grow shop here in the uk. ecothrive have realised the potential for us to dive into this medium with all the mixing , measuring and resourcing. I bit the bullet and £150 later I now have 4 x37Litre pots that will be used for as long as I want to feed the soil for without EVER needing nutrients again potentially. The coco has also had charge mixed in to encourage the bennies to colonize there too. I will be using the shogun nutes that I know do the business with coco to compare with for yield , growth and taste. I have 3 seeds each of 4 Fast Buds Strains to use as a control for the grow and am journaling each strain in their own diaries. This statement will be used to start each one as the information is identical at this point but following this I will do them individually. I am now starting their second week since opening the seed packets , straight into soaked and shook root riot cubes and into the heated propagator. They had all showed their heads by end of day 3 and a couple needed helmet surgery to open up without being hindered . I have has them in the prop for a few days but they needed to get settled as they were popping roots out all over the cubes. They have now been in their final pots for 2 days complete and starting their 3rd today at day 8 since planting in cubes. I am impressed with the speed and success of these girls already (12 of 13 germinated) . Well done fast buds. So here we go folks , any comments , ideas ,questions , advice are always welcome and I hope we can have some fun experimenting with defol v non defol , topping v fimming v bending and any other curiosities along the way.
