🌿 Amnesia Skunk Auto — Week 9 From Seed (Week 5 Flower) We’re back with the Amnesia Skunk auto, and before we dive into this week, let’s take a second to understand how we got here. This run has been a bit different from the traditional approach. Even though we’re working with autoflowers, the environment has been set under a 12/12 light cycle from seed — what we’ve been calling a “no veg” approach. Now, to clarify — it’s not that the plant doesn’t vegetate. It does. But it does so on its own internal clock, not because we extended light hours to push vegetative growth. So what happens? The plant never gets the signal to fully stretch and build structure like in a classic veg phase, which results in: • more compact plants • tighter node spacing • earlier transition into flower • and a much faster lifecycle overall And that’s exactly what we’re seeing here. ⸻ 🌱 This Week — The Story of the White Hairs (Pistils) This week, the stars of the show are the white hairs — the pistils. Those fine white strands you’re seeing shooting out of the buds are the female reproductive organs of the plant. Their role is simple, but powerful: They are designed to catch pollen. Each pistil is connected to an ovule inside the calyx. If pollinated, that’s where seeds would form. But in our case — no pollen, no seeds — so the plant continues to push energy into: 👉 resin production 👉 bud swelling 👉 terpene expression That’s why you’ll notice: • fresh, bright white pistils = active growth phase • constant new pistil production = plant still building mass And right now? She’s in full production mode. ⸻ 🌿 Structure & Development What’s really interesting here is the morphology. These are currently the most compact plants in the room, sitting around ~90 cm, but: • dense structure • tight internodes • bud sites stacked closely The buds themselves are already: • forming tight • showing early frost • pushing aroma earlier than expected For a plant that never had a traditional veg window, this is honestly impressive. ⸻ 🌡️ Environment & Feeding We’ve kept things stable and consistent: • Temperature: ~28°C • Humidity: ~65% RH • pH: ~6.5 • EC: ~2.0 Water intake is sitting at around 1.5L per plant per day, which tells us: 👉 metabolism is active 👉 root zone is functioning well 👉 demand is increasing as flowers build ⸻ ⚡ On the “No Veg” Approach This run continues to reinforce something interesting: You don’t always need a long veg phase to get quality results. What you get instead is: • speed • control over height • uniform canopy • faster turnover But also: • smaller overall plant size • less room for recovery from stress • everything happens quicker, so mistakes show faster It’s a different rhythm — not better, not worse — just a different way to grow. ⸻ 🔮 What to Expect Next Week Looking ahead: You should expect: • pistils continuing to multiply • buds starting to stack and swell more aggressively • resin production increasing noticeably • aromas becoming stronger and more defined What not to expect (yet): • no major calyx swelling peak yet • no heavy pistil browning yet • no final density — we’re still building We’re still in that “construction phase”, not the finishing stage. ⸻ 🤝 Gratitude As always — thank you. 12/25/2023-Germination Day 1 Merry X-mas 2023 I decided to start a run of SolFIre Gardens Hoodz Candyz S1. I am going to do a cup filled with RO water a touch of Hydrogen peroxide and let it sit for 24-48 hours until I see tap root then I am going to put it into a rapid rooter.. Tap root Down and put it about 1/4 of the say down the Rapid rooter. I made some modifications to my basket on this run.. I have taken a few Pods that I use for my cloning machine and decided that I am going to try and use them as sure plants, so that I can take my water right up to the bottom of the basket this time and see if these can make my planting more consistent.   12/26/2023-Germination Day 2 Tap root achieved Planting Commencing 12/27/2023-Germination Day 3 Misted the dome lightly misted the rapid rooter and added a little water to the bottom of the pan to encourage root growth to the pan. 12/28/2023-Germination Day 4 Ground Hogs day 12/29/2023- Germination Day 5 She is up, she has broken surface, I misted the root riot, and around the bottom of the tray to try and entice root growth down rapidly. 12/31/2023- Germination Day 6 Ground Hogs Day 1/1/2024-Germination Day 7 HAPPY NEW YEARS!!.. I did it I planned it out so my planting day would fall on New Years and it worked.. Yay!!! 1/2/2024- Germination Day 8 Since the roots are not to the water yet, I am pouring one cup of water lightly on the hydroton around the lady to try and encourage root growth down to the water.. 1/3/2024- Germination Day 9 Ground Hogs day, will continue until roots hit the water. 1/4/2024- Germination Day 10 Ground Hogs day, will continue until roots hit the water. I will just continue to top feed until roots are in the water.. Shouldn't be more than a few more days. 1/5/2024- Germination Day 11 Ground Hogs day, will continue until roots hit the water. Look at the video Weds was an explosion of growth. I tried a higher ambient temp on Thursday to dry out the medium and see how she would respond growth seamed to slow so it's back to 70F mornings slowly bring it up to 78F-80F for mid day. Watering every 48 hours early morning when light comes on or right before, Friday was flush 20% nutes 2 gals. LST seamed to slow growth too so I just let it do its own natural thing.

This week went by quick but they grew a lot! I didn't do anything different than last week but just increase their water intake from 1L to 1.5L and then followed my same nutrient regiment. I use the Fish Poop then the next day I just water. Then I use the Real Growers Soil Recharge and then I just water the next day. Then I use the MaxiGrow and then I just water the next day. Then I use the Stash Blend and then I use just water the next day. You can pH (using soil) between 5.5 and 6.5 so I always pH my Nutrient Solutions at 6.2 and use my pH'd water which is a 6.8 (7.0 for soil) but I pH my H20 after adding my Nutrient Solutions. I use my H2O that's always 65 degrees! I find it's better and easier to have a bucket with pH'd water ready to go at all times. It makes it easier when watering and feeding your plants especially if you have a few to care of!

Hi there! Some more LST is done especially on Orange Sherbet and Wedding Cheeskace. Purple Punch and Frosty Gelato remain small and it is too hot now they were burnt also I removed some leaves. Outside is 30 degrees inside 38 OMG. They are not in my house so just see them once a week harder to look after them... They are flowering also all good hopefully the heat wont damage them that much. Lamp distance is back because it was a bit too close also I guess...

Lollipop the bottom 1/3. Plants are around 18" tall. Looking great. These girls look like they are ready to begin flower so they got flipped day 45.

Esa familia, ya actualizo, estas candy caramelo son una locura, solo hay que ver el color que tienen y la distancia que hay entre nudos. Ya pasan 14 días desde que cambiamos el foco a 12/12, y pronto veremos cómo va escupiendo los brotes de las futuras flores. Sigo controlando el PH que no supera el 6.5 , temperatura con un LED sin problema alguno, humedad entorno al 45%. Poco más por aquí, no olvidéis que abrí más diarios con nuevos proyectos y cambiamos gama de nutrientes, para más, visitarlos. Un saludo fumetillas, hasta la próxima semana.
