D64: Well, as I mentioned in yesterday´s report, she has some kind of deficiency I cannot tell why, so I presume it is salt buildup - which I can see from outside the pot a little more than usual - from the heavy feeding. So in that regard I flushed her and watered until it runs with 6.2 pH water. Did a little defoliation for the last time, from now on she won´t be getting anymore training nor defoliation. I expected her to be a little bigger by now but at least the seems like a fast runner and will probably finish on the estimated time by RQS of 10-11 weeks. D65: The deficiency don´t seem to have evolved. From day to night she developed some nice purple on the leaves! D66: The defiency seems to have stopped and she has a lot of dying leaves, I think it´s natural and not related to the deficiency. D69: She is getting ready.. the thricomes are looking overall about 60-70% cloudy with some clear and amber, some more days, maybe a week and she´s done. D70: Well, last day of the week and unfortunately last day of the life of this beautiful girl. I guess she had 1 or 2 more weeks still but today I woke up and she had mold – Botrytis -. It was on the low buds, closer to the ground even tho I didn´t even water, but the problem I found out later what it was: 88% humidity during the night. Now, I trimmed her all and put to dry, which will be a problem since the humidity outside is 90% and it doesn´t stop raining in this time of the year. Arranca la semana con una solución más cargada y las plantas atadas al limite. No puedo imaginar lo que deben ser las raíces. Pero hasta ahora la solución está siempre limpia. Los EMRO están funcionando a la perfección. Espero que empiecen a formarse bien las flores. Día 17. Empezó el engorde. El estirón frenó. Ahora voy a esperar que las flores empiecen a tomar forma para luego hacer una defoliación y el último guiado, y así dejar todas las flores con una exposición a la luz de forma pareja. Estoy bastante contento y satisfecho con lo que vengo observando. Día 20. Hice una defoliación de las hojas superiores. Cómo solamente tengo hasta 3 nudos debajo de la cabeza con flores, saqué las hojas grandes de arriba que hacían sombra a las flores bajas. De esa forma las flores de arriba desarrollan un poco más las hojas pegadas a las flores, pero no tanto como para hacer gran sombra. Y las flores del 3er nudo, se siguen alimentando de las hojas grandes que dejé. Este corte lo hice hace años en un SCROG de critical mass, y obtuve muy buenos resultados. Ahora a esperar el tan preciado engorde. Día 21. Las flores ya empiezan a ganar volumen camino a su formación. Se las ve cambiando día a día. Por el momento sólo puedo agradecer que no ha habido inconvenientes. La solución se mantiene increíblemente limpia, siendo que por el volumen y amontonamiento de raíces que debe haber en los caños, debería haber aunque sea algo. Pero las EMRO vienen haciendo su trabajo bastante bien, así que fue una excelente inversión, y bastante accesible en precio. Mañana arranca la 4ta semana. Espero que sea una semana de grandes avances.

Watered with 1 gallon of the above listed nutrients! 95% dry, and ready for another dose in 5-7 days! I removed both branches, in the second node position on the trunk, and LST'd her down in the direction of the removed-downward-node. She has 5 remaining nodes, that will be trained out, away from each-other. All nodes are receiving equal, full light.

Week 3 of flowering is in the books for the Auto Gelato girl from Fast Buds Genetics <3 ... this week I did some minor cleanup with dying leaves, and the lower branches that were being blocked out by the top colas. This girl has recovered exceptionally well after being supercropped the previous week, so excited to see how she'll continue to grow and stack up in the coming weeks! Considering I snapped the stalk while cropping, I was really surprised to see just how well the wound healed up over the week. These plants are awesome! This is a project by a friend and me :) He has no experience with it but a garden and I have a lot of experience and no garden :) His 80 year old grandfather prepared the earth for us and I have to say I have never seen such perfect earth. The plants have never shown any deficiency and have consistently performed well. Unfortunately we had to harvest 2-4 weeks early because the weather is too humid and there is a lot of concern about mold. One is currently still in the ground but will be harvested in the next few days. That was great fun!! A big thanks to my buddy and his grandfather ♡ I will grow the strain again in the future as I was very happy with the performance!!

Fed my girl her last flowering compost tea about 3 days ago. She is absolutely beautiful. Loving her environment and thriving. Bud production looks lovely and even producing tricomes already. I'm very please with this week. Will water with recharge on day 21 and then one last defoliation. Very easy going plant.

It requires oxygen and produces carbon dioxide and water as byproducts. Biochar generally offers a much higher CEC than coco coir, though specific values vary greatly; while coco coir might sit around 40-60 cmol/kg, biochar can range from tens to over 200 cmol/kg, with sources like Acacia wood biochar or even coconut shell biochar often surpassing coco's capacity due to its porous structure, creating significantly more cation-binding sites for nutrients, making it superior for nutrient retention. Needs to be charged similar to coco but at a much higger rate. But shhhh.. It's a secret. Ancient biochar-rich soils in the Amazon basin (known as Terra Preta) provide evidence of carbon stability lasting over 500 to 2,000+ years. Recommend a balanced ratio of key cations, particularly calcium (Ca), magnesium (Mg), and potassium (K). A widely accepted general "ideal soil" cation saturation ratio is approximately 65-85% Ca, 6-12% Mg, and 2-5% K. That's roughly what I give mine. Can even add N in its NH4+ form

Hey everyone! Quick update on the grow. We're officially in week 3, day 2 of veg, and so far, everything’s looking pretty solid. I’ve noticed a bit of slight nutrient burn starting to show on the edges of the leaves, so I’ll need to monitor that. Nothing too serious yet, but I’ll be keeping an eye on it and adjusting if needed. Today I did a little more defoliation to help open up the canopy, and I also topped both plants to encourage some more lateral growth. After topping, I finished off the training with some LST (low stress training) to spread the canopy out and give the lower shoots a chance to catch up. I’m aiming for an even canopy spread, so this should help with that. I gave them a full watering with 3L of pH’d water at 5.8 and 400ppms going in. However, the runoff came out higher than I wanted again, Looks like next feed will be just plain pH’d water to try and bring those numbers down a bit, similar to my last run Everything’s moving in the right direction, though, so I’m feeling good.
