Plants are doing well! Great genetics so far and easy to grow! The 2 gorillas that went into flower weeks ago I’m not 100% sure if they were photos. Should have been but they are still budding. Full of tons of leaves so I’m hoping for a reveg but not sure if that’s because of the worm castings giving that nitrogen or if they are in reveg. I’m gonna let them ride and we shall see what happens. I’ve done some lower defoliation along with removing some really huge leaves to open it up and let light in. These plants are seriously really Hardy! Super thick stalks and healthy leaves. Really happy with these seeds so far!

Apple Pie. mmmmmm 👋Top is a clean cut, no confusion for the plant, road ahead is clear, by completely removing the main growth tip, the auxin source is eliminated. The plant permanently halts vertical growth from that main stem and immediately sends its energy and hormones to the two new, evenly spaced branches just below the cut. Fimming slightly different because a small tuft of the top growth is left behind, the auxin disruption is temporary and less severe. The plant recovers more quickly and sends its energy to multiple surrounding growth points, often creating four or more new shoots from the same spot. It will eventually regain some vertical dominance after a few weeks if left to its own devices, but with a little more LST, bending the apex to the same height as the rest of the internodes, this shatters dominance, hopefully creating around 8-9 main shoots growing at equal height once recovered and grown out. Reduced environmental intensity for now and let her focus on dealing with this new stress for a week or two. When H+ ions are added to soil, the first nutrient displaced from exchange sites is typically aluminum (Al3+), if it's present, followed by calcium (Ca2+), magnesium (Mg2+), and potassium (K+), because aluminum and these base cations have different binding strengths. The order of displacement depends on the lyotropic series, where ions with a higher positive charge and those with weaker binding strengths are displaced first. The specific order of nutrient displacement is determined by the lyotropic series, which ranks the strength with which cations are adsorbed by soil particles: Al3+: Most strongly adsorbed, so if present, it will be displaced by H+ ions, leading to increased solubility of aluminum and potential plant toxicity. Ca2+: Displaced next, as it is more strongly bound than Mg2+ or K+ but less than Al3+. Mg2+ and K+: Displaced after Ca2+. The displaced nutrients can be lost from the root zone through leaching, becoming unavailable to plants. As H+ ions increase, the proportion of acid cations (H+ and Al3+) on the exchange sites increases, while base cations (Ca2+, Mg2+, K+) decrease, resulting in a lower soil pH. The amount of photosynthesis (water splitting) directly determines the availability of H+ ions (protons) in a plant. 90% of water is for cooling of photosynthetic apparatus the other 10% is split for its H+ among others things. Carbon sugars, like glucose, do oxidize in soil through a process primarily driven by microorganisms, which break down these sugars for energy. This oxidation converts the sugars into carbon dioxide (CO2) through cellular respiration, a key part of the soil carbon cycle, though some carbon may also be incorporated into soil organic matter. The rate and extent of sugar oxidation depend on factors like oxygen availability, the presence of Fe oxides, and soil redox conditions, which can all influence the process. My understanding of why we flush. Just plain water, what does it do? Strips the medium of salts and nutrients making it empty. What does that do? Triggers nutrient recycling within the plant. What's nutrient recycling? It is a natural part of plant senescence, which can be triggered once you know the switches. A 24:1 carbon-to-nitrogen ratio will also trigger. Why won't it trigger autophagy for me? Nitrogen needs to be gone, gone, gone almost. Ammoniacal (organic) nitrogen takes 4-5 times more water to separate it from soil particles than nitrates so what happens is most people jist flush the nitrates, leave all the ammoniacal in there and this prevents autophagy initiating. Nitrogen decays differently depending on its form during the dry. Ammoniacal nitrogen will oxidize in the air, leaving no trace. But nitrates do no decay and turn volatile and smelly and remain trapped until smoked, no matter how long you cure it does not oxidize. This is why you need to trigger it and begin the denitrification process prior to harvest to get rid of all the nitrates. Otherwise, you will smoke it. Flush till autophagy begins, just make sure you add no nitrogen afterwards. Micronutrients for trichomes. Don't leave the medium empty for 2 weeks, that does nothing but reduce yield 10%ish. Trichomes are another thing. Trichomes themselves are not directly affected by flushing; rather, flushing affects the plant's nutrient uptake, which influences the development and final state of the trichomes. Trichomes are filled with antioxidants in the last weeks, which is what makes them cloudy. A lot of the processing of antioxidants requires energy and nutrients (mostly micronutrients ), so you don't want that soil empty for 2 weeks, you just want the carbon nitrogen ratio 24:1and no higher. She still wants what she needs to ripen. Processing antioxidants is energy-intensive; heat and light accelerate the rate at which THC converts to CBN. This is why you lower DLI, lower temps. By doing so, you reduce the oxidative workload caused by photosynthesis, which opens up the oxidative capacity for the production of antioxidants. THC is mostly processed at night when the plant's oxidative capacity is generally moreso "free and available" for work

May 4: nice spring day so the plants were outside in the afternoon. Some direct sun but mostly in the small greenhouse to stay warm out of direct sun. Still spraying with water to make up for low humidity, but also starting to water soil in a circle around the plant. Using Monster Maxx this year. Used last year in my compost tea and the root balls were very dense and intricate so it seems to work as advertised. Will still be mostly used for compost tea but also according to label direction of 2 mL/L once a week. May 5: mixing soil and sorting out grow bags for this year. Putting some spruce cones in the bottom to ensure air gets to the roots at the bottom. Indoor growers often use clay balls for this apparently but I’ve got lots of spruce cones handy and they’ll do the trick. May 6: looking good with all three looking very similar at this early stage. May 7: looking good. Room temp could be higher but oh well. May 9: beautiful warm spring day so I decided to transplant the chosen seedling into the final container. Auto Maxi Gom is making progress. She is shifting more into a stretching, and stronger pre flowering phase. She should start developing more colas in the next weeks to come. The flowering of my TRICHOME WONDERS continues through week 12 and they have grown to an AMAZING size now. The main branches form HUGE colas and some of the plants have started their fade (=the leaves start to get yellow and/or purple), which shows they are getting ripe now and that the BIO-Tabs nutrients in the soil are almost used up. Perfect timing until the end of the cycle. The amount of TRICHOMES on some of my babies is FLABBERGASTING! 😱😍 The topbuds are ENCRUSTED with a WHITE LAYER of trichomes and the plants are GLISTENING now. Especially the Mr. Big Candy from Mr. Hide Seeds is a VERY BEAUTIFUL specimen...she has hues of purple and red in the buds and is FULL OF CRYSTALS! The aroma is a sweet candy like smell, which makes my mouth water every time. The biggest colas are formed on the Mr. Jekyll Kush from Mr. Hide Seeds, she is HUGE! Unfortunately one of the HUGE top-buds has developed bud-rot, therefore I ha to cut off the invested top part of the plant. (see in pics) The SANlight EVO5-150 and Q5W-Gen.2 LED-lamps are doing an OUTSTANDING JOB, they are hanging at appr. 80 cm from the top of the plants and running at 100% (=not dimmed) now. The intensity and spectrum of the LEDs is perfectly designed for the development of Cannabis plants and the results speak for themselves. THOSE LEDs WORK MUCH BETTER THAN HPS-LIGHTS!!! 👍😃 I LOVE THEM!

I almost stripped them naked kinda but I need to get more light to the lower bud sites otherwise they are pretty much popcorn. The Green Gelato is happily starting to produce flowers while the Lemon Cherrys are taking their time to stretch one of them is almost 130cm tall and that was the 1 that was the most behind in the early weeks ahhahaha. She grew up nicely very healthy and strong and she produced a decent amount of organic clean cannabis, It's great and just what I work for because I'm a patient that needs to grow his weed and doing it making sure I grow them naturally and organically. The result is a very fruity and and tropical aroma, the purple color makes her even more beautiful. It's just a dream man, I love it, I just love to grow this strain, the 4 plants I grew had the same aroma very tropical and fruity, super sweet.

First day of week 4 more videos to come I’m in desperate need of putting another light in there now so gone be getting it this weekend debating on finishing them with a led and my 315cmh or chucking another cmh in there. Growth is crazy they just have shot right up! I’m being a pussy with lst them and I didn’t too any because as it’s my first grow didn’t want to do any damage it’s never to late to scrog it tho I might do that 🤷‍♂️… weather has been awful as well and my tents managed to pick up condensation as my lights not enough power to take on the crop now the temperature dipped with the outside weather, everything’s looking good bar one grape Walker is growing funny it’s the one 2nd one on the left in the middle of the tent my video on it might not be enough for anyone to help diagnose me but I’ve turned my fan of to help regain heat cos I think I stressed that baby out! Excuse the state of it all as I said I’m a newbie…. Tag 36: 🌱: Eine neue Woche beginnt und die kleine Lady wächst und wächst. 💧: Die Erde ist immernoch feucht. 💡: Die Beleuchtung ist unverändert (DLI ~40-45, Abstand zur Pflanze ~35cm) Tag 37: 🌱: Auch wenn es wohl nicht der beste Zeitpunkt dafür ist, wurde es mittlerweile doch sehr eng im Gebüsch. Daher habe ich mich entschieden heute doch noch ein mal etwas radikaler zu beschneiden und die schwächsten Triebe, vor allem aus der Mitte, zu entfernen. Zusätzlich wurden auch noch einige Fächerblätter entfernt die andere Blüten zu sehr verschatteten. Ich hoffe sie übersteht diese Tortur. (Beim nächsten mal muss ich die Triebe wohl früher und stärker selektieren...) 💧: Die Erde ist immernoch feucht. 💡: Die Beleuchtung wurde in die (mit Aufhänger) höchste Position gebracht, um den Abstand zur Pflanze aufrecht zu halten (~37cm) und die Intensität angepasst (DLI ~40-45). 🤔: Ein wenig verwundert bin ich, da ich heute plötzlich einige ziemlich violette Blattstiele, vor allem im oberen Bereich entdeckt habe. In Verbindung mit ersten sich leicht gelblich färbenden Blattspitzen, will sie mir wohl etwas mitteilen. Ich weiß nur noch nicht genau was....Sonnenbrand? Zu warm? Zu wenig Phosphor? Ich denke beim nächsten Gießen gibt es als ersten Lösungsversuch etwas mehr vom BioGrow und vom BioBloom. Tag 39: 🌱: Das Blütenwachstum scheint gefühlt etwas gestört zu sein (kein Wunder bei dem Beschneidungsstress zwischendurch). Ansonsten scheint sie sich jedoch wohlzufühlen und noch etwas an Höhe zuzunehmen. Heute gab es daher kleinere LST Anpassungen umd etwas mehr Licht/Luft in die Pflanze zu bekommen und ein einheitlicheres Dach zu erzeugen. 💧: Die Erde war trocken. Gegossen wurden wieder ca. 3 Liter Nährstofflösung. Um etwaigen Mängeln (siehe violette Stiele) vorzubeugen, wurden Bio Grow, Bio Bloom und Top Max auf 100% Düngeschema gesteigert. 💡: Die Beleuchtung wurde in Ihrer Intensität leicht angepasst, bleibt aber weiterhin bei einem DLI von ca. 45 Tag 41: 🌱: Heute wurden einige Blätter aus der Mitte und ganz unten entfernt. Sie streckt sich weiterhin fleißig und arbeitet an ihren so beliebten Buds. Als kleines Extra kam heute auch wieder ein CO2-Beutel in die Box. 💧: Die Erde war noch feucht genug. 💡: Die Beleuchtung ist unverändert. Tag 42: 🌱: Jeden Tag was neues: heute habe ich neben den violetten Blattstielen zum ersten Mal auch violette Stellen an einigen Trieben entdeckt 🤔 Ich hoffe einfach mal, dass dies aufgrund des Phenotyps / der Temperaturen geschieht. 💧: Die Erde war trocken. Gegossen wurden wieder ca. 3 Liter Nährstofflösung nach etwa 100% BioBizz Light Mix Schema. 💡: Die Beleuchtung ist unverändert.

Week 12

Empecé la germinación el 23/01/23 en un vaso de agua durante 12 horas, después al taper con servilleta húmeda 24 horas más. Radícula de 2cm y las planto en maceta de 1L Actualización estado de germinación 03/02/23: Meto fotos ya con las macetas rellenas al 10º día y fotos del 7º día comparando las macetas y los tallos. En cuanto el 2º par de hojas sea mas que evidente empezamos las semanas de crecimiento. Dentro de 2 o 3 semanas quizás, trasplantamos a maceta definitiva de 7Litros. Lo veremos. Actualización 06/02/23: Meto unas fotos de las plantas mas grandes, 3 días después para que se vea la diferencia de crecimiento. Además un video mostrando el cultivo entero, la luminaria y la extracción. Llevamos 13 días desde la germinación. Actualización 08/02/23: A partir de aquí voy a empezara a contar ya las semanas de crecimiento. Hemos tenido 15 días desde la germinación. 2/10: I watered today with about 3/4 gallon each, plus cal-mag, signal, bembe, armor si, a little open sesame, and their final dose of endoboost. The short one is budding up nicely, but the taller one is still stretching. The short one looks to be considerably more indica than the other. 2/11: Wife home sick today....postponing construction project to raise the lights. 2/12: Today, I tackled the project to raise my ceiling another foot. In addition to that project, I installed and hooked up my new AC Infinity 6" intake fan. It's pulling in fresh air from the soffit vent on the eave of the attic, and currently feeding the garden with 46f fresh air. I'm able to easily maintain daytime temps in the lower 70f's now. I am able to drive the nighttime temps as low as I want. The only issue is that the outdoor RH varies quite a bit, so I ordered a 30-pint dehumidifier to put in the top of the closet. I sprayed everybody with boomboom spray to try and mitigate the light burn damage that is likely to ensue. 2/13: The taller one is still stretching a little bit, but the 2-footer is just budding up. 2/14: I fed them today with about 3/4 gallon each including grow big, big bloom, tiger bloom, cal-mag, signal, bembe, humic acid, and I switched over from Open Sesame to Beastie Bloomz. Raised the lights another couple of inches. I did some training on them and defo'd a little bit. 2/15: Installed the new dehumidifier and rigged the continuous drain on it...works great. 2/16: I rotated the edge plants and removed some old leaves. I added another 22w 3000k 4' bar light under the canopy. 2/17: I rearranged the garden and defoliated a little bit. That's it for week 8-
