Big Tall Pheno gelato 41 🍨🍧

On day 1 I adjusted the PH of my reservoir down to 6.1. On day 2 I adjusted the PH of the reservoir from 6.3 to 6.1. On day 3 the buds are really starting to bulk up and are putting out side flower clusters already in week 5. I adjusted the PH to 6.1. The goal is to coast from 6.1-6.3 then back to 6.1-6.3 ect. On day 4 things look good I scoped out the trichs and found some to be filing up with cannabinoids :) maybe she will be done in 7-8 weeks like the breeder says. On day 5 my reservoir temp got into the 80's because when the reservoir gets depleted it lowers the water level below the thermostat and I'm getting into the colder months so the cold air temperatures are causing the heater to heat when not needed. My temporary fix is to place the heater diagonally when the water level gets low and then when the water level drops a little more I will fill my reservoir back up fully so to keep the heaters thermostat running correctly. On day 6 I did another defoliation to improve light penetration and airflow in the canopy. I installed a new "Nano aquarium heater" this will be able to heat my reservoir without being affected by the water level in my reservoir. I also changed out my reservoir and adjusted the PH to 6.1. On day 7 the girls are looking and smelling great! I adjusted my reservoirs PH from 6.6 to 6.1. My Nano aquarium heater seems to do the job nothing out of the ordinary that I could tell after a night in the low 30's.

Knuckled a few more plants for more supports and to get them bit bushier added few more down aswell and will be adding more next week moved all plants to spot 2 going to just use this spot this year and next year get that spot 1 chopped back and sorted out

What up fam, weekly update on these as they're getting really close to being finished. I'd say this coming week they'll get harvested and hung up to dry. They look and smell amazing. Did a major dedoliation taking all the major leafs off so the lower flowers can mature for a few days. All in all Happy Growing.

It was a wonderful journey, I really had the honor of doing this girl many times, this time even close to the Monster Zkittlez with which they generated the Runtz who was also in the grow. Super modern family situation, I wanted to try to figure out which one I liked best, and I still haven't been able to. at least I'm still tasting Runtz's first flowers and it's heavenly but the freshly picked Gelato and the upcoming Zkittlez are scary just to see them. Super resin, it really looks fake, I also have some macro photos that will make you cry. The resin is everywhere the trichomes are even in the largest leaves the scent is of the garden of eden. wow. Show. Really nice. It was freshly cleaned I want to try to do the resin the first time and then I have freshly cleaned and hung the whole girl upside down under the crop data next week when I clean and can give the detail. Gorgeous. Before being collected, she did two music therapy days, one of which in the dark with frequencies for plants and together we listened: 1 - Paolo Conte - "Gelato" al Limon 2 - Raekwon - Ice Cream to stay on the "Geato" theme and then all the M83 discography to be collected with the very famous Outro of Interstellar really seems to pass to a better life listening to that stuff. Week#7 Day#44 Update: shes looking nice and bushy from the ponytailing. I gave her a half a gallon of water and she drank it right up . I gave it to her day 42 I believe I noticed her leaves droopy. I still have not topped her yet there’s atleast 13 main arms needing to be pinched out currently. I’m still riding the fence with whether I’ll top dress feed her and keep her in this pot for one more month or will I transplant her up and boost the feed proportionately with the increased pot size . Week#7 Day#45 update since I can’t seem to stop riding the fence on the methods I want to use to grow this plant I decided I atleast needed to do a heavy defoliation to expose those growth sites to encourage more branching . I could continue with ponytailing & defoliation for a while I just keep kicking the can around on whether topping will make this healthy vigorous growing plant better . It’s already doing everything I could ever want in terms of lateral growth . Could it stand to be a bit more vigorous on the upwards growth ? Sure , however I’ve still got 3 ladies maturing up in this tent that I need to move out so I’m sort of happy shes not requiring a lot of leg room know what I mean ? I think as the fan leaves grow out I’ll pony tail up each top again . Week#7 Day#46 No changes Week#7 Day#47: started pony tailing her tops as the fan leaves get large enough to pin up I’ll cover as many as possible to let those lower growths get growing . Week#7 Day#48: still pony tailing tops 😁 we’ll make her into a Week#7 Day#49: those new fan leaves neeed to be pony tailed but are also incredibly yellow . I wanted to try putting the dry amendment at the bottom of my planter but for the sake of time I won’t experiment & have wasted a 2 weeks considering I knew last week she “ should be getting hungry “ & it’ll take 1 week of top watering before these dry amendments are available to the plant so she may stay e looking deficient. I gave her 2 heaping tablespoons & watered her in with 1/2 gallon of ph’d water with (organic)cal mag .

Day 42 - I swapped the plant side and trained them a bit. I also did one last cleaning on the lower buds spots, which it wouldn't get enough light. Day 43 - The plants were heavily defoliated, the one on the left side more than the other. I also watered them a bit more this week.

The temperatures, humidity, height, and watering volume(if measured) in grow conditions are all averaged for the week. The pH is soil pH. Any watering done by me is well water which is 7.6 pH and 50° F. Any listed nutrients are ml/gallon of soil spread evenly across the top of the soil. Day 1 we had plenty of rain this morning with partly to mostly cloudy skies. The high temperature was 86°F Day 2 we had a high temperature of 91°F. Skies were clear but it was super humid. I defolated some more today. I watered 3-4 gallons from the hose. Day 3 we had a high temperature of 94° with partly cloudy to clear skies. It was super hot and humid. I watered 3-4 gallons from the well. I'm defoliating a few leaves here and there and opening these girls up. Day 4 we had a high temperature of 94 with average humidity of 94. Skies were cloudy and we had thunderstorms that produced high winds and heavy rainfall. Several of my 7 gallon pots that hadn't rooted into the ground were blown over. Day 5 we had a high temperature of 83°F. It was super humid today and we had a very heavy fog this morning. I watered about 4 gallons of well water. Day 6 we had cooler weather today with a high temperature of 78°F. Skies were partly cloudy and I watered about 3 gallons from the hose. Day 7 we had cooler weather again oday with a high temperature of 79°F. Skies were mostly sunny and I watered about 3 gallons from the hose. Overall this week was a success. Unfortunately all three plants have powdery mildew. They are being treated with a bio fungicide. I'm removing leaves a little at a time. I'm going to be more aggressive next week in trying to get this under control. This weather has not helped. We have had one of the wettest, most humid summer since I've been here. Powdery mildew is on several of the native plants along our tree line and yard. It's been an issue and typically fastbuds have had a lot of resistance. This weather has been brutal and I'll be doing what I can to keep this under control. I didn't feed any this week as the plants are showing signs of excess phosphorus and the feather meal breaks down to feed slowly.
