Germination, that says it all! #2 (ghost OG) and #3 (gravely Ghost) popped tails in 24 hours #4 (sour Ghost Kush) popped tail in 48 hours #1 (ghost Beach)popped, but seed did not fully crack and taproot got stuck. I did not notice in time and it died. Dropped a second seed on day 4 and germinated in 24 hours Each seed planted in damp soil once taproot popped. Soil moistened with 250ml per pot in germination area. Voodoo juice in water and Dynomyco in soil blend.

Big defoliation this week! Being my first ever grow I was a little worried but I have been reassured it is for the best so can’t wait to see how she turns out! I have also had a ph issue this week for some reason the ph levels in my reservoir kept dropping I have monitored the ph levels daily topping up the reservoir with more water to raise the ph so hopefully things settle down. This girl is looking better and better every day her stickybudz 😏 are coming along really nicely and is starting to produce more of a smell to her now can’t wait to see the final out come! Day 59, 1st of October 2020: All good CBD blue shark is bushy.... she will get 36 hours darkness in the end of the week so stars flowering. Purple Punch is basically ready but i want more amber trichomes let her maturing a bit more i think 1 week. I keep checking on her. Grow diary 11 Stage 1 Days 1-10 By day 4 all was looking good, she had a root coming out the bottom of the cube. Day 6 I transplanted her to the 3 inch rockwool cubes that had been soaked for 15 mins in this stage nutrient solution and left to drain for 15 mins, then she went into the bigger propagator. Day 10 she no roots coming out the bottom of the 3 inch cube yet. Over the last few days she has been getting more exposure to the fan, with the lid of the propagator the humidity is on the low side, but i want to get some air movement around her. She has grown o.k over the last 10 days. She looks healthy enough and is where I would expect her to be in growth. She is the ugly duckling of the grow so far, I always find when I grow gorilla glue or anything crossed with a gorilla glue I get funky 1st and usually 2nd sets of leaves. Im enjoying this autoflower run so far its showing me a little nutrients can go a long ways. Not just 10ml or plus every feed out of the bottle. I've been feeding 1ml or less. Ph is simple easy I barely have to go no more then .4 each feed to up my ph. I hope I she stretch well before flowering 💐 best of growing

End of Week 8 (First week of flower) Increased the CO2 to 1200ppm and the ladies love it, already started stretching within the first 3 days of flower which shows that CO2 definitely boosts the grow cycle of cannabis. The main top-sites are popping up everywhere and everything looks evenly spread out. I defoliated again because the fan leaves are growing so fast and blocking bud sites. I also did one last lower canopy maintenance and removed small and stalky bud sites and stems below the trellis net to make sure I get maximum energy distribution to the main colas. I also added some GHF BioEnhancer to make sure the soil-microbes are happy and that the plants reach their maximum potential. Pest Report: EXTERMINATED! Thrips VS Ladybugs VS Neem Oil... I decided to fight fire with fire - I purchased Swirski-Mites from Koppert (They are beneficial insects that feed on the eggs and larvae of thrips and other unwanted pests). As for the adult thrips - I got very lucky and found about 10 Ladybugs in my garden and decided to introduce them into my grow room as they will feed on adult thrips and any other unwanted pests. Then to be extra sure I know that neem oil hinders the life cycle of pests like thrips causing them to stop colonising in my grow room. So I sprayed the ladies every day during the dark period to make sure there are no pests that I or the Ladybugs have missed. Mission accomplished. No more wilting and definitely no more thrips.

5/1 Trainwreck is starting to absorb it's leaves nutrients. I pluck them as I go. I'm thinking of flushing Amnesia here soon too. Edit: decided to take a chunk of Amnesia without flushing to see if I can get a flavor difference between flushing and not flushing. I'll be keeping the first clipping in a separate grow tent with fan set to 70F with a max of 60% humidity, I don't think I'll be able to get it to 60F in this tent, but I'll experiment with it and a second humidifier. It's currently 74F and 36% humidity. I wonder if putting a humidifier in there will lower the temperature to the correct level. I'll try. 5/2 Watered both with PH'd tap water. The tent is starting to smell distinct; probably of dead chlorophyll as the plants start absorbing their leaves. The clipping of Amnesia in the other tent is starting to smell a bit like hay. After a couple of weeks of drying, I'll trim and move it into Grove bags to let the terpenes come through during curing. 5/7 Trainwreck's leaves are turning more and more yellow. Gonna check the trichomes on both here soon. Giving them another plain PH'd watering today.

Let's go to the finale. The eighth and final week of flowering. The flowers are hard as a rock. The trichomes are milky and sometimes an amber hue appears.

Ok so getting a bit concerned. I'm trying to keep nutrients low, but am noticing spotting on some other leaves and some of the white pistils lower down are growing in brown instead of white. Spotting on at least one of the plants has gotten to the degree I've trimmed it a bit and the lower leaves look fine. Please let me know if you see an issue with any of the above pictures / advice. - Update: Ok looks like I have a bit of light burn and possibly some nutrient issues as well. Have been adding more cal mag. Trying to water a bit less than was as may not have been letting the coco dry out enough. And I have moved my LED lights as far up as is possible currently to try and see how it goes, not sure If I've mucked this up or will still get a decent harvest. Any thoughts and suggestions are welcome. Even split open a stem where I had to remove a leaf earlier and had a look inside just to be sure. There are lots of little circle type globs on the leaves, but I take it this is trichomes and not eggs.

Day 2 of week 8. End of week pictures to follow in a few days. I'll be bumping up the PPMS to 850 a they show no signs of any issues.

The girls have been doing great this week ❤️ lots of fattening and stacking. They are giving off a greasy kerosene smell mixed with sandalwood at the moment and are stinking up my house whenever the tent is open. I have had to run my exhaust fan at level 10 for the past 2 weeks so that the smells aren’t overwhelming when you walk in. Temps have been consistent, and I haven’t had the need for added humidity, it’s been steady around 55-60% I have turned the fans up to ensure good airflow, hopefully we can just ride her out to some fat colas !

So, with the harvest complete and the dry finished, the rest is now going into jars for the final cure and storage. Overall I enjoyed this grow, it needed minimal interventions and had a smaller work load compared to the other grows. The amount of dried flowers is 752g (1.11gpw) so a decent haul, I threw a lot of B grade buds in the hash bag due to the large number of low level flowering sites (I need to rethink my canopy management) and also with the lack of stretch after flipping made the internodal spacing a bit too tight. Managed to extract 215g of grade a hash from her as well which I have pressed into a slab (pictures). I learned many things along the way, namely root health and the importance of keeping organic additions as low as possible. I also decided to try out clones for my next run, just to get a little more canopy and growth consistency - those of which are in an aeroponics tub at the moment waiting to root (picture). The fun is starting! Lots of pistils popping on her and she’s stretching! At this phase when I see sites I foliar feed with liquid manganese, 1 ml per gallon, and do this one time, after week 3/4 when I really see trichomes I don’t foliar feed anymore I also am using a bunch of new nutrients for this run that I honestly did a lot of eye measuring once I got it down lol, so feel free to ask any questions and I’d be glad to fill you in! I used every ingredient from silica to microbes and enzymes, sulfur, molasses etc, I felt like a mad scientist this run lol
