Things are coming along nicely, did a major defoliation yesterday and didn't seem to bother the ladies at all. I took 2 clones off a few weeks ago just for giggles and they seem to be doing ok I was a little concerned about throwing in under such intense light right away but it didn't seem to affect them all. All in all I'm quite pleased with the way this is turning out since I haven't grown since ~2010-2011 hoping for the best since they are getting a little frosty this early.

March 08 I left the air purifier on by accident again last night so there was a blue light overnight. The buds look good though. I taped the window up so I'm no longer having a humidity issue at night. I alternate between having the light on at 100% and 75% and recently 50% as well. March 10 I just fed them Ph'd water with molasses. Runoff pH 6.2-6.5, ppm 200-600. I'm having trouble getting good shots of the trichromes but I'm starting to see more amber ones. Less than 5%.

Ginger Nut Cookies & Aussie Music Videos Week 16 Harvest 17 th April 2020 This Entire feminised seed making and growing project was a very good learning experience for me. Right from the very start, when I successfully got a Cutting ,taken from a Barneys Farm Red diesel female plant to produce feminised pollen after treating it with a silver thiosulfate solution. I then used it to pollinate a Fastbuds Girl scout cookies auto plant and let it grow to maturity. This only produced 3 viable seeds one of which is the subject of this Diary. I made up the name "Ginger nut cookies" after a variety of cookies we have here in Australia that are made with ginger. They are the same colour as the distinct red hairs on the red diesel buds. And would you believe those same vivid red hairs were passed on to this plant so I wasn't too far off the mark with the strain name. Her flavour however is nothing like red diesel or girl scout cookies and infact as taken on a smell and aroma all of it's own. She has a lovely tropical fruit like taste and the smell is a bit like fruit yoghurt. It has an unreal after taste on the exhale and the lingering second hand smoke smells very sweet and enticing. She has a pretty well balanced high too not as potent as the GSC nor as energenic as the red diesel but just a pleasant mix of the two. It was a very easy to grow and undemanding plant that didn't seem to require a lot of extra feeding other than the 100% organic nutrients that were within the soil and a few things like compost teas etc. The other element of this diary was of course the weekly Aussie music videos That I provided the links for and put up a little video clip preview of each Artists song. Week has had ups and downs🙃 Plants seem to be growing fine 🙂 But there is yellowing and spotting still that I cannot resolve.🙄 Day 22- Still having some kind of deficiency/issue. They are growing well, don't really seem to be stunted. I think I may have burnt them with nutes.🤧 Flushing may help. 🤷‍♂️😅 Run-off pH is at 6.08, PPM 266 I have flushed them, lowered feeding... I'm driving myself crazy. Hahaha Update 119 Day 23- Things are looking better. Great harvest but I believe I can do a lot better with what I learned. See the next round coming soon, one last seed on the tube. The last pictures I'll be able to post from Sweet seeds hahahaa the harvest just vanish. As a rule of thumb, I saved the top buds for last and manage to do these pictures for their contest. Enjoy.

Start by saying 2 are in flush now! (Black cream and sunset sherbet) I used flawless finish on them and then water from then on! Started to see some fades within a few days with the black cream and sunset sherbet leaves have lightened up, just awaiting some fades! And I’m watching under a 50x loupe to aim for the perfect harvest! The aromas are crazy in there got all sorts going on until I touch one and identify it’s aromas but as expected everything is going to be full of terps and resin! On the end road now! Flush next feeds for the purple punch and forbidden runtz! I’ve added a picture of the royal creamatic I took out as it’s just jumped into flower! Glad I took her out now too as she has some coverage and I wouldn’t want to lose no light at this stage! End result with dynomyco! IS… use it highly recommend. I’m using it in all my grows from now on! It’s a great additive providing your plants with a lot more beneficial bacteria that aid the myco and allow the plant to uptake nutrients better and gain a lot more stability so it’s a must! Contest or no contest I’m glad I got to use it or how would I have known! Thank you Ari 🙌🏽🙏🙏🙏💚

Last day of week 5 flower today. Like I said earlier, the cookies haze is a bit behind in flower. So counting that as last day of week 2 Just a little update for you guys

Got a dehumidifier it’s reading different from what mine controller 69 is saying but I have it set at 40% it’s the lowest so it’s going pull humidity regardless right now it’s about 53% which is okay would like it to get down to the 40’s I also changed the light schedule today to 20/4 the humidity raises at in my tent when lights are out so I figured change it to 20/4 instead of the 18/6 I’ve been running so if humidity does go over it won’t be for as long as before hopefully this works just trying to avoid any mold situation So far the Amneisa Haze 2 is at stretching she’s going be big I can but the haze 2 is done seems to just be flowering the sour diesel is looking good as well so far I’m happy with its looking like left town for two days and the auto watering pots worked!

So cant explain much about dogma nutrients as everything is in grams not ML 🤣 But it is highly recommended, had no issues of nut burn with it and plants seems to enjoy organic grows

Humidity has been the biggest struggle. The dehumidifier I bought was complete useless only moved RH 1% down. Tried a couple different things to try to combat the excessively high RH (75+%) openings up extra flaps in the tent didn’t work so I decided to turn on my carbon Filter fan. Which seems to be maintaining it at 55%, however prior to me being able to start my fan I had to clear the water out of my exhaust ducting. It had accumulated at least 1/4 gal of water, this to me was a clear indication of my humidity problem. Another thing I want to rant about is PH pens I haven’t been able to find a pen worth a damn and yes I have been properly handling them. My first one died on a watering day and I didn’t have a back up so I ordered two more off amazon which don’t seem to be working well either. I ended up doing it the old school way with the drops and shaking it in a tester. Oh I also gave nutrition a break past two feedings I had a slight burn on the tips will probably do one more plain water then put her back on nutrition. Went back to nutrition early then I intend due to a slight nitrogen deficiency I don’t thing it’s gonna be a big issue just gonna continue to monitor.
