Hey all! both plants are doing well and i'm looking forward to the next coming weeks where the flowering stage will come to an end but that is i think in like 4 weeks so? but lets see! happy growing all! 😎✌️💚

Beginning of week.. They are happy and healthy.. Feeding every other watering this week with half a dose of CALiMAGic and half a dose of FloraMicro.... Adding in some Floralicious Plus along with the MYCO+.. Not on the nutes list here so I'm just adding it in here.. Mid week... They are lookin good.. Been watering daily.. Gonna try to see if I can get away with every other day.. They got a good, late watering today so they should be good for 48 hours in between waterings.. This medium has ALOT of Springtails.. Those fuckers are really getting annoying.. They dont seem to hurt the plants (as far as I can tell).. But when you're seeing literally probably 100,000 every day in the runoff.. I'm a little nervous of any issues to arise. But so far the plants are looking great.. Growing.. Happy.. Healthy.. 😁 End of week.. Whoops.. Didnt get a chance to take any pics.. Afghan Original was developed by crossing several Afghani Indica landraces, so there’s only 100% Afghani cannabis genetics behind it. Potent, sturdy and perfect for novice growers as well as more experienced enthusiasts with bigger demands. A resin production champion it can be conveniently used for hasheesh making! Afghan Original has been probated by hundreds of growers and proven a sturdy, fast growing Indica that yields heavily and can sustain minor mishaps. Afghan Original can be regarded as “the very Afghani cannabis” that any devoted stoner feels obliged to try at least once! Mostly grown out of doors, but Afghan Original works for indoor growing just as brilliantly. Perfect choice for hydroponic/aeroponic setups, green houses and even balconies! Provide at least 18-20 litres for a full-size root system if using soil or substrate. Feel free to make Afghan Original cannabis bushier by using any training techniques such as LST, FIM or topping, ScroG or SoG, mainlining or supercropping. About 35-50% increase in yielding can be expected after training! Resistant to molds. Insect pests are guarded away with aggressive hashy stench – another superpower of Afghan Original! Sometimes plants need supports further into flowering to stay vertical (weighy colas). Outdoor harvesting time is late September – early October.

Cal mag deffeciency. No problem I knew I would run Into it using soil nutes. Some rapid growth on most sherberts. Pink kush Is more stubborn and difficult but one of them seem to be thriving. Not sure why most pink kushs are just a bit slower. The seeds also seemed to NOT be germinating as fast as all the other strains. This is some really solid genetics so far with some rapid growth to them. Scrog installed 20 - 23 cm above the highest point of the pots. I will just them grow into the scrog and then train them into the trellis. I might raise the lights so they can stretch just a bit. Call mag issue was fixed very fast changing to Coco nutrients and i have some really healthy growth now at the end of week 4

I think they've been under attack from the outdoor critters but trichomes all cloudy so may chop in a fee days before any budget has chance too appear as wheather is terrible atm! 🌱

Its finally harvest day. It seems she would need 4-5 days more until harvest but she is to small and she cost me too much so i harvest her with the other small ones to get space for another plant.

Completely forgot to update like an idiot, but these videos were taken two days ago. Pheno 1&2 are both male, so I'm just hoping this last one is female. I might flower when I get back from vacation to just speed this process up but I guess well see.

Week 2 going good suns finally came out! Grown in a small put I wasnt expecting much but its grew pretty well so far and Also got a few side projects growing strawberry's!

Well the outdoors girls have had a right old fight in this extreme change of wheather and unfortunatley it shows! Ahh the British wheather allways strikes! Shes is actually all cloudy and will harvest soon as see Amber's in hope too catch her before any serious issues but other than that shes showing lovely little colours coming through and very very smelly 🌱💚

The fade has begun as this strain is 60-70 days. The buds are vey dense, frosty and sticky. many ot he leaves have now faded and some havr fallen off. It has a very sweet smell

After defoliation? She bounced back like nothing happened. No stall. No stress signals. Just structure, stacking, and deep healthy green. That’s not luck. That’s environment + balance. And she’s beautiful. ⸻ Environment — Playing on the Edge (But Controlled) Room Conditions • Canopy Temp: ~28°C • RH: ~70% • CO₂: 1000+ ppm • PPFD: 800 → 1300 µmol/m²/s On paper, 28°C + 70% RH sounds high. But numbers without airflow mean nothing. Massive Airflow We’re running: • Strong horizontal movement • Vertical air displacement • Active air exchange • Under-canopy circulation Airflow changes everything. Stagnant 70% RH is dangerous. Moving 70% RH behaves very differently. ⸻ 🍃 Leaf VPD vs Room VPD Room VPD says one thing. Leaf VPD tells the real story. Under strong light, leaf surface temperature runs slightly above ambient. That increases transpiration. Add 1000+ ppm CO₂: • Stomata don’t need to open as wide • Photosynthesis rate increases • Plants tolerate higher humidity • Metabolism stays high That’s why they’re not just surviving. They’re pushing. ⸻ 💡 Lighting Strategy — Scaled to Structure We are not blasting everything equally. • Larger tops: up to 1300 µmol • Smaller plants: ~800 µmol Light intensity is matched to plant size and leaf mass. No ego lighting. Only usable photons. ⸻ 🔦 Under-Canopy Lighting — Why? This isn’t a gimmick. Purpose: • Illuminate lower bud sites • Reduce larf • Stimulate lower-zone photosynthesis • Improve uniformity • Keep lower canopy metabolically active We’re not replacing top light. We’re filling in where dense canopy blocks energy. Active lower buds stay healthier. Healthier lowers improve airflow. Better airflow stabilizes microclimate. Everything connects. ⸻ 🔴 End-of-Day Red (15 Minutes After Lights Off) We run a 15-minute red pulse at lights-off. This is phytochrome management. Plants operate with two main phytochrome states: • Pr (red-absorbing) • Pfr (far-red absorbing) Red light pushes phytochrome into the active Pfr state. In darkness, Pfr slowly converts back to Pr. By giving a short red signal: • We influence phytochrome equilibrium • Support flowering signaling • Encourage structural consistency • Potentially stabilize transition timing It does not extend photoperiod. It manipulates light signaling — not day length. And as always: We experiment. We observe. We document. No magic claims. ⸻ 🌱 Feeding & EC — They’re Hungry • Soil EC: 0.9 • Feed EC: 2.4 This tells us something important. They’re eating aggressively. As long as runoff EC stays stable and does not climb: We maintain strength. High metabolic demand requires high input. If soil EC rises? We adapt immediately. No rigid formulas. This week marked a serious shift. The main colas are swelling fast, and you can clearly see the difference compared to last week. Structure is tightening up, buds are stacking, and weight is starting to show. The side buds are finally coming in, building up volume after a slower start. I’ve cut back on the heavy PK (Boom Nutrients) and switched to Overdrive by Advanced Nutrients for the next week. The idea is to push the final stretch without overfeeding or stressing them out. What’s wild is how Medusa F1 seems to change overnight—this strain really doesn’t play around in late flower. In just the last two weeks, the visual progress has been drastic. Space is still a big question mark. Running 7 plants in a 90x90 tent is tight, but airflow and light coverage are holding up for now. The big question is whether it’ll translate to actual yield or just look impressive. So far, so good. Let’s see if these girls can fill out the tent and make it all worth it.
