I love this strain cant wait till she finished. Never done it by crop king before. Not to familiar with there genetics. Heard there pretty good and have some dank.

End of week 7(day 50 to be exact). Her buds are starting to put on lots of mass. At this point only the buds in the center of the scrog are still upright on their own. I backed down on my light intensity a bit (on day 46) as she started to foxtail on me a little. Was running about 1600par in the convergence area between the two lights and about 900 on the edges. Backed the lights down to about 550(center) and 375(edges). She has been liking it and has stopped yellowing. She will be on this light intensity for the last couple of weeks. Trichomes are still mostly clear with a few cloudy/amber, so she will definitely be going the full 10 weeks. I backed down to half strengrh on her feed and added a good dose of epsome salt to give her a mag/sulfur boost ti promote ripening. She smells amazing. Earthy dank with a strong overtone of fruit. This pheno will be a breed mother for me in a couple of runs. The best clone is going to a homie's place to be kept in veg. He wants to run her too so we will take cuttings for cycles at his place and i will later when im ready to cross her.

Seems to be going good, idk if I should ad more bloom booster or just use molasses. Also the broken cola I replanted, seems to still be alive but don’t really know what else to do. Just hope I can get these out of some random guys back yard soon.

7/14: Watered her today. Just plain water. Filled up half gallon jug of water. Filled reservoir back first line. 7/16: Bumped light intensity to 45%. Topped off reservoir at night. 7/18: Watered her today with the the leftovers of some treated water with Rapid Start from her half gallon jug. Prepping for new nutrient schedule next week. A little confusing but i put my other to pineapple and the Hulkberry in this tent and send it into flower 2 days ago (14.3.2023) I believe the plants might have a nitrogen deficency but we are on it. Q. What is the psychoactive effect like? A. Like the flavors, many people have commented that the "buzz" is somewhat different than other mainstream types out there. It's not entirely out of the scope of imagination that given that this strain has new alleles in so many other respects, that it could also contain new, unique cannabinoids, as well as new and unique terpenoids, some of which may not even be among the standard 16 or so that the average lab is testing for. Let me explain, about 20 yrs. ago a friend gave me a jar of seeds labeled "BC Bigbud" and I sprouted flats of hundreds to look for oddities and had found one web-leaf pheno which we named Webster. It was a female so I bred it to a normal leaf male and began selecting and stabilizing a line of Webster. About 5 or 6 generations later I had nailed it to 100% webs and had also stabilized it for a deep purple color and a nice "gingerbread" terp profile. I was busy working other lines at that point so I put Webster in the library. Also, I was having a hell of a time getting a pheno of it that flowered to my satisfaction. (it seemed to finish with a limited number of calyxes). I knew I would have to outcross it to something with a big tasty bud and restabilize it for web-leaf, and I no longer had the original BC Bigbud. I still have the Webster seeds, and trust me the thought has crossed my mind to make the cross with Freakshow, but why? Why mess around crossing things just to create something even weirder? I have heard that the "Duckfoot" also doesn't bud up well so maybe there's a correlation there. Anyway, people can do what they want to and I will too, but crossing Freakshow with some low-THC crap like ABC is in my opinion idiotic. I worked extremely hard stabilizing and perfecting a beautiful new subspecies and I believe it should be kept pure. I won't go on a rant here about the rampant crossing and the lack of line-breeding in the cannabis world in the last several decades, or where this will eventually lead us, but I will say that it's not in a good direction. Bottom line....Freakshow has no web-leaf genes, it was made using top-grade tropical narrow-leaf drug (NLD) cultivars. Q.Why is Freakshow patented? A. Update February 4, 2019 (Video and Pics actually taken Feb 1). I’m figuring I’m about mid-way into flower now with the 6 girls I have flowering. Overall, I’m very happy with how things are going. The buds are coming in strong on all plants, they are stinky and sticky and I’m not complaining about anything really. But, I still see more yellow than I like. Last week I fed Recharge, Mammoth P, MegaCrop, and CalMag+. I don’t feed all of those at once, Recharge & Mammoth P one time, MegaCrop & CalMag+ the next, then the 3rd is usually straight water. I also seem to be able to go at least a day between waterings/feedings. Anyway, yellowing leaves during flower seems to be most common with a Nitrogen deficiency as far as I can tell. I’m tempted to feed in a round or two of veg nutes to see how that goes. One more thing… I transplanted my clones and seedlings into larger nursery pots today. They were transplanted into pots with soil that has been composting/recharging for almost a month now based on some of the tips from the books I have been reading. I’m excited to see how they react to their new environment.

D01 - 25/09 -> New Home for my fellows clones coming from one of biggest plant I ever saw: a Royal Queen Seeds Skunk XL D02 - 26/09 -> I think she has a little zinc deficency, so i dropped down to ph to 5.5 D03 - 27/09 -> Topped one girl to see what happens. If everything goes well, I'm going to topping all of them. Increased EC until 1.3 D04 - 28/09 -> Topping of other buds D05 - 29/09 -> Rest for the girls. Increased EC until 1.5 D06 - 30/09 -> SCROG Net Setup and a little of defolation. Tomorrow I'm going to cut all the branches below the red line (see picture). I want to make a main lining alongside the SCROG Net with 2-3 branches and cut off all the branches below except for the girl on the left that is too short yet. D07 - 01/10 -> I Cut off the branches of only one girl, waiting to see her reaction to the stress before to do the same to other girls. Increased EC until 1.8.

Week four was definitely the week when the plants started to really grow bigger, I started some LST at my way cause even if I check thousands of videos I end it up doing what I thought was better for my plants, I perhaps was a bit late so it wasn’t stretching as I thought it would have, maybe I shouldn’t have wait this long, but again first time learning a lots.. I let the plant grow with LST only in week 4 in week 5 I introduced a scrog I made myself cause I thought that I couldn’t keep doing lst because I started too late

Week 7 of flower, she is pushing along well. I went ahead a began flush and cut the feed. I want to fade her out nicely. I tied down her lower branching and really opened her canopy up. She is nice and bushy, running budsites up and down each cola. She looks like she may need another 2 weeks. But we shall see. She is very sticky and has fuel/pine terps coming off her. Her buds are starting to swell, but calyxes not very dense/firm yet. May need to let her go for maybe 3 more weeks to fill out nicely.

Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. Another week begins, I've been a bit busy but when I have time I come here, apparently this plant is very healthy, it looks great, I'm waiting for the driver to arrive for another panel that I have to flip to 12/12, but if it takes too long I won't wait any longer. This plant has an interesting growth and no type of training was done on it, I'll keep it like this I just hope it doesn't take up all the space in the tent..
