Second run with these genetics, I ran her last time in a 5.4 gallon container, I got the grape pheno, higher yield with the first run, but much tighter nugs with this run. This one smells much more earthy/gassey and less grapey. I ended up with just under 26 zips of nugs, 2 zips of Larf which I will turn into canna sugar, and my buddy made a 35 gram brick of bubble from the trim. It should be dry in the next few days and I'll post a video of the squeeze, hoping to get around a zip of rosin which I will split with him since he turned the bubble...Super excited to squeeze some nugs once the cure is done, Ill post vids of them as wel. Next run I'm planning to try and cram 2 plants inside a 5X5, build mainlines, and flip by week 6 or 7....Switching to two 315 W CMH bulbs up top, and LED's on 2 of the sidewalls for supplemental lighting. Week 2 Franky is stretching. It needs more water than usually. I pick out leaves from the bottom part every day. In roundabout 10/12 days I will do a big defoil. Till then I might take off a leaf here and there to stop it from overstretching

All but one plant is starting to grow pistils. These plants are getting a little out of control being cramped in this 4x4. I defoliated just before flipping to flower, and they needed another touch-up. I'm a little worried this will cause me to have to do frequent touch-ups or kill one or two plants and create some space. I'm leaning more toward killing 1 or 2 plants, rather than risk all of them getting overly stressed from too many defoliations. I completely underestimated how much these Cannabis plants would grow, especially once they started to stretch. I'm going to start saving the water that is collected through the dehumidifier. Diary Day 36 Plant was watered with nutrients in these concentrations: -    FloraSeries Gro-->1.2 mL/L -    FloraSeries Micro-->1.2 mL/L -    Flore Series Bloom-->1.2 mL/L PPM ~set to 600 Day 37 Some calmag issues could be seen on lower leaves. Plant was watered with the same nutrient solution as day 36. Fifth node is already growing so I will be topping soon. Day 38 Plant was watered with the same nutrient solition as previous days. PPM measure was around 540. Day 40 Plant was watered with the same nutrient solution as previous days. PPM measure was 720 so i had to dilute it to 550. Day 41 Plant was secured to a stick because of strong winds. I let the soil dry a little bit too much this day but nothing sirious. Plant was fed with the same nutrient solution as previous days these week. Plant is happy but the lower leaves are still browning a little bit. Weather report: Day 36 Weather is still moody so plant was left insidr Day 37-38 Weather is sunny, plant was moved outside. Day temperatures were 24 °C during day and 18 °C during night Day 39-42 These days were a lot better than usual. It was sunny, day temperatures were around 30 °C. That's all for this week.

Nice bud formation this week. I didn't notice that the reservoir pH jumped up to over 7 pH for at least one fertigation. That seems to be what caused the reaction seen on the leaves in the form of some yellowish spotting. I corrected the reservoir, hopefully this fixes it.

Not much to report. Just chugging along. Been on 12/12 for a week but I consider it veg until I see pistils on the tops. Waiting for them to start popping pistils. I had to harvest my Blue Dream plant early due to some larger mold spots I found on the buds. To prevent the mold from spreading to my other plants, I acted quickly and made the cut. Unfortunately, this meant I couldn't give her a proper flush. Despite the abrupt end, the aroma of the buds is fantastic, and I'm optimistic about the taste. During trimming, the scissors became sticky with resin, which is a good sign of potency. I carefully harvested bud by bud to ensure I didn't miss any mold-affected areas. Unfortunately, the main bud had the worst mold spot, so I had to take it apart. It's puzzling since they were never outside during rain and only had to contend with morning dew. Overall, I'm pleased with this grow and feel humble. It was an incredible journey filled with challenges and triumphs. I'm looking forward to enjoying the fruits of my labor and learning from the experience. Thank you to all my growmies for following along and being part of this learning experience. After 9 days of drying, I brought the Blue Dream buds into my apartment for the final trim before jarring. The initial yield was 40 grams, but during my last inspection, I discovered more mold spots, this time buried deep within the buds. Unfortunately, all the larger colas were affected, forcing me to take the buds almost completely apart. In the end, I managed to salvage 21 grams of pure, healthy buds without any mildew. I also set aside 6 grams of “quarantine” buds, which I’ll dry separately. Sadly, I lost 13 grams to mildew—a tough blow, but one of the harsh realities of outdoor growing. It’s disheartening, especially since three other friends experienced similar losses this season. Honestly, I’m not sure what I could have done differently, aside from discarding the plant earlier. But even with these setbacks, if the cured buds taste as good as they smell, I’ll still consider this grow a success. The genetics from Fastbuds proved to be solid, and I recognize that the challenges I faced were largely due to environmental factors and my own decisions. This was a learning experience, and despite the issues, I'm happy with what I've achieved.

This week I saw an explosion of growth; all four plants seem to be very vigorous and really drinking well. It been about 8 days since I repotted these plants and I am starting to see small capillary roots at the drain holes. I have taken off a few of the largest leaves to maximize light in the canopy, and any of the lowest nodes that look a little shrimpy I culled. Can’t wait for the weather to warm up so they can go outside 💚

9/6 - Looks like 6 of 6 germinated. They are now in the nursery. Going in the Organic direction with this grow. First time trying it but i like the fact that you can have a "living soil", reuse the soil, and a big thing thing for me is that you don't have to flush like you probably should if you use salt based synthetic nutrients. My 2 cents. 9/14 - progressing nicely. Installed a better light source for them.
