They smell like cola sometimes, they are growing so fast it's unreal i think they may be done after 7 weeks! I'm sure i could harvest them now 😅 they look frosty and swollen.

When the tropic is part there is to be afraid. She knows she's fast and she grows rapid, maybe I made her fade a little but now we'll take it right away. Tropicanna is a baby that i redo soon.

On that day, I took a small tea ceremony set with me to the plantation. After enjoying some very good pu-erh tea with a pleasant alertness, we got to work. I also took some photos and shot a few videos. Later, one of these photos would win the "June Photo Contest."

Day 71 - BEAST! a. her size is so large, and the buds are def "Big Bud"! there is resin everywhere, very fruity like pineapple express b. will be topping off the DWC all week with 6.0 water.. gradually diluting the ripening formula, 1300ppm right now, end of week should be at 400ppm, then flush week c. light schedule is now 14 hours on, 10 hours off. this allow the buds to mature properly and become potent, next week probably 12/12. d. still drinking 6 litres of water a day Day 72 - fat buds a. her buds keep swelling outward, the calxes are exploding, some stigmas are turning brown, about 5% b. these buds are very hard, cant understand how dense these are! c. really happy with this strain! Day 73 - 10th day of ripening a. the pistils are slowly becoming brown, maybe 7% of the plant has matured b. the smell is unreal, VERY fruity and gassy c. ppms have been controlled at 1300ppm with plain water diluting the pool Day 74 - flush beginning a. pumped out 10L from the DWC, and added 10L of 6.0 water, 650ppm b. the flowers are smelling very strong c. the buds are becoming ripe, the stigmas are turning colors Day 75 - pistils 30% orange/red/brown a. set lighting intensity to 50%, simulating the sun moving farther away from the plant like in fall b. drinking 5-6L a day still c. the buds are very hard, thick and oily, the resin on my hands smells very good Day 76 - maturing great a. cutting down the temperatures, and humidity and lessening the intensity of the light always causes nice dense matuation b. DWC running de-chlorinated tap water, 140 ppm c. next week is all flush week, and turning to 12/12 d. she is still drinking 5-6 litres of water a day! e. the buds are maturing very nicely, the smell is INTENSE! Day 77 - mature buds a. the buds are maturing, calyxes are swelling, and the buds are getting heavier b. about 50% orange stigmas, trichomes there are still some clears left, no amber visible yet c. dried the top off this plant after cutting it and it was a nice little buzz, decided to leave the rest to finish flowering :) mango and floral smells coming from this plant. need tograb myself a jewelers loupe as soon as possible, until then does anyone have any suggestions as to when to harvest this, its quite sticky but i think it could need another few weeks. Day 65 - 11/11/19 Flushed the plant with Phed tap water at 140ppm. used 3.2 liters to achieve runoff. ive decided to harvest this plant next week. considering it was an experiment to see if i could sprout a seed and went through its many issues along with average conditions im glad to get any harvest off this plant. its very sticky, smelly although the buds are small. Im going to trim the plant and then dry it by hanging them in a box and placing the box in the tent near the intake for fresh air. any suggestions please comment below. id say il learn a thing or two while harvesting :) Day 67 - 13/11/19 Decided to take the main cola from this plant today. its got stunted throughout the grow as this was the first plant i have ever germinated and grown :) I will upload some pictures! Il leave the lower parts of the plant to fatten up in the next days as they dont look matured enough yet. exciting harvest times haha. After harvesting the top: smoked a few of the pods that grow pistils out of them in a bong and it hit me nicely :) added some pictures of a few small buds and i was impressed. loads of trichomes all over! for a rough first try i think this turned out good. will harvest the rest of the plant in about 10 days when my pruning shears get here :) (used scissors this time :D) Someone told me to watch out for harvesting these plants at different times. i didnt pay enough attention and now the drying process is slightly awkward. i cut a cereal box to allow fresh air in and hot air out the top and to minimize light degrading thc on the buds while drying. i spread the buds and trim out and left it near the passive intake on my tent. will probably be 3-5 days to dry. cant wait to sample the dry buds! and ive seen people online saying the Rhino Pro filters were garbage but i havent had one single issue, mine blocks all smells just incase anyone was thinking on buying one. i got a size larger than i needed as i have heard is more effective :) Day 68 - 14/11/19 i have been drying a few buds for 18 hours in the tent now and decided to test them. a nice head high. wasnt quite matured enough yet and wasnt fully dried or even cured but very nice :) cant wait to harvest fully in a few days time!

Harvested Plant #2 and Plant #3 at 11 weeks. Still have #4 and #5 to go. They are just about ready. Been waiting until the leaves turn purple. These plants have been flushing for weeks because I thought they were going to be done sooner, but they haven't missed a beat. They have a very strong, sweet smell. I highly recommend Cobbler Crisp!!!

1/25/2024 Vegetation Week 3 Day 1- took 2 Tops today and cleaned up a few lower leaves that were hanging down. The FiM seems to have worked well and looks like I have three branches coming in where it was FiMed. 1/26/2024 Vegetation Week 3 Day 2- took 2 Tops from the sides and took a little of the foliage that was touching the lid. I noticed a slight red coming in on the STEMS which I added a pinch of EPSOM salt to help correct. I’ve added VPD to my dashboard and have now dialed in my climate for a perfect VPD. Home assitant dashboard controlling lamp, up/down humidity and cooling. Exhaust is going to be used to scrub the air and back into the tent. After adding C02 I’m now doing a sealed grow to take better control of the environment. I was dealing with high temps I put a evaporative cooler just in case if I need to up the humidity or lower the temps.

8/26 FED TODAY. 2 GALLONS TO THE GARDEN. THE WATERING CAN I USE IS ABOUT A HALF GALLON SO THAT'S WHAT A NORMAL PLANT HAS BEEN GETTING. Wow. What a week I had last week. I'm hoping things are going up from here. It's overcast but we have a 90% chance of rain. Thunderstorms. I'm wondering if I should put my back tarp up. The wind doesnt seem too bad so I'll play it by ear. The remaining plants seem to be doing good to me. I wanted to let the soil dry out but I NEEDED to feed. Buds are popping up everywhere and increasing in size. Earwigs still seemed to lollipop the interior branches (mostly larfy stuff but still). I attached a picture so people can see what I mean. I'm getting hit on all fronts but I'm still kicking! I'll update as I go. Some pictures won't upload. I'll have to do it later. Oh and my ph is on point for once. I tested all plants a bunch of different places and readings were 6.6 to 7.3 at the highest. 8/27 Rained last night but not as bad as I thought it would. We are supposed to have some good weather coming up so I'm hoping my medium will get a chance to dry put. Still liking the liquid kool bloom. I'll up the dose next feed. I'm going to need to do another application of plant doctor this week too. It's about time for a BT application as well. I see moths flying off when I check early in the morning and I've observed some pillar damage. I'm slightly worried about soul going anaerobic. The color of the gdps are too lime green for my liking but our weather has been horrid. I never remember having to deal with shit like this. The branch that was all drooped with fusarium wilt has one (the closest to the stalk) shoot that has repaired itself. That gives me hope but I really should just amputate that branch. I guess I'm just nervous because of the reaction I had last time. Granted I've cut tons and tons of branches off in the past and prune things they didn't have whatever pathogen these do. Septoria is still there on one of the GDPs but it seems to be doing okay. I'm SLIGHTLY worried about the change in color on my big NYCSA. It's lost some of its vibrancy. I think it's kinda normal. I'm sure it has some PM (which I'm hoping plant doctor and the silica will help repress) but I think it will be a heavy yielding plant. Sun's poking out. The little clones I took are exploding in growth. They might not yield much but I'm glad I didn't just chuck them like I was going too. 8/28 Things are still looking good! We got some sunshine yesterday and the sunshine out today. Buds are really starting to form and colas are taking their shape. I'm slightly concerned with the coloring of my NYCSA but it started flowering later than the others so senescence may be behind. I may have lost half this year but looking at other diaries and attitudes of soms others I'm pretty fucking lucky. I didn't have much time this morning so I'll update later. I need to keep up with my IPM and do BT treatment and follow up with a second dose of plant doctor. 8/29 Super rushed morning. Only had time to shake the dew off the plants and snap a couple quick pictures. I lowered the growbig this week. I think that was a mistake. Plants are flowering like crazy. My NYCSA doesn't seem as vibrant green as it was. I may up feeding to twice a week or at least give them a little growbig if I need to water. I want tge medium to stay dry for a while. I also needcto cut that dead branch. I'm just afraid of a situation line before where the whole plant died. My anxiety disorder really hampers my growing ability. I qorry far too much. I should just cut it off right now. I've also seen pillar damage so I'm going to need to do a BT spray. I have the other organocide that's the 3 in 1 but I can't use it in flower. I'll just have to stagger applications. Either that or do another root drench or "sprench" and a foliar with the BT on another day. I have WPM on the garden and I'm pretty sure septoria. This plant was perfect though. I'm afraid it might be getting sick. Either way it'd an extremely resilient strain. The little 9lb kush I have in a 3 gallon is flowering the fastest. It really fuckihgcsucks I lost those massive plants. Judging by this "clone" I took off the other clone (I know) this strain wouldve been the first to finish. EDIT: Went back over to check the medium and do some slight defoliation. I inspected the stalks and the dead branch. The dead branch has a small indent (from breakage, insects or rot) where the branch connects to the stalk. I've seen this before but had no problems. However THIS branch seems to he coming out of the stalk RIGHT where the rot is. I cut the other one off that ENORMOUS 9lb Kush and it was dead a few hours later. I talked to my father who has degrees in biology and forestry (among other things) and he said he couldn't really see the harm in leaving it. I am worried that a cutworm mightve gotten in bit I don't see any evidence of any borer insect. Under that stem there is more "bark" and other stuff but nothing like a borer makes. I'm going back over tonight to treat with either BT or Plant Doctor. Haven't decided which. Probably the plant doctor. 8/30 Didn't have time for pictures. Large NYCSA NOW has fusarium wilt. Either I'm the most unlucky grower in our area or my plants got dosed with fusarium. After the research I've done I've cone to the conclusion that this season will be a complete loss. Maybe the two small separate cuttings will make it through flower. The rest is just a waiting game to see if fusarium kills it before they finish flowering. Even if it doesn't then I don't know if I would want to smoke the flowers. I'm shopping online for grow equipment. I'm going to do some indoor this winter. Wow this feels like a kick in the nuts. I'm a good dude. Like I said I'm just either the unluckily grower around or my plants had a little help. Who knows. EDIT: I treated everything with Pkant Doctor again. I'll feed tomorrow and see if some miracle happens and I actually get something 8/31 I added a few pictures so folks can see what fusarium looks like and how it progresses. As you can see it killed a branch and is progressing to the next and so on until the plant is typically dead. No need to get too scientific on the mechanism of action. I FED 2 gallons today. Still kept growbig low dosing.

It’s day 43 of flower! All of the plants look great! I’m going to start dialing back the light intensity slowly over the next couple weeks. Harvest time is getting close

Amelie has settled in well in the new tent and has gained 4cm in height this week. As she had been standing on the piano by the window under a 7W lamp for a really long time, waiting for a tent to finally become available, she had produced a lot of leaf material. This now had to come down. On 08.03.25 I therefore lollipopped and did some defoliation on the leaf canopy. Now it is nice and airy again and can concentrate fully on flowering. Incidentally, the pistils were already visible on 03.03., 8 days after the start of flowering. I had sent the mother into flowering in the previous run and fed her with Biobizz Grow/Bloom/Calmag and Plagron Green Sensation. As I still have a sample of Biobizz Topmax here, I thought I'd give it a try and see what effect it has on the taste. It's supposed to be sweeter, I've heard.

Girls are really full on flowering!!! They all seem super happy! Been trying to get on a better flushing regiment as it seems to really help around harvest with salt build up using general hydroponics nutrients. I can already see some buildup around the fabric pots. Gonna do a basic pesticide foliar spray with azomax. I don’t see any pests but I’d like to keep it that way esp since I’m flowering now. But everything is going as planned and keeping a watchful eye on them. Oh and also did a little defoliation again...the Maui seems to just keep bushing out while the dosi just wants to stretch!! Super impressed with the genetics and resilience of these 2 strains

01/28/23 - Gave her another round of haircut and lollipop. Under the canopy looks lot cleaner. I have better air circulation and light penetration now. Defol also exposes lot more cola sites to the light. Hoping she doesn't go in shock since it's an auto. She is a late bloome, I am just starting to see more pistils. So most likely she will live in the tent for another couple months! 01/29/23 - She drank a gallon of fox farm nutrients (grow and bloom). I was worried about sending her in shock with latest defol. The way her canopy turned out a day later, absolutely gorgeous 😍! 02/01/23 - Frustratingly did another round of defoliation. I see pistils but she is not ready to come out of vegetation. I might contact ILGM to figure out what's going on here. 02/03/23- End of week 9 for this girl. Still in preflower. The bud sites are getting thicker and I am seeing more pistils. It's nowhere near where I want it to be but I've decided to give it the time it needs.
