Last week we noticed one of the ladies had begun to show sex. A couple calyxes with barely visible white hairs coming out of them. Seeing as there's no electricity where the garden is located we opted for a 1500 lumen LED lantern, that we turn on at 11:pm every night for about 40 minutes to and hour. This seemed to have done the trick as no more hairs have been seen and the vegging process is back on track.

This strain was easy to grow right from seed. I think it will be one of my favourite strains this grow. Time to dry and cure. I will report the weight when dry. 💚✌️🏼

Discovered a male plant in with my girls in the bigger tent. No pods had burst, it was only about 10 days in to flower. Moved the male to the small tent and moved the older flowering PT clone to the big tent. The larger plant has less time for seeds to develop and while I want seeds, I still want quality bud as well... trying to minimize pollination as much as I can until I have the chance to selectively pollinate branches on each of my girls. This plant got moved to the large tent and ScrOGed. Here’s to hoping I am able to minimize the pollination. This is an end grow and I don’t have any seeds put back so the male isn’t getting chopped until he does fertilize a few females. So far the male has been reduced to three main colas, I hope to only pollinate one branch on each female. Some random seeds from natural pollination are also okay if it happens. Ignore my commentary on the video unless you just want to know about the strains I have lol... a friend has a clone about the same size of the same strain and asked about my grow since getting the same lights I have.

For the first time, I tried working with enzymes in the irrigation water. These are supposed to break down dead roots and plant material in the soil and make it available to the plant as food. I'm curious to see how it goes. After the first three weeks of light changeover the flower transformation is done. Now it is the right time for defoliation and lollopoping. In case of creamy the defoliation was sorely needed. I removed 6 weaker branches. That was the right decision, because I found two pollen sacs on a branch in the shady interior of the plant. Umm, a strange week in growville. I dropped the additional light I added about 7 weeks ago. I'm pretty sure I was bleaching the plant and subsequent to removal of the extra light I now have about an extra inch of growth in each main stem! Definitely suggests I was overdoing it 'proper newbie style'. The new growth is a much deeper green compared the the blanched leaves below. Oh well, live and learn.
