Day 37 - Hitting the ladies with a little LST. My cloner project took a bit of a backseat to life, so I'm a little late in the game to top these babies.... So I decided I'm going to do something I have never done before.... Let these plants grow naturally. Yeah, you read that right, I've never let a plant just grow out without some sort of fun training technique. Even my very first grow was riddled with aggressive plant shaping. This time will be different! This time I will be just doing some very basic LST to open up their branches to more light. I went in and stripped some of the inner growth sites that would have produced nothing but popcorn buds being so hidden from light. I then created anchor points around the grow bags by pushing toothpicks through the holes in the mesh. I like this because it gives me the ability to easily move around anchor points by simply sliding out the toothpicks and moving them where I please. I got the idea from seeing someone else use pushpins once, but I didn't have any on hand. And so, the toothpick hypothesis was born, and so far its working very well! Both ladies look much happier now that they're getting more light to their branches. The leaves on these Blazin' Skywalker plants are just so effing fat that they've been doing a solid job at blocking light to the branches. I tried doing some leaf tucking early on, but the branches just weren't quite long enough for me to properly tuck the leaves behind them and would constantly come un-tucked. She had gotten a bit over watered so I let her go a few extra days between watering. The next morning, she let me know I did the right thing. 💜

Forbidden Runtz is being harvested to make room for another strain. Sour Stomper has one more week then making room for another strain. I didn't supply the enough nutrients and became evident the last few weeks. I made many mistakes that I hope to dial in next run. The whole experience for a first time indoor autoflower was fun and low maintenance. I look forward to the dry product and will update as soon as is happens.

Unfortunately what we never want to happen has happened with my baby.. bud rot.. on day 98 of cycle I found 1 bud with bud rot, cut it off, checked the plant and could not find more.. flushed the plant and wait next day to see how it goes. After 2 days main bud was identified with bud rot too.. so sad.. probably due high humidity in my environment + colder weather we are starting to have.. so on day 101 harvest it.. could go few more days to get more amber trichomes but decided to harvest it to avoid lose more buds .. I will keep watching it to see if no spread when drying :(

“The Thrown” which is my tallest plant gave me some issues this week due to the fact that I had to suppress the plant because of the height. Broke a few branches that I had to tape up which is not a problem. I break branches on the regular around here purposely for growth 😈. Heavy rain this week, so I had to watch out for humidity issues, which I took care of. On top of that my basement flooded, had to break out the water pump. This transition week i’m glad I was able to have more time at home to monitor my plants. 420 Fastbuds FBT2302 Week 4 Weekly update for these two beautiful plants. Both seem about the same height though one is definitely more stacked. I did do a major deforliation on both taking off most bigger fan leafs, even though you can't tell. I'll probably do another mild one as they transition into flower as I'm starting to see pistols forming. I did up the water/feeding to 2000ml every other day alternating from nutes to just ph'd water. All in all Happy Growing

And my army as arrived lol its IPM time with in this case is not preventive but its attacking a situation !!!! In my humble opinion wen growing in organics one fight life with more life and in this case i broth the big guns, i am talking about applying nematodes (steinernema faltiae) with you cant see at naked eye but will do they’re job on the soil and take on a microscopical way, i also am introducing some beneficial bugs to be more exact the stratiolaelaps scimitus they are machines killing trips, soil flies and a bunch of other plages we dont want around our girls and i also invited some Noseilus Californicus as a preventive for Any kind of non beneficial mites. With this i recipe i have faith my girl will be in control until the end of the run were i can clean it all up good !!! Appart from the bugs situation and that this girl is always starving dont ask me how but just in case i start adding NPK in liquid mineral way lol she is doing amazing to my eyes, i mean the bud formation its amazing , i can already see a canopy full of golf balls , she is not an easy one to grow but i believe she will compensate me with amazing fruits, lets see … <3 <3 <3 As always thank you all for stoping by, for checking my journey , for the love support and for it all, i am blessed and humble with you all. Hello guys😍😍 Fifth week of growth. Last week, the plants were a little shocked after topping, but after a few weeks they returned to normal growth. To reduce this shock, I used BioEnhancer fertilizer. And this week I checked the roots. The pots are ready to be Transplat.Thank you for following my project. 🌷farah4weed🌷

Hey guys ✋🏻 it‘s start of week 5 and day 26 of growing for the plants. Today I switched the light to a 12:12 schedule and put up a scrog net. Since my light gets more intense in the middle I build it this way. In the end I hope that all the buds get the same amount of DLI. Starting Flower the plants will need a bit more nutriens during the stretching. I will tug them under the net everytime they grow out of it. But they have to reach it first. I hope they transition well and during the night I will keep the tent as dark as I can by making my living space dark as well. We‘ll see how this week progresses. Happy sunday growmies 💪🏻 Update: today (D29) I watered Nr.1 and Nr.3, since they didn‘t need water yesterday. The EC of Nr. 3 and Nr. 2 were around 2.0 wich is good but Nr.1 had an EC of 6.0!! I think she doesn‘t need as much food as the other two because shes smaller. I watered enough so the EC went down to ≈3.0. I‘m also beginning to tug some shoots under the net but they all will need to reach up. I hope this doesn‘t end in chaos. Thats all, c ya soon🌿

Things are really starting to smell strong and getting fun. Seeing some frosty Trichomes. Excited!

Moving these photos into an album for tester #1 by itself. Originally 3 blind testers were grown alongside other photoperiod plants. Lights were flipped to 12/12 on that grow at the 4 week point (10/12/22). Since that time, some other plants gave been culled and 2 of the blind testers turned out to be autos. This plant is still very small with very tight internodal spacing and it has not shown any preflowers. I have decided to restore the 18/6 lighting schedule to the grow room. This plant can continue to veg, to mature and grow larger. I’ll acquire a tent or figure something out to finish her later. For now she is vegging along. I’ve defoliated and manifolded her. I’ll document her journey here in weekly posts going forwards.

Plant really took off over the last week. I had flushed the soil and been doing water schedule by weight instead of by visual/topsoil moisture. Leaves are almost double the size from this time last week. Moved the light back down a few inches. Update: started some lite lst, mostly just moving big leaves out of the way for smaller branches
