Buds are coming along nicely, they started off with a not so appealing smell but eventually started to smell very sweet. Increased dosage for increased blooming and ripening. Missed update for day 49 but vids from previous day makes up for it. Side note, I created a homemade Co2 bag with ingredients that is easily available and affordable. I don't think I let is have an effect on my buds but it sure did smell awful. After the 5th day, I got rid of it.

We gave her a really good flush (we almost never do this btw), and a fresh top dressing of EWC and her color is starting to come back..new growth looks totally healthy.. really wish she wasn't flowering already but it is what it is.. I also decided to show off our Green Crack in the tote, we're planning to veg her for a long time and with luck fill an entire 4x4 tent..

🌿 Week 10 Update: Entering the "Bulking" Phase (Flower Week 5) We’ve hit a major milestone! The plants have officially finished their "stretch," and we are moving into the most exciting part of the cycle: The Fattening. 🛠️ The "Improvise & Overcome" Moment Sometimes in a grow, things don't go exactly as planned, and you have to know how to handle it yourself. I saw the colas getting too close to the LEDs and didn't waited for a disaster—and I took action and raised the whole tent. That’s the sign of a real grower: being able to adapt your environment to the plant's needs on the fly. By creating that extra headspace, i’ve protected the harvest from light bleaching and heat stress. 💎 What’s Happening Now: • Resin Explosion: This is the week where the "frost" really takes over. Trichome production is ramping up, and the scent is likely getting much more intensely i needed to add some silica. • Bud Architecture: The flowers are no longer getting taller; they are growing "out." They are filling in the gaps and becoming dense. • The PK Hunger: The plants are craving Phosphorus (P) and Potassium (K). ⚠️ Critical Checklist for Week 5: 1. Humidity Drop: RH between 40% – 50%. Dense buds trap moisture, and we want to keep mold (Bud Rot) far away. 2. Airflow: Since i raised the tent, i needed to make sure fans are repositioned to move air across the top of the canopy and through the middle. 3. Watering: They are thirsty! Keeping the moisture consistent, as even a short drought now can stress the production of essential oils. One love growmies 🤜🏼🤛🏻

1/16 it didn’t save the last thing I said on here it’s Tuesday and I just cut off a NUG and she is so good. I don’t need to dry her there’s not a lot of moisture this plant feels more like a crisp salad than anything else it’s just great I can’t even describe it but the smell and taste of the plant is the best and it doesn’t need to be dried. It just is perfect cut it smoke it and I love it it’s the best experience 1/17 👍 1/19 1/20

Happy New Year!!! Over the past week I did some HST bending on my photos and cut down 2 of the 3 Blackberry’s. The branches are starting to recover and straighten out after the HST now. I still have some issues with pale leaves and a few spots here and there. I’m going to try adding some Dolomite Lime with the next watering and think that should help with the paleness. I’m also going to up the amount of CalMag and Mammoth P to see if that helps with the spotting. I’m not sure if I should see the spotted leaves recover or if the spots will remain. I suspect the spots will remain on the existing leaves regardless of what I do at this point, but hopefully no new spotting will develop. The lights went off before I was done taking pics, so some pics will look a little different. The pics with the lights on I had to color correct, they still look a little more on the yellow side than in reality, but much closer to reality than the pre-color corrected versions. Once the lights went off I turned the flash on for my camera, those pics did not need any color correction. You can see the differences in the pics of all plants, the first 2 are color corrected with the lights on, the last 2 are taken with a flash and no color correction. Also all close up pics of the Critical+ are with the lights off and flash on. I read several books on cannabis over the past few days, some good, some not so much. One that I liked was “Marijuana Cultivation Reconsidered: The Science and Techniques For Huge Indoor Yields” by Read Spear. This book is available on Amzon’s Kindle Unlimited service, which costs $9.99/month, but they offer a free 30 day trial (which is what I’m using at the moment). Reed’s book is broken down into 3 sections, the first and third go fairly deep into the science behind growing, he does a pretty good job at breaking it down in easy to understand terms, but I had to read several sections 2 or 3 times to really get it (or just move on with as much understanding as I could digest). The second section is the nuts and bolts of growing. Most was a review but there were several topics he touched on I hadn’t thought of in a while. And again its well written. He also offers the section only in a separate book called “Small Spaces, Big Yields”. If you are not interested in going deeper into the science behind growing, “Small Spaces, Big Yields” is what I would recommend (if interested in reading books on cannabis). I took some notes while reading and I’m going to add some of these notes in my dairy updates over the next few weeks. This week I’m going to include a note on electrical, this should be a fairly basic concept, but it is super important IMO… “Electrical Items In a sealed grow room or in a tent, you will have water pooling on the floor from time to time. There is no avoiding this. Mop it up when you see it, and never put your electrical gear directly on the floor. Never. Not even for a moment. In fact, let me stress this point in bold capital letters. ALL ELECTRICAL GEAR MUST BE MOUNTED SECURELY ON A WALL OR TENT POLE.” -Read Spear I’ll add more did bits like this in my diaries over the upcoming weeks. If anyone has any good book recommendations please let me know in the comments. I’m looking for books that might not be as popular as the ones by Jorge Cervantes or Ed Rosenthal (I’ve read those). I did just order “True Living Organics” by The Rev which I’m looking forward to reading. But I’m looking for more. I really want to step it up and learn as much as possible. Seedling Days 0-6 Veg Day 1/D7 Days 0-7 Growing very strong. Really fast turn around. In veg on the 7th day. Is amazing. 30% in growth rate speed. Healthy & Happy. Holding her own in very hot conditions. RH is 60%. As my tent temp is between 31-35c (thankfully stomatas are still open. As co2 intake hasn't slowed. And, they're pushing through the heat. Good week. Light is great. It's rapid seedling growth is very impressive with the right co2 in a tent that just kisses the lights edges. Perfect umol 1125-1437. This lady is about 80cm away as my light is 100% for the 2 late flowering plants and then it'll be lowered to 70% in the next wk. And lower the distance then. No stretch, no mutos. Good healthy girl thus far. Good week. Diet Full plagron natural line. Shes in her 11L pot with all the extras from their line. And a few more for flowering. Their new Power Bud. And the norm + PK booster. Everything needed will be plagron. Except calmag (I like to control that separately either with cal powder or Epsom salt. Adding both when one is needed. Well, its not needed. Generally I rarely have cal issues. Co2 Jargin. (Not an advised read if you've no interest in co2) Co2 levels are kept within this level. But, I've set on delayed timing. As I need to make sure my plants are eating. So instead of a constant set co2 level. They're eating the level drops as low as 750min 800 (80% when it is dropped before its raised) and this way. I can tell my plants are eating. Its a method of co2 growing. Feed/eat/eat/feed. Its served me well. Saves on co2. But self application can be a bitch so 80% of the times its on fuzzy logic and its resets itself (this hmmmm. Hard to know when your plant is eating. I'll have to get a co2 monitor i can check on my phone. That way, I'll know how often co2 is injected. There's no count. You could of of units used. But, the math on a 10L tank per squirt, (im not that smart) nor would I even attempt it. Yes a co2 calculator can be used. But, that does not account of areas of the tent were the co2 rests on a low level. Co2 intake of the plants/how much they eat. There is a limit I've noticed. In late flowering plants after 10hrs of high co2 use. The intake drops of by about 90%. With autos, they'll eat forever. But id 8 fems and after 10hrs of solid co2 intake 200 ppm every 10m was going down and then late into the cycle they'd eat 200ppm in an hr. So, I'm learning. To know when my plants are eating and not, is just a gift alone. Not having to wait days, to notice an issue. But, it is very demanding. Nutrient 2x-3x the norm and 1-1.5L for fully grown plants twice a day so 2-3L , of which one needs to be nutrients every other day. Lights SE5000 seed-harvest. And this pheno has loved every umol from this beauty. So thankful to Bella for this chance to run a high powered light that has great capability for co2 (you don't need 1000w lights) for 3x3. This spectrum is proven itself everyday the plants co2 intake overall improved by 1/3rd possibly more. (Past test plants were under light as co2 rec) big improvement just finishing off my other plants. The fade alone is stunning. And the push these girls are doing from 50-30% faster across the board speaks for itself. Veggin plants in its 1st week. Day 1-12/12/21 seeds placed in glass of water for 24hours! Day 2-13/12/21 seeds are placed on paper towel!! Day 4-15/12/21 seeds are in soil!!! Day 6-17/12/21 seeds have popped out soil!!!

Week 14! I am starting to get really excited about this plant! She is plumping up and producing a lot of trichomes! Smell is very enjoyable. Fruity, sweet and lemony are smells that come to mind. Doing minor defoliation if I see leaves shading buds.
