Day 43-45: Bud Development and Light Schedule Change
• Auto Fast Pete: Pete is continuing to bulk up, . The aroma is intensifying, and the plant is stretching slightly under the new light schedule. 🌿🌸
• Auto Northern Dragon Fuel: Dragon Fuel is showing impressive bud development as well. The change in light schedule hasn’t slowed her down one bit. 🌱✨
Day 46-48: Adjusting to 12/12 Light Schedule
• Light Schedule Change: This week, we changed the light schedule to 12/12 due to another autoflower in the tent that wasn’t flipping. We couldn’t take any risks, so now all our plants are on a 12/12 schedule. This adjustment has been seamless, and our ladies are adapting well. 💡🕛

• Auto Northern Dragon Fuel: The bud sites are more defined, and the plant is showing no signs of stress. The foliage is lush, and the buds are dense and sticky. 🌱🌟

Laid out the Srog nets with intention to change the light setting next week. Added pre-flower nutes as well as a 1" top dress - with some added nutrient mix. Thoroughly watered and ready to start training.

Man! I am definitely hooked on my new hobby. Harvested 96 grams of smokable bud and 93 grams of bud/leaves that I will be using to make dry ice hash. Took a third of that second weight (31 grams) to account for pure bud (which is more on the low end) and added to my 96 grams of good flower to get the 127 grams total. Made plenty of mistakes that I’m sure dropped my yield, the biggest being the lighting situation. Plants grew right into my light and even got bleached. The height of the plants made the outer colas grow past the high light areas, which made the buds very airy. But overall it was an amazing experience. I learned a lot of things, some that I have already incorporated on my second grow. And even with my drop in yield, I still ended up with more than enough flower to last me to my next harvest, so this was a great grow for me. Thanks to everyone who followed, liked, and commented. Your words were helpful and meaningful.

Rocko's Terp Test featuring: Apokalypse Grow ☀️🔥
Das Wetter bleibt momentan der Chef. Um den sommerlichen Temperaturen entgegenzuwirken, wurde der komplette Lichtzyklus in dieser Woche auf die Nachtstunden von 20:00 bis 08:00 Uhr verlegt. Zusätzlich laufen die beiden XS1500 Pro nur noch mit 40 % Leistung. Ich habe sogar kurz überlegt, den Zyklus auf 21:00 bis 09:00 Uhr zu verschieben, um die größte Nachmittagshitze noch weiter zu umgehen. Vorerst bleibt es aber bei 20:00 bis 08:00 Uhr. In dieser Phase geht es nicht mehr darum, den letzten Ertrag herauszupressen, sondern die Pflanzen möglichst schonend ins Ziel zu bringen. Das Ziel bleibt klar: Fruchtbombe statt Hitzebombe.
Das gesamte System läuft aktuell eher in einer warmen Suppe zwischen 26 und 31 °C, statt wie noch vor einigen Wochen zwischen kühl und heiß zu pendeln. Die Klimadaten lesen sich zunächst kritischer, als die Pflanzen tatsächlich aussehen. Trotz der schwülen Wetterlage zeigen die aktuellen Bilder ein erstaunlich stabiles Bild. Die Pflanzen zehren inzwischen sichtbar aus ihren Blattreserven, ohne dass die Blüten selbst deutliche Anzeichen von Hitzestress zeigen. Angesichts der sommerlichen Temperaturen unter dem Dach sind rund 30 bis 31 °C während der Lichtphase derzeit ein durchaus akzeptabler Kompromiss.
Chicken & Waffles liefert in dieser Woche den wohl spektakulärsten Anblick. Die Zuckerblätter präsentieren sich inzwischen in tiefen Violetttönen bis hin zu nahezu Schwarz und zeigen stellenweise bordeauxfarbene Nuancen, die sich auf Fotos nur schwer einfangen lassen. Zusammen mit der massiven Harzschicht wirkt die Pflanze beinahe eingefroren. Die Spitze erinnert an mehrere kleine Zwiebelkirchtürme. Mit ihren organischen, leicht verdrehten Formen wirkt sie fast wie ein Bauwerk, das einem Hundertwasser-Entwurf entsprungen sein könnte. So eine Optik hatte ich bisher noch in keinem Grow.
Fruit Bomb Punch zeigt in dieser Woche eindrucksvoll, welchen Einfluss das Training auf ihren Wuchs hatte. Durch das wiederholte Herunterclipsen während des Stretchs konnte sich keine klassische Hauptcola entwickeln. Stattdessen bildet die Topblüte aus der Draufsicht einen regelrechten Fünfender mit nahezu gleich hohen Spitzen. Von der Seite wirkt derselbe Bereich dagegen wie ein schlanker Turm aus übereinander gestapelten Blütensegmenten. Die übrigen, weniger beeinflussten Seitentriebe zeigen dagegen die sortentypische Blütenstruktur und machen den Einfluss des Trainings besonders deutlich.
Strawberry AK bleibt ihrer Linie treu. Die klassische Kerzenform mit ihrer markanten Hauptcola ist bis heute erhalten geblieben. Gleichzeitig zeigt sie den deutlichsten Herbst-Fade und verwertet konsequent die letzten Reserven aus ihren Fächerblättern.
Auch bei den Trichomen zeigen sich inzwischen Unterschiede. Chicken & Waffles liegt aktuell leicht vorn, Strawberry AK folgt überraschend dicht dahinter. Fruit Bomb Punch beginnt dagegen gerade erst sichtbar einzutrüben. Ob sie in der kommenden Woche aufschließen kann, werden die nächsten Makroaufnahmen zeigen.
Am Ende entscheidet das Glas. 🍯🌱

22/11/2021 all plants are doing well with some clearly larger than others. they have taken well to the root juice and the bio heaven and will continue root juice in the first week. Light is at 50% brightness.
26/11/2021 - masses of leaves - plants have taken to the pots well - slight bending issue with one where it was stretching for the light but it is now propped with sticks so hopefully will straighten out. All plants look set to be nice and tall.

Well, another week has passed and they are growing very well, now it's a matter of two to three weeks for me to change them to flora, this week I did a little defoliation on the plants and watered them again with top crop top veg fertilizer and I also did some bindings known as low stress training. =D

Welcome to week 3!
The last few plants that weren't topped should be ready fairly soon. Only 2 of the plants have bugs as far as I could tell but all of them will be treated just in case. Insecticide applications will be recorded as ~X. I will apply it as a spray on the foliage and over the top of the soil, the issue is relatively small now so I don't see the need to fully water with it - 07/09/23 7:58pm.
The leaves are getting noticeably bigger after topping and supplementing! Haven't seen any more bugs either so far - 07/10/23 7:01pm.
I saw a bug or two in some of the pots so I used a little bit more mammoth - 07/11/23 9:20pm.
Some of the leaves on the bottom were yellowing and some spots are appearing on some of the more developed leaves as well. I clipped the lower leaves that were yellow, I believe it's most likely calcium deficiency. I added some Pesticide to the water for tonight as the bugs won't go away and I was only doing some spraying on the top soil until now. On the positive side they seem to be overcoming the stress of the topping extremely well and the double stems are growing strong - 07/15/23 8:00pm.

Hallo und herzlich willkommen in Veg. Woche 3
Ja leider noch immer keine großen Fortschritte die süße.
Mein verdacht ist, dass sie obwohl wie die anderen 2 diesen lauf, zwingend immer alles identisch gleich bekommen haben. Ob Erde, Mikro- Makro- Mobil Nährstoffe oder auch identischen Übertopf, dass sie warum auch immer keine Symbiose aufbauen konnte.
Normalerweise würde ich an der Stelle abbrechen aber ich schaue und warte was Passiert!
Vielleicht schaffe ich es meinen eigenen Joker noch zu ziehen. Näheres dazu, falls es dazu kommt!
Nebst sehr neugierige Kater (2) hat sich zusätzlich herausgestellt, dass ein Hornissennest sich 2 m entfernt im Dachstuhl befindet.
Zunehmender wird es sehr ungemütlich und ich denke, ich werde sie runter in den Garten verbringen müssen.
Auch da im Außenbereich sind noch mehr Katzen, daher werde ich am kommenden Dienstag irgendeine Art Schutz für die süßen fertigen.
Zur Nahrung:
Gegossen wird seit 3 Tagen jeden Tag 1 Liter. Aktuell fahren sie ganz gut mit 2 Tage angepasstem PH- Wasser und einen Tag 80% vom Düngerschema an Makro u. Mikronährstoffe. Stickstoff befindet sich noch ausreichend bis ca. Mitte nächster Woche im Medium. Ich hatte mich auch dazu entschlossen, einmal Super Microbes am Mittwoch wegen ihr hier statt erst Sonntag zu geben. Ich werde jetzt sehr genau darauf achten, wie sich die schöne verhält.
Somit freue ich mich sehr auf die kommende Woche!

Planta com botões bem densos e devido a umidade percebi uns pontos de fungos por isso viu colocar ela no ambiente externo por uns dias e vou colher.
Ja perdi plantas com um floração linda para esse fungo que ataca o botões mais densos.

Well that was a special day, it always make me sad in a way, but this time, I enjoyed the moment a lot.
As I wrote in a reply to a comment, things can always be better, and they are with good decisions at the right time.
This is the middle plant, not planned for this cycle but one of the 3 Tropicana didn't germinate so I took the Gorrilla Girl I had left from the last cycle, and I'm quite thankful for that!
It's so nice to have these geneti contrasts, colors, aromas, shapes.

19/04/2024 lower popcorn buds seems dried already! But still branches don't crack on bends. Will check again on Monday.

Another week of training down. Leaves are starting to smell skunky now and no signs of deficiencies or struggle. Environment has been steady and the Kush has been loving it. Starting the transition to flower (flip is in 2 weeks) so she's been fed a bloom mix and some all purpose to get her ready. Figure it'll be about a week before the slow release is available for the plant and in her system by flip. Fingers crossed, but I'm hoping for explosive growth soon. She's relatively modest in size right now, but getting nice and wide.

Day 14 Veg: A great start to the week once they settled into their new pots. hopefully i havent stunted their progress. The mutant Banana Mash is now trying to normalise a little more with new growth. Still fairly twisted but on the mend. The other 3 are more typical of new plants with their growth . I have topped one and fimmed another with one being left natural at this point. They are on their 5th node mainly ( except mutant!) and I am hoping to open their frames right up to get light to all new growth equally. I don't think they will grow too tall by design and I don't want to limit their growth in any way so i will gently manage them as they grow.
The Purple Monkey are doing brilliantly so far with plenty of vigorous growth among them. I am holding the 5th nodes down on two of them and have fimmed one. These are in bigger 60L pots so should use the space to its best I think.
I also have 2 plants that came from the recent harvest. One of the ladies must have had a pollen sack hid away that managed to seed a few of the exotic girls amd visited some possible viable hybrids. 2 of these are now in the grow alongside. I will be watching them like a hawk and any sign of a testicle will result in a slaughtering of the LGBGTQ sympathiser instantly . lol We do male or female only unlike the human race !!. heehee ( bit of a political hot potato!).
I gave them an actual megacrop feed today to boost the available elements for the speedy growth coming. The L.o.s is still active and providing enough nutrition but I am trying to avoid the drop once the stretch period gets busy and saps the available food from it. This seems to have been happening most crops since beginning using it to avoid the leaves losing their solent green colour too fast like starvation can cause.
I also added a touch of calmag to counter the L.e.d leeching that often occurs in flowering.
So there we have it Growmies. A good week with the beginning of l.s.t and some promising growth.
Another issue that I have managed to resolve is the R.h. We are getting warm dry air now so the room is getting silly hot and very dry at around 40% . This is great for the flowering times but has been an issue for veg in the past. not wanting to invest in a humidifier that is costly and expensive to run , I had resulted to using towels in buckets to attempt to raise it
this does work in a totally sealed tent , in my leaky d.i.y "tailored " one , this has been hard to maintain. The solution came in the form of a vicks vaporiser that I bought from fleabay. It works perfectly to bring up the rh to around 70% on its lowest setting. The tank is enough to hold a days supply of water and shuts off with the lights. simple but effective fix to a common problem we face indoors.

Day 15 since seed touched soil. All is going amazing.
Yesterday topped them up a bit. Stems looks lanky, would expect stronger by now, but generally girls fly ! Off course i watered them straight after goodies were rubbed into top soil.
Great White - 4 g sprinkled around for each plant
BioSys same amount.
Ecothrive Bio Blend - 200 grams added to each pot.
Devil biggest, nicest and is happy camper at the moment.
Lights are still on 40%, Mars as always has great products for growers.
Think this week i will start some training.
Day 19. Yesterday girl got 800 ml of 6.3 ph water. She is flying 4sure, thinking to train her tomorrow.
Day 20. First LST. Watering straight after, plus Biobizz Leaf Coat shower. Approx 2.5 liters went in, first big saturation.
