Dear Me, I had a Growers Nightmare, An Equipment failure around 21th of Jan,24. My 3X3 Mars Hydro Kit is IMPORTED from United States. it comes with a pretty powerful grow light FC-E3000. But Unfortunately it broke only after 1 weeks of usage. The Rotating knob stopped responding to dimming function. The push button only turns lights OFF/ON. And without having the ability to control the Light intensity I was left with nothing but 100% light, 400+ PPFD and 25+ degree Temp in my Grow Tent. Hence I Disconnected the Two of the Centre Light bars and Increased the Height to maximum at about 1.3 Feet from plants. This at times was showing between 230-300 PPFD but it now it's back at showing 400 here and there. At the very least the tent temperature is 23-24. I Contacted Mars Hydro notified that I'm in different Country and that I'm helpless and I can't basically send you the Unit for a replacement since I'd killing my plants at that point so please either 1) sell me a new controller stand alone unit to my country. I'll pay upfront. or 2) send me new unit and I'll send back as soon as fresh unit arrives and I swap the malfunction unit. I'll bear shipping cost upfront for both ways. But it's been like 3-4 days no conclusion we're still figuring out and yet to get to any conclusion. Hence I ended up placing order for a AC infinity 6 inch exhaust fan which comes with AC infinity 69 Pro controller( a separate unit that can connect to Mars hydro Grow Lights using RJ45 Cable Type B Connecter). It's cool how just one thing can add a whole Semi-Automation to Grow Tent Environment. Not gonna lie I did thought at this point that I had in fact made my tent buying decision in a jiffy without looking at all the other options. I hope Mars Hydro Fixes it provided that I had invested my faith in them with my money at around 1200 usd( Tent cost about 600 USD + about 600 in Shipping and import fee). Prepared Cal-Mag Buffered Coco-Perlite Mix for Coming week. Plants are already on a Light Feed Schedule with a 3 Part series by General Hydroponics. 1st Week Nutrients Diet Per Gal Water 2ml CalMag 1 ml micro 1 ml Grow 0.5 ml Bloom Ph-6.1 TDS - 277 UPDATE : 4 February : - I learned First week starts "After" the Cotyledons when first true leaves show up. Which means I've been actually in my first week only. Putting an end to my anxiety over my current plant sizes. Also, Mars Hydro replied with a humble gesture and decided to replace the dimmer at no Additional cost, They told me I could keep the faulty unit which means I don't need to spend money on returning it. and they're directly shipping to my country without any extra fee (a cherry on top). I'm yet to get the tracking but it should arrive at the very least sometime before I hit the Flowering. My first week plants look somewhat healthy despite a little light stress in the early stage. Although the Plants heights not been upto the desirable min. so far which is mostly because light was throwing too much ppfd in the early stages. Outdoors........time passes slowly.... Tropical weather here, this week. Hot morning, evening storms , cooler nights, high humidity, wind. What else? No problems to report, fantastic grow, girls full of life. Lots of work to bend and rearrange plant's shape every day, sometimes twice a day. Defoliation. Plant is responding fantastically. Pineapple Kush is a monster, she has almost 20 big branches, every single branch is big as an indoor plant. I've growth 30 strains in my life but I never seen a plant with a such LTS attitude. You bend her, she responds quickly, you bend her again? She responds faster. Little bit late on flowering.

Plant is 8 weeks from seed today, stretching has now stopped and she is starting to fill out now. It looks like the feed will sit at 2ml A +B to a litre as she hasn't shown signs of wanting anything more although pk 13/14 will be added in roughly 3 weeks time. She's been drinking a lot more last few days

Day 78 - I swear the Orchid is getting skunkier by the day. First thing I smell when opening the tent. Added some pics with a selfie seeds sticker to show the size None of the strains here are Selfie Seeds, sticker was used for showing the bud size. Day 81 - I'm so ready to smoke these plants. The Apple Banana Zoap smells just like the flower I ordered from LIT and it's sticky as hell so I know they're going to be fire even though they hermed. I removed a couple more nanners found lower on the branches that I couldn't see for ABZ#2, NO MORE found on ABZ#1 as of now... Checked PPFD again today: ABZ #1 - 810 PPFD | ABZ #2 - 875 PPFD | Biscotti - 750 PPFD | Black Orchid - 1040 PPFD Day 82 - Used the jewelers loupe and camera to compare for trichome quality against the microscope Day 83 - Noticing reduction in feeding consumption all around. ABZ 1: 0.9L | ABZ 2: 1.5L | Biscotti: 1L | Black Orchid: 2.0L Biscotti is giving a vanilla and lemon terp profile with the pine spice in the background now. It's nice tbh Day 84 - This is the last day of week 7 since flip, week 8 starts Tomorrow. I'll be dialing back my light a bit and the ppm. Pulled the ppm back a bit tonight as I've still seen issues with the nitrogen. Feed tonight was 926PPM. Might have a new nutrient mix to use on them Wednesday.... I can't get better pics with the microscope sorry, I'm too unsteady for that. (Maybe cause I turned the LED down on the microscope)

This week I turned on automatic watering 2 times a day for 10 minutes. After that, the plant began to overflow, then I realized my mistake and temporarily returned to manual watering. Otherwise, everything went quietly and calmly, since the killer is building up the root system, events and rapid growth have not yet taken place.

I turned off one of the mars panels. My garden isn't big enough to need that much light. So I just have the hlg65 and 1 mars panel going. This girl drinks like crazy. And she is quick to droop her leaves to tell you she's thirsty. Grow a lot in the past week. This will be the biggest autoflower I have grown so far.

Week 5 complete for bloom. Getting sticky and feel 4 more weeks...clones are in rough shape...Gave the girls a treat in a 1L shot of a 4-20-4 each...still not a mark on the girls other then a couple of innocent brown marks on one...not trimming leaves too much as want the stored energy in them for flush time, Hands down...these are going to be awesome and Crosby Molasis with some Root Farm diluted every second watering has kept them content in between the 3 week Gaia feedings...just followed the directions and added 50% more. Organic is so easy with the odd turbo boost in between keeps things very healthy....Par is about 550 at fringe on 3 tops and mostly 750 to1075 on 2 certain tops so all below 1000 mostly...would bend the 2 but just want to see if get extra big...

Nach meinem heutigen Besuch an dem Guerillaspot, war ich sehr angetan, wie schön sich der Outdoor Steckling bis jetzt entwickelt hat. Der Steckling war allerdings sehr klein und Jung, dass merkt Mann der Pflanze auch an. Ich denke die Pflanze hat ihr Höhenwachstum abgeschlossen, da in dieser Woche nicht mehr viel an Stretch passiert ist. Klar wird der finale Blütenstretch noch ein paar CM bringen, allerdings ist auf Grund der Wetterelage da vermutlich nicht mehr viel drinn. Jetzt beginnt die Blütezeit und ich bin gespannt wie die genetische Komposition mit den deutschen Wetterverhältnissen zurecht kommt. Stay Tuned!💚

The girls have been very busy making golf balls this week! The cookies are also starting to frost up 🤗 At the beginning of the week there was not much to do, the girls had stopped stretching and were settled in. In my 2x4 tent, all I had to do was tuck fold the leaves to open up the bud sites. I basically did the same for my big tent. Simply moved some leaves from blocking sites, and plucked just a few that were rather large. They are still needing to be watered every 72 hours or so. I have been keeping to a feed, water, feed schedule now that we are into flower. I just started to notice that some of the tops are showing some nutrient burn, just a little, and not every plant. This tells me I have hit their limit with the nutrients, somewhere between 700 and 750 ppm. The last watering I did, I watered to about 10% runoff, trying to make sure that there are no salt or mineral buildup that can cause lockout or other issues. At the end of the week, day 21, I defoliated both tents, not too much, but enough to open up the bottom growth a bit. Also tidied up the lower portion below the trellis, as this just wastes energy and yield from the main colas in the long run. No real issues or problems so far, Happy Gardening Folks! 🇨🇦👊❤️😎💨
