📅 Week 9 (Days 56–62) 🌸 Mid-Flower | Bud Development | Nutrient Monitoring This week saw a clear ramp-up in flower density. The buds have begun to take on noticeable weight, with trichome coverage increasing steadily — not just on the sugar leaves, but now crawling onto small calyx fans. There’s a tangible stickiness to the upper canopy, and the diesel/cardamom/citrus terp profile has deepened. Aroma is more persistent after lights-on, lingering even after ventilation. Leaf health has required a watchful eye. The lower fans have continued to yellow and were removed incrementally. Nothing alarming yet - mostly older leaves giving up their stores. But toward the end of the week, I spotted some yellowing beginning to creep into mid-canopy areas. No burn, no twist - just fading. I’ve continued feeding - full strength Advanced Nutrients this week, including one adjusted dose focusing only on Grow (3.5 mL in 2L) to boost nitrogen in response to the yellowing. Watered with 2L at pH 6.4. No runoff, but weight and hydration have been monitored closely. Still a slight risk of earlier shallow root development limiting uptake, but the plant is holding its posture. One environmental slip-up: I noticed the leaf edges starting to taco slightly mid-week. Tracked it down to the humidifier being off. Once re-enabled, RH returned to 50–55%, and the issue self-corrected. No further signs of VPD stress. Trichomes: Still mostly clear with very few cloudy. No amber in sight. Maturity is progressing slowly - right on pace for a post-vacation harvest. Action points: – Continue feeding through Week 10 – Monitor yellowing mid-canopy - may respond with another Grow-only supplement if it progresses – Keep RH stable with the new humidifier – Macro checks every few days to watch for trichome shift 🗓️ Overall: A stable week with increasing density and trichome output. Aroma building. No rush yet — plant is following a long, even curve into maturity. Feeding schedule holds, with my daughter planned to feed once or twice while I’m away, then transition to water only.

Crazy week with work and the girls. Day 37 and flowers are foaming nicely. Did give her a haircut and the leafs I removed were nice and green and healthy. After a few years of using Canna I can say its has grown on me as one of my favorite nutrient companies. Did have a mess this week with the pump kicking on by accident and pumping the girls with 3 gallons of nutrient water. No worries as the girls recover fast. When I grow autos or photo periods I give Cannas PK 13/14 from about 35-55. Then no more after that. The results at the end speak for themselves.

Hi all buddies! First crop from hydro nft growth. Growth went well, I had some management problems in changing nutrients from veg to bloom which delayed the harvest for a week or two. Sensi Seeds' Skunk # 1F is incredibly resistant to mold and insect attacks, very close internodes ensure low height and compact buds. Unfortunately I chose the mother phenotype wrong, I found the lowest as I wanted but I lost the fatness of the buds present in other phenotypes, but the game was worth the same and I am very proud of it! I collected after 94 days of flowering, the last 72h 20kg ice cubes in the tank and total darkness which the last 24h without irrigation. After cutting I hung the whole plants in the tent for 24 / 48h 19 ° C 55% HR. Two days of wet trim to 8 girls and I hung their colas in the tent to continue drying. With a girl i tried dry trim but i will avoid next time. After a week in the tent I cleaned the colas and removed all the sticks, I placed everything in airtight bags in the refrigerator for 5 days 12 ° C 65% HR (daily check). Now dark storage room at a temperature of 18 ° C 65% HR. At the last weighing a few days ago it was more than 500g, from now it does not lose any more weight. First, so sorry again for the lame and horrible pictures. I lost the every single picture I took, the whole process :( and had to take a few just before harvest with a lame phone. This wasn't hard to train at all. Took all the heavy defolation I did like a champ. I just messed up with the nute intake. I can't ask more of this light so I'm quite happy with the results. I've learned so much since my first grow that I'm honestly happy with what I'm getting. I used topping in the fifth node, lst and net for scrog I later had to remove. Next time I'll repeat the same thing but I'll leave less branches and focus on getting them as fat as they can. Too many popcorn bud with so many branches, light can't go trough like with less branches. I could write so much about the smell of this one. At some point IT WAS vanilla, during the cutting process I moved it quite a bit and strangely, it was pure mint. Growing it, it was extremely sweet and a bit earthy, never leaving the vanilla touches. I'll stick with Barney's for a few more plants. It was a resistant and lovely plant to grow.
