Day 14-21 (May 14th - May 21st) (Day 14) Transplant went well. I’ll wait a few days for recovery then start to harden them off. They’ve been acclimated to the sun pretty well so far from the window but the cold night temps will be stressful. (Day 16) It’s going to be nice out tonight so I’m going to leave the girls outside. (Day 19) I’ve been leaving the plants out all day for the last 3 days and they’re looking great. Better than my tomatoes anyway. Stems look like they’re thickening up too. I’m going to start the autoflowers for this season. I’m soaking them in shot glasses this time. I’m sick of direct sowing and losing plants. I find the soak + paper towel method is by far the most efficient and quick too. I don’t think I’ve ever had a seed not germinate using that method. Direct sowing seems to kill about 1 in 8 of my seedlings. So I’m going to wait until the tap root is about an inch long and will bury them flat, a half inch deep directly into my raised beds/containers. I will keep them moist by hand once or twice a day until they’re looking established. (Day 20) Just had a big rain storm and I let them take it on the chin until it got worse. All seem fine and better for it. (Day 21) All auto flower seeds are just barely poking out. Tomorrow or the next day I’m going to sow all of the grapefruits and g33’s directly into the raised bed. I’m worried that the soil mix in the beds is too strong for such a young plant and I don’t want to risk killing all of them at once. Even promix alone can be hot for seedlings. Pests and cold weather are another two things to worry about outside too. The beds were amended with quarter strength feedings of 4-4-4 Gaia Green all purpose, 3-2-4 insect frass, 1-0-3 kelp meal, 3-0-3 alfalfa meal, glacial rock dust, rock dust blend and oyster shell flour. I mix the amendments into the compost and then mix the compost with the promix directly in the raised bed by hand. I’m just going to dig out a hole in the bed and fill it with pure promix so it doesn’t get any early nute burn. The dr seedsman and exodus cheese are being directly sowed into 3 gallon fabric pots with a pure promix divot in the middle. A friend of mine just gifted me some Thugpug genetics ‘Meatbreath’ bagseed from an amazing cut. This is definitely worth growing this summer so I’m gonna pop them and get them into solo cups ASAP.

After a month they are doing quite good. Should be bigger by this time but well... there were problems on the way. It's good now ;) Middle one - Grandpa's Cookies is smallest and least branchy - but it was germinated almost 2 weeks after the rest so it's normal. Strawberry Cough is still weird and sicklish - but I hope it'll bounce back in the new soil. All of them were topped last week and the tallest - Strawberry Cough got some LST clips installed to make her more "ghrounded" ;)

Beautiful ak phenotype she's looking super awesome, very healthy although she's struggling with a little fungus gnats pest she's a champion, beautiful plant, very strong can't wait to try her buds.

The 2 Orange sherbet clones are powering on! #1 is going to really fill out the space In the flowering tent 🤩 she is going to go nuts in flowering stretch! #2 going great as well. Unfortunately I should have have replanted the clones earlier last week when photos were taken as they were very healthy. But after checking on them 1 night, came in next night to find I hadn't turned the pump back on! & Yeah the heat had gotten to them a bit, have been replanted into final homes, put into veg tent, the 2&3 stem clones have suffered & dying off. Obviously couldn't support all the growth of 2& 3 stems being a bit unhealthy. The single stem clones are all coming back to health. Had planned to grow 3 Afghan kush, which didn't germinate ( seeds mafia) , & thankfully I've got these 2 girls to put into flower in the next few weeks once the flowering run is done. Was supposed to have 4 plants ready to go in & replace the ones that get harvested , going to start some new FF strains.👍

New week! Tips and help from last week, I had around 1500 ppm and I did flush my roots in water and change everything. Now is around 1000 ppm and dropping 150 ppm a day. Did read about water level in DWC and how to increase the grow with water. I had the water almost up to the root or the level of there the basket is. Now I have 1-2 inch (2-5 cm) below where the roots come out. This create air roots. I'm not sure if it's the air roots or the ppm but my flower is boosting. Can se buds grow!! Trimming so I can keep the same hight. Have any tips or rekomandation? Only have one question for next week and this is: it's looking a bit thigth between the buds and all of the leaf is cristal on it. Should I cut some more leaf? And what leaf should I trim? Is so thigth in there. Or will it grow fine?

Well, what to say other than the pictures can already show? I wish the GZkitz buds were just as large as the Critical ones :D Maybe they will surprise me and flower one week longer then their sisters :P :D For some reason I get an error when I try to upload the time lapse video, hope it workes out in the end!

Everything’s trucking along nicely so far This week. I cleared out under the first net this week and stripped there bottoms down. Lol I also was forced to do another defoliation up top this week as it was insanely crowded again, 3 days later and it’s gonna need it again to put the top screen on. Crazy foliage on these girls. I had a friend pass away last week so stuff kinda got put on the back burner, shoulda had the top screen on already. They are also so bushy and crowded I had nowhere to train the larger branches coming up in the middle so there are a few popin up over the canopy here and there. Gonna have to remember to flip this strain earlier if I give her a go again. Looks like I got 2 pheno types as well, 3 are bigger and stretched up more and 1 stayed low and is a bushier girl. I think it will all be good in the end though, no big hiccups yet. Cheers💨

This longevity provides a lasting positive effect on soil properties, particularly by increasing the cation exchange capacity (CEC) over time, while regular organic matter breaks down much faster. Biochar generally offers a much higher CEC than coco coir, though specific values vary greatly; while coco coir might sit around 40-60 cmol/kg, biochar can range from tens to over 200 cmol/kg, with sources like Acacia wood biochar or even coconut shell biochar often surpassing coco's capacity due to its porous structure, creating significantly more cation-binding sites for nutrients, making it superior for nutrient retention. Needs to be charged similar to coco but at a much higger rate. But shhhh.. It's a secret. Ancient biochar-rich soils in the Amazon basin (known as Terra Preta) provide evidence of carbon stability lasting over 500 to 2,000+ years. Recommend a balanced ratio of key cations, particularly calcium (Ca), magnesium (Mg), and potassium (K). A widely accepted general "ideal soil" cation saturation ratio is approximately 65-85% Ca, 6-12% Mg, and 2-5% K. That's roughly what I give mine. Can even add N in its NH4+ form

Hello Diary, Purple Lemonade has reached the end of the fourth week of flowering, 7 weeks since the beginning of the vegetation. I can already tell that we are slowly approaching the end, from next week I will be painting it on a black background. Purple Lemonade looks beautiful. It has large flowers that have covered the branches that are now slightly bent due to the weight of the flowers. The flowers are very hard and sticky to the touch. The main cola is completely covered in flowers and trichomes, it brings a smile to my face. The smell is now very intense, when I open the grow box, the smell takes over the whole room. The leaves are still a healthy green color, it is obvious that the new nutrients Bio Grow and Bio Bloom Fertilizer are doing their job. The conditions on the Farm are good, the temperature is around 28 degrees while the humidity is below 50%. Watering is still almost every other day, they still need a lot of water. I continued to add CalMg and Bio Bloom Fertilizer with each watering. I'm super happy to see how Purple lemonade looks, she really responded to my efforts to give her the best conditions I can. Here's a quick overview of the past week. 06/09/2024 - Day 44. Watering. I prepared 9 liters of water, added CalMg and Bio Bloom Fertilizer and lowered the p.H. to 6.0. With that amount of water I watered all three plants on the "Farm". 08/09/2024 - Day 46. Watering. I repeated the same procedure as two days earlier. 10/09/2024 - Day 48. Watering. Same procedure. 11/09/2024 - Day 49. End of the 7th week from the beginning of the vegetation, or the fourth week of flowering. Photographing and measuring the height of the plants. Bueno esta semana estaban muy bien la planta pero ya estaba muy alta y estaban por llegar a la altura máxima de la carpa , pusimos una malla así bajaban las ramas y podían recibir mejor luz toda la planta, estamos fertilizando con engorde y guano también abonamos con humus de lombriz, la planta está muy bien así q vamos a ir viendo como sigue

Cali crasher has been growing strong. It looks like she wants more calcium. So I gave her a booster in solution. I will see if it continues now after it has been trained good for the week. She is growing great under the Hortibloom Solux 350. We are watching trichomes every day and it looks like it is almost ready so we are thinking of harvesting next week. It is already possible to see some amber trichomes. Unfortunately it seems that we are not going to harvest the expected amount, the buds were not very dense and fat, apparently the buds are just small leaves with trichomes.
