Week 5: Comeback Queen 👑🍍 The relief I felt this week is immeasurable. My pineapple is BACK! Not only has she recovered from the snail attack, but she's thriving. She's getting bushy, pushing out new leaves and reaching for the sky. I knew she had it in her. Given her impressive height, I decided it was time for some strategic intervention. FIMming to encourage even more branching, defoliation to let the light reach those lower leaves, and some gentle LST to keep her shape in check. She took it like a champ. The best part? I took some of those trimmed branches and dipped them in cloning gel. Fingers crossed for some pineapple babies! This girl is a fighter, and I have a feeling her offspring will be just as resilient.

Originally I didn’t think I had much to update until I compared the plants photos at 7 days. The ff3’s have definitely responded better to their new home than the neighboring ff2. They are definitely getting a thicker stalk and adding more foliage. I started the week with a light dose of flora flex nutrients which is by weight rather than tea or tablespoon. They call for 1 gram of the v1 & v2 per gallon of water and I opted for 1 for the entire 6 gallons. But with no response I adjusted the ph and added a small amount of Cali magic and flora grow. On my previous rockwool multi time per day feeding I would have expected these to be twice the size at two weeks. Hopefully we get some explosive growth soon.

So next time I would use the Lucas formula and cut out the GH geo from the trio as the micro and bloom have enough nitrogen anyway as I experienced nitrogen toxicity in veg. Considering this is my first grow I am happy with the yield and quality of the finished product. Next time I will be using bigger pots than 3 gal ( 4-5 gal ) and will put the lights down a little closer to the plants for a bigger yield. Day 50 of flower, 20 days till I harvest. Checking the trichomes daily. These nuggs are some of the best I’ve grown so far to date. They’re chunky and frosty as hell. They’re dense and shaped like golf balls. Patiently waiting to give these ladies the chop! Catch yall on the next update ✌️🏾

Ya es una planta sin alimento. Sin nutrientes agregados, solo consume lo que quedo entre el sustrato. El agua de osmosis inversa sin minerales es fabulosa

2nd Week Report 24/10/19 - 31/10/19 25/10/19 I didn't flushed, but I filled the reservoir with 3l of 10% strength solution. Added to the current solution the same nutrients quantity as the first week (except for "Root Stimulator" and "Enzymes" that the first week were 20% strength and now got back to 10%). Now the reservoir should be filled with a 20% strength solution 29/10/19 - CMXL is 10cm height and it is growing really well along with his roots. - LSD is 6cm height and it is growing a little slower like his roots, but both of them look healty. I think in some days should start growing fast like CMXL Added 2 low frequency (113kHz) Ultrasonic Piezoelectric Discs: - One for the root chamber that should help with root expansion as it nebulize solution and the fog carries nutriments (like a small aeroponics integration) and will help my attempt of cloning. - One will stand in a 20% solution next to the plants to increase Humidity (and maybe feed them a little). I'll try to set them running 24/7 Switched water pump that sprays Rock Wool from 5sec every 30min to 6sec every 60min. Next week I plan to stop using the pump as "Top Feed" if roots will be well developed and probably I will use it as "Recirculation Pump" to keep nutrients in reservoir mixed better 30/10/19 Roots exposed to air inside reservoir got a little yellow after inserting the small fogger, so I will try to keep it 30/30 seconds ON/OFF. I will check next day if it's helpful to existing root o as root propagator for clone trial Topped CMXL and did a little of LST just by bending the main stem to expose the small growing next to fan leaves. The cutting was immediately dipped in a solution made by honey and Root Stimulation (the same I use for reservoir solution as it should contain rooting hormone), hoping it covers the cut like a gel and don't let the oxigen get in the cut until there will be some new growing. After that I put the cutting on the lid without any pot, as you can see in the picture some tape is covering the hole and it holding the topping. I covered it with a small jar to maintain humidity, hope to see some roots next week ;) I plan to fim LSD tomorrow if tonight grows enough 31/10/19 Filled the reservoir with 6L 20% strength solution and after that added 10% nutriment for 36L directly into the tote (like I did last week). Now nutrient solution inside reservoir should be 30% strength and it's ready for the 3rd week Pinched LSD Top with my fingers and applied LST by bending a little the main stem. Hope this FIMming works and returns better yield ;) Cloning trial didn't worked (I was expecting nothing, just a test), the cut part of the topping is already dry. Growing Fast Buds Tangie'Matic again. This was one of the first strains I grew and I had great results the first time. Looking forward to seeing if I can up my game at all this time. My Perpetual Harvest strategy…. Originally my plan was to start 2 seeds each month, but had some seeds from one breeder that did not germinate early in my rotation. Ultimately, this caused single seeds to pop and messed up my 2 at a time plans. But, that seemed to work out OK, because now I think starting one seed every 3 weeks is a better strategy. This should provide me with 4-5 plants at a time, instead of 6. However… Since I need to shut down over the summer because my tent is currently in the attic, I’m starting 2-3 seeds at at time for the last couple of rounds. Plants get fed once weekly on weekends. Seedlings get water only. Plants in vegetation get water and Recharge. Flowering plants get water, Recharge or Big Bloom (Fox Farm). Feeding is done using 2 gallon watering can. Any additional waterings during the week are given on an as needed basis per plant. I lift the plants to help determine which plants are more dry (lighter) and provide water any plants via water bottles and watering spikes. I give each pot a quarter turn every day in an effort to make sure the plants get equal lighting from all sides. I rotate the plant in place by turning the pot 90 degrees (I am not rearranging the layout of the plants in the tent on a daily basis). The soil is an ‘organic super soil’ I mixed myself using organic top soil, organic potting soil, organic compost, organic peat moss, organic perlite, organic vermiculite, lime, epsom salt, expanded clay pellets and Jobe’s organic fast start. I am also recycling my soil and water with Recharge when using recycled soil. For plant training I have tried a variety of things, but my plans now are to do LST bending only, no HST anymore. I may decide to go back to HST again in the future, but I’m curious to compare LST training only to see how that goes. Around week 3 I'll do a FIM pinch once there are 4-5 nodes established. And some defoliation around the 3rd week of flowering. I have been doing HST bending and having good results, but think the HST may be causing the plants to take longer to harvest. I hope FIM/defoliation only will help increase harvests while getting me to harvest sooner. Setup: 1- Grow Tent 24”x48”x72” 2- Viparspectra 300W LED’s (1-V300 & 1-R300) 1- Hanging 100w CFL (26w actual) 1- Carbon Filter w/ 190cfm Fan & 4” ducts 1- 6” clip-on fan 1- 700w electric heater - oil filled radiator (in front of air intake behind tent)

*Increased Ppm from 750 to 800 *1st week of flowering actually Tomorrow is :D * I got different phenols. Ones short, ones wide, and the other one is a mixture of both let’s see which one comes out better.

The weathers been pretty good this week and it's been really dry though so I had to water pretty heavy a few days. I'm glad I put that nut up. It's really catching a lot of filth. One of the roofs came on down, had to readjust it, so that was fun. I got a new measurement this week. She seems to have even down on height.. Ever since I put the canopy up it kind of LST'd did outwards when I was setting it up it rested on top a few times but it kind of worked out.

Recently had a gnat issues from what I read it’s something you can run into using build a soil or growing organic so I got some neem oil to handle it it help a lot still have some but a ton less other than that this is where I am with these two everything seems okay so far

Week 6 (Day 42) - This week was a lot more manageable with temps as it has cooled off. I also was able to pick up a portable AC unit that has dehumidifier built in. I Macgyver’d a bunch of ductwork so I can run a hose to my tent, Amazing 🤩. I have been able to run consistent at 74 degrees with lights on, and 68-69 degrees with lights off, and humidity between 43-50 % Lots of new growth this week at the bottom canopy, both bud and leaf. Kinda gives me a better idea of timeline with this strain, I think it’s going to go 10-11 weeks from what I see online. Trichomes are still clear, but the hairs are turning nice colours, and I think I se me a touch of pink starting…👀 Buds continued to thicken, again, not huge by any means, but the ones that were small are fattening up, and there are so many of them 🤗 I think I’m going to feed nutrients this week, Monday is the start of week 7, and assess the situation then to determine when to start straight water feeds to begin the flush…
