At the start of the week, I had bumped the PPFD up to around 500. But it became obvious pretty quickly that she wasn’t handling that intensity well. The apex looked tired, the leaves were curling downward like a soft saddle, and the whole plant was signaling that the metabolic shift wasn’t complete yet. So I made the decision to step the intensity back down to 300 PPFD. A gentler light, less metabolic pressure, and a better environment for the plant to recalibrate after the spectrum change. These adaptation phases always take time— forcing it only delays the recovery. Over the next few days, I started noticing some very subtle signs. The apex seems to be lifting again, and the leaves that were curling now look like they’re slowly opening back up. It’s still too early to confirm anything, so I’m keeping expectations realistic. Right now, visual impressions are all we have, and the plant still needs space to stabilize. For this stage, the strategy is simple: no adjustments, no extra stress, no forced progression. We keep the light at 300 PPFD and let her rebuild her momentum naturally. Only when she gives a clear, confirmed sign of vigor—not just a hint— will we start considering the transition to flower. So Week 21 was a quiet-looking week, but an important one metabolically. The plant is processing the spectrum change, resetting its rhythm, and hopefully setting the foundation for a clean, strong pre-flower phase. We’ll check back next week to see if the recovery continues and whether she’s finally ready to move forward. 😎

Went abit over the top with the defoliation but first time for everything think people call it mainlining or something and looks like the cuttings have took there’s new green growth

La verdad me pasé un poco en el tiempo de cosecha, porque maduró antes de lo previsto y es importante cosechar no sin antes hacer un buen lavado de raíces para que así la cosecha no tenga sabor a químicos y sales que acumula el sustrato durante el proceso. Estoy conforme con los resultados, las flores no son tan grandes como esperaba pero si son bastante rocosas, compactas y salpicadas de olorosa resina dulce que cubre todos sus brotes. Gracias a la gente de Sweet Seeds por la confianza y enviarme estas semillas de tan buena calidad. 🇺🇸Grow Journal🇺🇸– Week 5 – Mother Gorilla (Royal Queen Seeds) Week 5 Summary This week didn’t go as planned. I switched nutrients, and the plant didn’t respond well, possibly due to overfeeding. I probably should have transitioned more gradually to avoid stressing it. Nutrient Issue • Previously used: Formulex • New nutrient: Ionic Hydro Grow • Possible cause: Ionic Hydro Grow has a higher concentration of nutrients than Formulex. The sudden increase may have stressed the plant. • Symptoms: The new leaves are showing signs of damage, which could indicate nutrient burn. Typically, deficiencies affect older leaves first, so it seems more like an excess—but I can’t say for sure. Corrective Actions • Diluted the nutrient solution to lower the EC. • Initial EC: 2.6+ (but my tap water already has a high EC, so the actual nutrient EC is hard to determine). • New EC: Below 2, but again, since my starting EC is high (around 0.8-0.9), it’s difficult to get an exact reading of the nutrient contribution. • pH adjusted to 5.9-6.0. Current Conditions • Light schedule: 18 hours • Humidity: 70% • pH: 5.9-6.0 • EC: Below 2 (but actual nutrient EC remains uncertain). Cereal Milk (YLife X Snowman) Gave them a full day of darkness and flushed for two weeks with phd water after flushing with Advanced Nutrients Flawless Finish! UVB light did increase trichomes and it appears it sped up trichome ripening, not 100% sure on the ripening tho. WILL UPDATE AFTER DRYIN WITH DRY WEIGHT! 2/18/25 UPDATE..Cereal Milk weighted in at 39 grams so nearly 1.5oz. The scent is not so strong but it’s there and so far it’s smelling like gassy bad breath smh unless my brothers breath had my nose pallet out of balance lmfao. I’ll cure for a short time and coma back to that!

Been told this is a lovely strain to grow so looking forward to seeing how she does. Fell over after a few days and needed help to stand up but other than that and some minor calmag defiency which is probably already corrected for, she's doing fine and catching up to the others in the tent fast. Auto looks done. Pakistan Valleys look almost done. Candy may need another couple weeks. What do u think i should do guys? Should i wait and harvest all together? Or harvest the auto now, then the kush and lastly the Candy? What's the best way. Also i had been planning to dry them all in my tent. If I do a staggered harvest, i have to build a box or empty out a closet to try and dry them in 😫

We’re getting closer, they’ve upped their water intake this week, so I’m thinking we’re on pretty much the last push now! Absolutely stinks of pineapples in there, with a gassy undertone. I’m excited to see how these finish up!! Hopefully not too much longer now.

Please check on the last picture at Day 50 and compare to new picture on day 53 You will noticed many changes! We also expanded the net and modified some other lights from setup. We've been good and theyve been great Outdoors everyday and tons of lights and love so she can continue to flower :). Day 53 Fed them medium hard 1710ppm /3.79g floranova bloom Only 300ml followed by 900ml plain water Plus outdoors from 7.30am til 2.30pm Day 54 Ladies are looking good Great day great weather All day outdoors til 6pm Now under CFL til 6.30am Then back outdoors Got some videos today! omg, another week has passed...... :) Day 100 - and then there was 11 Buds ....... lol Switched over to normal water on both ... smaller has been on water 1+ weeks ..... Endoscope arrives this week i hope..... harvested afew buds to fit it all in the tent and setup lights properly... trimmed em, wired em abit to support the weight of the buds.... I'll see how the endoscope results show, as to harvest...... i think growth slowed abit over last week or 2, because of poor light setup, not enough room in tent, and other grow 6400k led.... got a new tent on the way... 😎 Day 101 - Pics - edoscope, usb arrived... it's very good, but hard to stabalize / focus, i'll have to work out how to use it better...... the pics i posted were of a younger bud from the bottom..... i'm happy with the cloudy with amber, and harvesting.... 😎 Day 103 - vid of all trimmed and drying out upside down in tent. Day 105 - pics vids of drying and into curing.... i'll list all the test buds and buds i trimmed in the final harvest report.....😎

So they’re still stretching, I thought they were slowing down a couple days ago, but then I walked in today and realised shit, they’re still going, must have grown another 3 inches since yesterday. They have almost filled out the whole 6x4ft space, a little space by the door and in the corners, the floor is looking well shaded which I am happy about, as that means I am not wasting too many photons. I have an maybe another 10/15cm of spare vertical capacity before I’m going to have to start some emergency super-cropping. Starting to get a little anxious I still haven’t changed out the reservoir from 16 days ago, although my top ups have been the same composition as noted above. I think I will drain her out tomorrow which has a drastically lower ratio of nitrogen. I have to say, this Botanicare range is incredibly stable and forgiving once you get past mid veg. As for the genetics, she knows how to grow without little fuss. Maybe I have been very lucky, time will tell once I finish my next grow with a different strain. The plant at the back of the room is a little squat compared to the other two but maybe she will catch up. Waffled on a bit here, thanks for stopping by, have fun all!

Day 95 harvest of last 2 of 4 plants. 10 days after first two were harvested. BB1 and GG1 seem to have denser buds than BB2 and GG2. I think the yield will be greater also. First two plants dried for 6 days at 45-50 RH and 65-70F and put into quart Mason jars with humidity meters and pouches at 62 RH. Once second two have dried, will update dry weight for all 4 plants in Harvest week.

My gas tax plant is looking absolutely incredible right now. It's got these massive buds that are super dense and have this awesome dark color to the leaves. I'm so excited to see how it turns out when it's finally ready to be harvested. I've been checking the height, the thickness of the stem, and the density of the buds to get an idea of how much longer I have to wait. I think I might start flushing it soon. The past few weeks have been so beautiful, watching the plants grow and change. It's amazing how something so small and fragile can turn into something so strong and vibrant. Now that they're getting ready to bloom, it feels a little bittersweet. I'm so excited to see the finished product, but I'll definitely miss having them around while they're growing.
