Week 2 of the flowering phase flew by 🌱💨. Unfortunately, I may have overdone it with potassium or kept the water level too high – the classic signs of clawing leaves were evident. Thankfully, they seem to be recovering now and are back under control 💪🍃. My IR night experiment is showing clear results 🌌: The plants exposed to infrared radiation at night stretched significantly more. This might be especially beneficial for this indica-dominant strain as it leads to better canopy distribution, improved airflow, and reduced risks of mold and disease. Plus, the light distribution is much more efficient now, which I’m excited to see pay off. On the downside, my Orange Sherbert turned hermaphroditic 😔. It’s hard to pinpoint the cause – overfertilization seems unlikely since I’m using only organic nutrients. I suspect it might be linked to an E-field experiment I’ve been running. To confirm this theory, I’ll conduct a new grow with a similar strain next year to see if the electric field negatively impacts cannabis development. Stay tuned for updates! Leider habe ich wohl etwas zu viel Kalium gegeben oder den Wasserstand zu hoch gehalten – die typischen Anzeichen von Adlerkrallen waren sichtbar. Zum Glück scheinen sich diese jetzt zurückzubilden und sind wieder unter Kontrolle 💪🍃. Mein IR-Nachtexperiment zeigt bereits deutliche Ergebnisse 🌌: Die Pflanzen, die nachts mit Infrarotstrahlung bestrahlt wurden, haben deutlich stärker gestretcht. Das ist besonders bei dieser indica-dominanten Sorte wahrscheinlich von Vorteil, da es zu einer besseren Verteilung des Blätterdachs führt. Dadurch verbessert sich die Luftzirkulation, das Risiko von Schimmel und Krankheiten wird minimiert, und die Lichtverteilung wird effizienter. Ich bin gespannt, wie sich das weiter auswirkt! Leider hat meine Orange Sherbert gezwittert 😔. Woran das genau liegt, kann ich schwer sagen. Eine Überdüngung halte ich für unwahrscheinlich, da ich nur biologischen Dünger verwendet habe. Ich vermute, dass mein E-Feld-Experiment eine Rolle spielt. Um das zu bestätigen, werde ich nächstes Jahr einen neuen Durchlauf mit einer ähnlichen Sorte machen und prüfen, ob das elektrische Feld tatsächlich eine ungünstige Rückentwicklung der Pflanze verursacht. Day 70 in soil 😁😁😁 I never thought I'd make it this far tbh! I stopped giving the ladies nutes and have just started feeding phed water, and they seem to have all really taken well to it, some last week showing signs of problems which I think was due to the last feed, minor flush and all seem to be okay I think. The smell now is very strong when the tents open a lovely fruity aroma, touching the buds leaves the hands covered and stinking of a fruity lemon/citrus smell (could live with the smell, unreal). The buds have all started to fatten up massively over the last 14 days, some plants producing some amazing colours, all plants have their own difference however all producing equally as good bud sits and growth. I have no past growing experience but im glad I went for dinafem critical 2.0 after some research prior they have been forgiving throughout my learning stages and have been easy maintenance so far! Will get a few close ups with the jewlers glass tomorrow, thinking off letting them run another 7 days until harvest what's everyone's opinions? È appena cominciata la 3°settimana, le mie bimbe crescono molto bene😍.. A breve comincerò con LST! Aggiornamento: Ieri sera ho effettuato topping su tutte e tre le piantine, in giornata inizierò LST per riuscire ad esporre il più possibile alla luce le foglie tra gli internodi! Ultimo aggiornamento: Ormai e quasi finita anche la 3°settimana, ho iniziato LST da un paio di giorni, ho notato che le prime foglioline presentano delle piccole macchie marroni ma credo che sia normale considerando che si tratta delle foglie più vecchie.. Per il resto le piantine sembrano in ottima salute!💪

Things are getting serious now!🔥 #2 has developed an insanely large main bud, absolutely packed with trichomes and giving off a super pungent aroma. 🌿 Meanwhile, #1 keeps stretching and is still the biggest plant in the tent. It continues to give off that stunning sweet, tropical scent, which is just unreal! Both plants seem to be moving fast—I have a feeling they might be ready in about two weeks. Let’s see how they finish up! 🤩

Start of week 4, day 22. The girls grew tremendously during the last week, very nice branch growth, internodes and overall plant size. No trimming this feeding, just removed 2-3 dying leaves from the lowest branches. One of the girls is clearly shorter than the others, I think I will keep her in veg after this week and flip the other two to flower.

D50. The start of the second week of flower, and all is well in the tent. The girls stretched quite a bit in the first week, and I'm curious how much they will stretch this week. I did some additional defoliation, removing leaves and branches that didn't make it above the scrog. ------------------------------ D51. The first girl shows early signs of a deficiency, which I suspect is a lack of magnesium. I guess the recent stretch is the cause, but I think the stretch is slowing down. I gave each girl 2.5 liters of water with 1.5 teaspoons of Epsom salt and a foliar spray with Epsom salt. That should hopefully take care of any lack of magnesium. I also calibrated my Hygrometer since I've noticed lately that it seemed a bit off. Sure enough, it was off by 7.9%. ------------------------------ D54. The tent is blowing up! The girls look great, and the first buds have started forming. However, they have more than tripled in size in almost two weeks, and I'm slowly running out of room in the tent. I've raised the lights as far as they go, and I hope that will be sufficient as I'm going out of town for a week, and the girls will be left to their own devices. The chlorosis hasn't spread, so I think the Epsom salt helped. Other than that, there's not much to report. ------------------------------
