Day 42: first day of 12/12. Plants will only receive 12hrs of light today. Removed any red lst trainers in anticipation for stretch. Left the wire tied ones alone. Fed at about 1700. With R/O water my pH has actually been staying "perfect". I was using the system with tap before and would always have to adjust it a bit with ph up/down. The company recommends r/o water for a reason. Still no signs of PM and it's been over a week. Did a second spray of neem oil yesterday regardless. Looks great. Already did a heavy defol. a week ago so I think I'll be straight going into flower. I'll defol in a few weeks once the colas are noticable. Day 44: grew over night. Crazy. Responding well to 12/12. Some stems broke free from their LST wires and I had to retrain. Need to keep them short. This is definitely my tallest plant and I'm trying to keep the canopy even.

Put some into bigger pots, 2 are autos for sure. Still no idea what the others are though from the leaves on two I think they may be lemon kush but I'm really not sure.

Back again for another update from down under. Well Its been a week of unusual weather here-actually most of Australia is having bizarre weather ATM with flooding rains mixed in with high 30's heat and damaging winds. This is in part why I now grow more smaller and better trained plants rather than a couple of larger tree's. One bad storm can literally snap a tree in half so unless your ladies are protected from the wind you WILL have issues outside. Train them, keep them low to the ground and stake them just to be safe ok. Mine are just greening up and bushing out nicely this week, not much more to report other than wondering how much longer before they show me those lil white hairs-cmon ladies its nearly feb and your not flowering yet? Any day now im sure. Hash plant is growing a 1-2cms a day easily, ZkittleZ is bulking up now while Caramelo just seems to be growing more and more shoots-Not used to sativias grown like this-do I cut some off to improve quality or leave em alone to improve quantity? I cant even count how many heads there are now. But the big news is my lemon haze variegated X sour Diesel hybrid seems to be staying female so far- no leaf color at all but the first 3rd gen hybrid that doesnt look like either parents but more of a middle ground of the two, its stayed female so far!! Normally only the ones that looked really sour D like stayed female but this one has a lighter leaf color than normal Sour Ds, but also more the leaf shape of the lemon haze side. OCTOBER 20 (DAY 24): Week four has begun, and I am now so completely full of questions. I’ve got preflowers on at least 2 of the 3 plants, the terminal nodes (is that right?) on all three are looking... uh... busy... lots of long, skinny growth coming out of the bud sites. I am wondering if this means it’s time to start transitioning to bloom nutes, or if I’m a little early yet. On the subject of bloom nutes..... wtf? There are so many options, and it’s hard to tell what can be used with other things and what products are supposed to be direct competitors. This is definitely going to require some trial and error. I’m also not sure what to do about the lights. Because I’m using LST on some but not all of the plants, one is significantly taller than the others (and thus closer to the lights)... this looks like a grow question. OCTOBER 21 (DAY 25): After dealing with a runaway heat problem in my tent and major height discrepancies between the LST’ed plants and the control plant, I decided to reorganize the tent... again. I’ve got my tiny tent in a nook in my bathroom, and there aren’t any ports for intake fans at the bottom of the tent (just windows), so I had been running a small intake fan shoved right up between one of the mesh intake windows and the wall. That didn’t give a ton of open air for the intake fan to draw from, so I rotated the tent 90 degrees so the intake fan has the open room air to pull from. I also raised the LST’ed plants by about 6” so the canopies of all three plants will sit roughly equal. We’ll see if this works. Τoday I fed the plants again. I’m not sure if I am going to prefer to go the FF Bembe route or the AN Big Bud/Bud Candy/Overdrive route, so I am doing a side-by-side on my LST’ed plants. Plant 3 received Bud Candy today, while plant 1 will get Bembe starting next week. I have only been feeding the plants nutes once a week. I’m wondering if I should step that up or just stick to once a week unless the plants start squawking. Any feedback would be much appreciated. TL;DR: To flower or not to flower... to feed or not to feed... to water or not to water... these are the questions. Bubba Kush Mintz Autoflower is growing good. She just had a solution change yesterday, and ph correction today. She is starting to bulk, and will be given mainly potassium and phosphorus for her feed the rest of the grow. Everything is looking really good. 🍀Estuvo bien en toda su etapa, no tuve ningún problema. Ya no nos falta nada y la mirada de estas nenas seduce cada vez más. Super buena contextura nuestra sublimator es muy posible que este dentro de unos 10 días mas siendo que hoy por calendario ya deberia de estar lista (son plantas, no es mucha sorpresa) tiene un color muy bien marcado, un olor fuerte y dulce y ya casi llegando a su punto de cosecha. Nuestra amnesia molotov no a dejado de engordar y promete una producción muy suculenta y el olor es incluso aun mas penetrante que el de sublimator. De estar listo antes adelantare su cosecha y su estado, pero hasta entonces esperar y a hacer lavado con final flush de BAC

Sep 7: what a great plant. Totally love how it’s going. Flowers keep getting fatter and heavier and she’ll be done before the end of September. Sep 8: there a tree root sticking up a bit in my yard which means the plant can be tilted toward the late afternoon sun. This is helpful because the sun is getting really low to the horizon already and we’re down to 13 h of daylight. Plus now direct sun is done in my yard by about 6 pm. Indirect light is okay but you really want direct sun at all times. Videos shows use of 730 nm far red light at dusk. Just a few seconds is all it takes to set the plant into dark mode two hours faster. It’s a bloom booster because you get two bonus hours of darkness or a 26 h day. Very effective but don’t miss a night and you have to adjust the timing each night. When starting this on July 20 Civil Twilight, as listed on timeanddate.com for my location, was at 9:45 and today it was at 8:40 pm. The red light at dusk is a highly recommended trick if you have daily access to your outdoor plants. Also works indoors, of course, and on autos too. Also I think it helps ‘stabilize’ the plant by emphatically putting it into dark mode, and therefore less susceptible to stray light to cause a hermie. Have not had hermie problems in four seasons of using the red light so that is my only ‘proof’ but it is true so far, even with taking flash pics before using the red light. Sep 9: getting heavier and now more branches are weighed down and slumping against the scrog net. Nice problem to have, I know, and without the scrog net some of the branches would be breaking off now. She’s now officially too big and too top heavy to keep moving around the yard in pursuit of direct sun. Sun is much lower to horizon now and direct sun hours are dropping too. Sep 10: getting close to done and getting very top heavy. Awesome. Sep 12: raining today. Has been cool last few nights and some purple colour is just starting to show. I don’t want to overdo fertilizer near the end, but I decided she is showing K deficiency. I’m out of malted barley but I still have potassium silicate, so I used that and some cal-mag. I’m avoiding kelp and molasses or using more P at this late stage because that can make the dried bud hard to burn and that really sucks. So, potassium silicate and cal-mag it is. The potassium silicate raises the pH and it takes about the same volume of vinegar to get the pH down. A good does of acetate is likely good for the bugs in the soil too. Then a squirt of Dr Bronners soap as a surfactant and that also supplies some biodegradable carbon for the bugs in the soil. Seems to work overall and is cheap. They getting more thirsty, I have to water every 3 days now instead of once a week. I got a nice 4x4 tent so they can have there own space. Thinking about grabbing some cuttings off them to to keep them going and might start a whole new run with them🔥 to be continued.....🤟🏾

The plant is doing well overall this week! 💪 To handle a few fungus gnats that started showing up, I introduced nematodes into the soil and placed some yellow sticky traps, seems to be keeping things under control so far. She's growing quite tall now, definitely stretching up nicely, but not really filling out much in width. A true lemony skyscraper in the tent!😂💚
