The girls are coming along 😜

So much water usage this week! They started the week consuming about 5 gallons per day between the 8 plants. By day 4, they were consuming 10 gallons per day. That consumption caused my exhaust fan to run constantly to keep the humidity down. It nearly drained my tank of CO2, so I shut it off and set it to maintain 77 degrees and 55% RH. I came to the conclusion that I can only use CO2 in veg since it would seem to require some intense dehumidifying in room after they reach flowering size, and I only have enough room to fit a 30 pint which runs constantly and does not keep the humidity down on its own. The big left side plants are growing like crazy, and I am running out of squares in the screen. I had to start some additional training on branches to even out the canopy. Other than that, no problems. So far, so good! Some people have commented on crowding and airflow. Thanks for the input, everyone! Just to add some details about my airflow, I have 4 of the 6" oscillating clip fans. Two above and two below the canopy. There is a dehumidifier running constantly in the middle of the tent that is constantly blasting out warm air. There is an 800 cfm fan/filter recirculating air inside the tent. The 350 cfm Cloudline Infinity S6 exhaust fan runs frequently with CO2 on and constantly with it off with two 6" passive intakes at the bottom of the tent. Additionally, I remove fan leaves when they are crowding. I will do a major defoliation in week 3 and probably raise the screen a few more inches next week since I have a lot of stretching left to do.

27/04/2021 (Day 42) Todo viene muy bien, las plantas están comiendo con muchas ganas y consumen unos 15L de solución diario. La preflora está comenzando! Ya se puede observar como van estirando y mostrando bastantes pelos! Los Citizen x 8 están trabajando a un 80% rondado los 500W. 28/04/2021 (Day 43) Se realizo un nuevo cambio de solución, las plantas ya están tirando pelos y los leds están al 80%, se observo un gran crecimiento radicular y las paredes del tallo son increíblemente gruesas y duras. 03/05/2021 (Day 48) Las plantas vienen con un crecimiento optimo pero la flora se está tardando demasiado en hacerse presente, se estima que es debido al estrés que tuvo en semana 3 de vege produjo un retraso de algunos días. Esta semana se incorpora Safe Roots al sistema con la finalidad de que deje la solución lo mas limpia posible. También se realizaron bastantes defoliaciones ya que no existía penetracion de luz teniendo en cuenta el tamaño que están ocupando (85% del espacio de cultivo a 30/35 cm de altura)

The plant grows extremely quickly and is constantly tied down with plant clips to create the largest possible scrog area. The Ac infinity cloudforge t3 humidifier was installed.

Another good week with more growth, but not as big as I would like, so I moved the lights up higher halfway through the week. I also moved the fan onto a corner post and got bigger pots that I will transplant into this week. After topping last week, you can see new main stems starting. I also found out they need to be fed more than every other day as on friday morning a couple were a bit droopy. After feeding, later in the day, they had perked back up. Started to do some more training. Other than that, they just love to grow! I turned up the light every week by 5% until I reach a DLI of ~25.

Im feeding her steadily at around 825ppm every morning monitoring any possible deficiencies. I did defoliate quite a few leaves from the to[ and bottom once I felt that she is thriving happy and growing more vigorously during the stretch. I raised the light a full 2 feet. during week 1 and now at the end of week 2 the tallest stalk is about 14 inches while most are around 20. reason for a few stalks being taller is because of what happened when our 3rd plant ended up being a male during the transition to 12/12. Im not gna try anything crazy to try and fix it. Obviously there are no problems so dont fix whats not broken I guess. Have a great week !

Opium loves the outside sun, breeze, and frequent rain. Week 9 6/2-6/8 Now at the start of week 9, my outside gals, except L. Cake are now in flower. Several pics show the very narrow new leaves and small white hairs evidence of flower formation. 6/7 This is the first time I’ve had to add nutrients to her feeding. Some lower leaves were yellow. Since I’ve been using amended soil, this indicates Fractal is a heavy feeder. All are showing yellowing leaves so everyone is now getting nutrients with feedings. I saw a Japanese beetle on my Lemon Cake and some small holes in the leaves so I added 1/2 tsp neem to the feed solution 6/12. Also started using fish & kelp. I'm still watering 1 gal per plant when I feed 2x/week. With the heat and humidity, I water daily but do not feed daily.
