I just noticed my PH has been around 7, and a couple of the seed mothers are showing CAL/MAG deficiencies.. I use well water, and I don't have to adjust it in the summer, but around late fall the PH raises. I forgot to get good pics of the seed mothers, since I was focused on the STS formulas at the time, but these are the Pollen donors transforming into male flowers. 5 weeks old. The seed mothers are coming along nice with dime sized buds on them. I Topped them all at the 5th node, just before the cola, so the canopy would all be even under the lights. I just sprayed these reversed buds 1 time only on day 17, after the first STS treatments, with 50ppm of Gibberellic Acid (GA3) to stretch them out away from each other. Gibberellic Acid causes plants to stretch enormously, and PPM's of 50 to 100 can cause females to reverse to males.

Chopped them today, great coloring so far, really excited to see how they turn out by the end. There weren't any issues this week as it was just a flush and a few days of darkness. I've got to get better at lollipoping and maintaining the skirt in the future. Definitely a lot of wasted energy and nutrients going into flowers that never budded out.

Week 4 of flower is done. Adjusted the nutrient solution to the temps/humidity (vpd). If the VPD is high the solution should be more diluted. (At a VPD of 2 the Water Transports and transpiration is twice as high compared to a vpd of 1). This week I lowered the day/night temp difference for pest and disease control. By week 6 I’m going to lower the temps in general for quality and terp preservation. A bit defoliation was done to keep up a good circulation of air and a good penetration of light. I've defoliated a little as I go. One of the watermelon candy has a flat stem (Fasciation) I've been trimming the leaves as they are growing in abundance on the affected branches. The black orchid smells so good it's very pungent and captivating, I'm really looking forward to trying it now.

Another week has brought more new growth. She is drinking 4 gallons of water every 2-3 days now. I think I will likely transplant her into a 20 gallon pot this upcoming week. I can’t wait for this plant to start to flower. Although I am mildly worried about her stretch. I have grown this strain before and it can double in size when flowering starts 😬. But I can always do another round of lst to spread her out and keep her low. I will also be taking off a bunch of foliage in the coming days. Stay tuned 😎🍿🍻🌱

Am 27.01.21 die Ladies nach 5 Wochen vegetativer Phase in die Blüte geschickt. An den höchsten Zweigen superscropping durchgeführt um ein gleichmäßiges Höhenwachstum hinzubekommen. Dieser Strain entwickelt bis jetzt sehr viele große Blätter. In der nächsten Woche wird zum ersten mal großzügig entlaubt um das Licht an alle wichtigen Punkte zu bekommen. Durch den Stretch in den ersten Blühtewochen habe ich mich entschieden in der ersten Blühtewoche noch Wachstumsdünger zu gießen und erst in BW 2 umzustellen. Die Temperaturen sind aktuell bei ca. 18-19 Grad in der Nacht und 23-24 Grad am Tag. Die RLF liegt relativ konstant zwischen 43 und 50 %. Die Ladies sehen gesund aus. Für die aktive Zuluft ist es noch zu kalt. Der CO2 Gehalt ist aber auch so okay! Sorry für die schlechten Bilder unter dem Licht, nächste Woche wirds besser 😁

Good week, noticed I mutant plant out of all the strains I started. These are good to go .so far plants are really healthy and happy. Just did the sort transplant from 4.5 inch pots to 5 gallon pots.
