The ladies have finally made their journey into the final stages of flower and now it's flush time for her. She is covered in blanket of trichromes and smells wonderful like a kid in a candy store. The aurora is very strong and sweet with a hint of skunk. Color is vibrant purple, red, green with nice orange hairs. Can't wait to see how she tastes. Thanks @sweetseeds for the great beans.

Medium: Look, I love coco/soil, organic/synthetic just as much as anyone. I’ve never really hated on any particular method and each has its uses depending upon the environment. That being said.... hydro is likely to be the predominant indoor method for us going forward. It ticks all the boxes that the average hobby grower is looking for. Maintenance is generally pretty easy, while I’ve found myself monitoring ph and tds more frequently, I’m still only mixing nutes once a week instead of three. The hassle factor is crazy mitigated here👍. From a sustainability perspective, nute consumption is wayyyy down, saving more dolla bills y’all! Added bonus is that veg. Growth rates are just insanely fast. From the moment she popped her head out to the start of week 4, this girl was fimmed, pruned, trained and flipped. She put out a full oz. more than the 6 week(v) mainline beside er😳. Now that is just straight amazing😎. The key advantages - BIG F$&K’N YIELDS and auto pilot care for up to 2 weeks. It is a little bit of a tricky medium but once you dial in the ratios - smooth sail’n the whole grow. I can focus on training/maintenance instead of feeding🤟🤟. If there’s a drawback to DWC it would be that I’d have concerns about leaving it for more than a couple days when she’s in full flower. They just drink so much that It’s a constant top off. All told, far and away the most effective and economical medium we’ve used😎. Method 🎚️🎚️🎚️🎚️🎚️ Under this COB light system, the best method to date has definitely been a mainline. It’s got so much canopy penetration that we’re pulling down 16” long colas packed with well developed buds. Here’s where strain, medium and method kinda collide though. This girl was on a hurry up and go schedule. We lost the first one to root rot and had to get this one off the ground and mature before the cycle sched. Was gonna flip. Not to mention it was totally screwing with our spring nursery timing too. She was fimmed once and then splayed with LST. Not much either - just enough to get er spread apart a little. So you combine ultra fast growth rates of hydro with a big yield strain like this on a fast paced training method that limits required recovery times... and you get this monster. Just a perfect grow that anyone would be extremely happy with. We used frozen water bottles In the res. twice a day throughout the grow. My issues with light leaks and temps are well documented and I’m constantly running up against one or the other as a hurdle. This plant was no different and she started to re-veg. In the last few days prior to chop. All due to a light leak from the cabinet beside this one that was running on an 18/6. Gonna have to plug some light holes prior to next grow. Other than that - she was amazing and the method here is getting an unusually high and very rare 5/5.😳 Yield/Harvest🌴🌴🌴🌴 The final number is just so sweet. 6.04oz and she veg’d less than a month. Overall, I could confidently say that’s both faster and better than most typical autos in general😳😎👍👌. Any time your rock’n out 5+oz is a good haul but in this kinda time frame - that’s just crazy. We let her go just a little longer (again, as per Spliff’s direction) and it was worth the extra patience. She’s dense as all hell and a nice add to the stash🤟. JUL 15- so she needs some defoliation and some general maintenance because she is starting to lean over, but im out of town for another week. She had some nutes given to her this week. Also, her trichombes are very frosty this girl puts out alot of zap. The one in front is a Mexican Sativa strain which I set to flower a day after her. Also have some Habaneros in the Tent they are awesome they love the Nutes

14/07 - We are in week 5 of veg now and this will most likely be the last week before flip. Training has been going well and there have been no signs of deficiency. Many main sites are starting to shoot up and the plant height is starting to reach close to the net. I will feed them later this week with more flower specific nutrients to prepare for flip. 19/07 - Watered both plants with just water phd at 6.5. Next watering I will introduce flowering nutes. Finally into the last week of flower. It's been a long road, but the end is near and I couldn't be more excited. She has definitely bulked up over the last couple of weeks. The trichomes are milky with a few Amber's showing. I am busy flushing. I'm going to put her into 48 hours of darkness before I chop. Wish me luck.

Day 51 - Into the beginnings of week 8 and all is looking good so far. She’s still got a few days before she needs any water and she’s really fattening up each day. Other than that, not much happening with her. Day 52 - She’s definitely fattened up quite a bit the last couple of day but hard getting the light spread out to some of her outer branches so my new light should be here and installed tomorrow. She’ll be needing her watering tomorrow as well, she’s almost dry. Day 53 - Gave her 2 gallons of plain pH’d water today and she seems to be the only one not really bothered by the heat in the tent. I’m doing what I can to keep things as cool as I can but not helping much. Either way, this girl still seems to be thriving so not complaining too much about her. Day 54 - Looks good after watering yesterday, he next will be nutes. She is fattening up beautifully. Other than that, I think she’s really liking the second light in there and the heat doesn’t seem to bother her too much though it’s finally cooling down a bit. Day 55 - Nothing major happening today, she’s doing good after her watering yesterday and it appears she’s still chunking up. Got some updated pictures today as well.

This girls just chugging along. She seems to look good??? Have had No leaf curling, discoloration or spotting 🤞 so far... Don't defoliate much since she looks and seems so strong and healthy. Only got about 6 more of hey own grids on the Scrog net and she'll have covered two thirds the available lit floor space. Gonna start Nature's Living Soil Girl Flower Power. 2nd week Flower Yay.

Fungus gnats were in full effect here due to the Down-to-Earth potting mix. That stuff doesn't drain worth a damn! I had just sprayed the plants with neem oil and soap in this video... and needless to say that didn't turn out well (more to follow) In other news, the French Macaron roots were growing like crazy at this point.

Hi Guys, Grow Diaries for whatever reason won't allow me to upload my complete harvest video which is a real bummer because I mainly do the videos for my YouTube channel but decided to also include them on grow diaries to give other growers who might be considering growing the same strain in the future. Helps give people an idea of what to expect when they grow it. But honestly I can't be bothered to re-edit it to fit to Grow Diaries setting which I don't even know what they are.... Didn't think they had any! Maybe it's the length of my video..... 🤔! I don't know, but I like to give growers a good description of the strain and smoke review. I hate it when I go to others peoples pages to have a look at a strain I'm thinking of growing and them not having hardly any pictures that properly show you the growth stages of the plants.... Really annoying. Which is why I chose to properly document mine to give you guys or try to give you guys the best view of my grows..... All MC’s are on a diet of water only, PH 6.2 🥈🥦 Silver Kush #1 (front left) has a solid week left. SK #2 (front right) is pretty far behind. I’ll probably just cut #2 down and dry it where it’s at, when I cut SK #1. I can’t postpone my next grow just to let the small one get a few more grams. More than likely it’ll all go in the bubble bags. (50/50 mix.) 💡 Again, The new version of Spider Farmer SF-4000 is an awesome light, for anyone wondering. Can’t say enough good things about this light! This is my first LED and it seems to be doing fantastic. (The pictures: I re added the overall and video from last week, day 6. It was the final minutes before the light shut off. So pretty close to day 1, week 8...)
