Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. Day 49 of flower and this girl is so impressive! Super resinous and the smell is out of this world. If you even lightly bump into her the intoxicating scent of grape faygo and gasoline hits you like a sledgehammer. She goes into her "flush" (emerald harvest suggests a flush that uses a low amount of their base nutrients so thats what I do) starting tomorrow.

Slow growers

Week 6 went well. The buds are putting out a second wave of pistils and are starting to fatten up. Jilly is starting to smell more and put out more trichs on sugar leaves. She smells very sweet and fruity so far.

I really like create this budzai auto plant. Don't grow as I expect. But a really beautiful plant. And create two nice buds. The smoke is amazing.

She’s still stretching! This week I removed Voodoo Juice, Tarantula and Piranha, and added B-52 and Bud Factor X (never tried this one before). Since the princess loves this 2ml/L dosage for NPK nutes, I’ll not be touching that for the moment. That seems to be the optimal dosage for a sativa like this. Very nice!

Nice growth and bud developtment. Hps still doing its thing while im sitting back and relaxing. Got to keep an hawk eye on watering. I feed full strenght going over to full canna so they were transplanted into soil. Clones doing good but the Lemon skunk clone dont feel to good. Lets see what the week will bring.

Die letzte Woche lief ohne Störung und Probleme, wahrscheinlich hätte man noch 5 bis 10 Tage warten können für 20% Bernstein, aber das ist eh nicht unser Ziel. Jedoch sind 74 Blüte Tage für ein Fast Flower schon ordentlich. Es sei aber bemerkt das auch die Frühe Ernte schon gut schmeckt, jedoch ist die Buddichte der frühen Ernte nicht mit dem Aktuellen Zustand vergleichbar. Also warten lohnt sich, wie immer! Gesamt Gewicht Nass 750g ungetrimmt mit Stängel ohne Stamm.

I think the pro emit UVA do an awesome job...but i have to lower the length...some plants have a slight burn...right now they're on for 8h a day, will lower it to 6h 1 week to go Now it's flushing time... only water till harvest

📆 Semana 6 La Variegated Sour GPP está avanzando con personalidad propia. Aunque no ha mostrado variegación en esta ocasión, se está expresando de forma muy peculiar: los cogollos tienen una estructura apretada y densa, con una forma que recuerda a una pequeña coliflor —compacta, nudosa y muy distinta al resto del jardín. El plan nutricional sigue siendo el de XpertNutrients, que está funcionando sin pegas. Esta planta está comiendo bien y sin quejarse. El ritmo de riego lo mantengo ajustado a su consumo real, evitando saturaciones y permitiendo que respire entre riegos. Los Adlite siguen haciendo un trabajo excelente, y se nota sobre todo en cómo ha desarrollado las puntas: la iluminación pareja ha ayudado a que los cogollos se formen de manera simétrica y con buena producción de resina. A nivel climático, seguimos con temperaturas en torno a los 22-25°C y una humedad del 55% que, aunque no es ideal, no está generando problemas gracias a una buena ventilación y movimiento de aire constante. Los aromas comienzan a destacar con una mezcla ácida y ligeramente especiada, fiel al perfil Sour. Los tricomas se están volviendo lechosos, sin señales de ámbar todavía, así que aún queda margen para que siga cogiendo cuerpo. No tiene la variegación que esperábamos, pero sí una expresión floral única que la convierte en una candidata interesante para seguir observando. ¡Seguimos creciendo fuerte! 💪

We started the week by transplanting the Orange Groovy F1 into the 3.6L pots filled with our SWA super-soil: we waited a bit more compared to the first 8 transplants just to make sure the roots were strong enough. At the same time we realized that the Orange Groovy F2 was the first plant ready for topping. This week we continued using our Lumatek dimming it at 60%. We are watering them with 1L divided by all 9 of them of osmosis water. On days 16 and 17 we topped every plant (except for Golden Pussies which still need a couple days and the Orange groovy F1 which we will not top because of her smaller size). We noticed that most of our plants presented lightly yellowed tips. We think that this is due to the deficiency of some immobile elements such as Ca, Fe, S. To solve this problem, we will put some decanted water (because it doesn't contain Chlorine which kills our bacterial substrate life) to give them the correct nutrients. We failed topping Orange Groovy F2 because the central apical started to grow even after cutting it but we kept it just to see what is going to happen. Golden Pussy F2 has been topped too and it went perfectly as you can see in the pictures. The plants continue to grow out of all proportion!
