Alright I've updated this postmortem and cure just to give an idea of what I was up to during the dry and cure weeks. This grow was a ton of work and I'm very please with the results. I learned a ton about soil and environment control and really feel like I'm gaining confidence and coming into my own as a cultivator. I've been playing a lot with ice water hash and rosin and have set some neat goals for the future like hunting ice water hash cultivars, going perpetual and expanding the amount of canopy I can work with by building a network of remote-operated satellite flower tents in friends' and family's abodes . W11F7 8/17-23 HARVEST 8/19 This past week has been rainy and overcast from a tropical storm with temperatures mostly in the upper 80s. We had Hurricane Erin with wind gusts of 30-40 MPH. While we won’t be directly hit by the storm, we will get the outer bands of heavy winds and rain. To protect my plants, I brought all the girls inside on Tuesday in preps for the storm. I inspected each one for bugs, rot or anything unusual. I did not find any bugs or bud rot on AK47. The leaves have some wind burn but that doesn’t affect the plant in any way. Auto AK-47XL is 59 days from germination. Divine Seeds indicates it is ready for harvest from the end of August to early September. 8/19 AK-47XL Auto grew outside until harvest today. I put her in the 3x3 in the dark for 3 days and cut her and hung her on August 23rd. Trichomes were mostly milky with only a few amber so it was time to harvest since AK47 is sativa and I don’t want a sedative effect. The smell is woody and piney with only a hint of citrus. From what I see and smell AK47XL should be a nice wake and bake vape. I can’t wait.

Hi all the happy people here in GrowDiaries. This is my second cultivation ever and it will be fun to try a bigger space than my closet grow. First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. I put some pictures on the construction here in week one. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. Hy Growmies, The stretch is over, so I switched to CANNA Aqua Flores. Almost screwed up since I Had a light leak through some Styropor and had some white slime on the roots under the leak. Removed the water and sprayed them directly with some 3% hydrogen peroxide. Worked great now we are on track again.
