The buds are rippening and fattening a lot every day, the smell is also getting much stronger.

The double kush cake has done well in the last two weeks with almost no feeding as I realised that I overfeed her. She will continue to dry out until enough oxygen is in the substrate before I feed her again. She has ceased growing with roughly 2cm growth in the last two weeks. She is now on full bloom with little stunt on the pistols. She is filling the gaps a bit more than I anticipated and her leaves seem to be stabling out fine. She now stands approximately 58cm from the soil.

got the camera issue fixed and will get a time lapse up tonight :) The pH issue is back where it drops to about 4.6 by the next night and i think thats causing the brown spots on the leaves. Im starting to see some owange hairs so im thinking she has about 2 weeks ish left.

growing this strain was super easy, but for some reason i had 5 seeds and i wanted to germinate another 2 and i followed the germination process 420 fast buds has on the web and unfortunately from 5 seeds just 1 germinated. which you can see in this diary. the buds are really fat and they smell super fruity and they get you really high lol

The thing I love about this strain is how little the largest branches stretch and how much the lower branches come up to the main level. With some diligent training I was able to get probably the most dense and even canopy I’ve ever accomplished. Can’t wait to see how this progresses through flower.

The plants grow well in the first week I had 100% germination in the seeds, for a first-time sailor I'm happy. I added the humidifier to keep the humidity at 65%. Now in the second week I increased the quantity of fertilizers but always following the supplier's table and the plants seem to be enjoying their food.

Heeey all! Sorry for the huge amount of photos but this week was crazy. So many things happened and my lack of knowledge clearly showed up. I ended stressing one of my plants for no reason! 😱 At the start of the week everything was normal until I noticed that one of Roko's buds looked weird. It seemed to be too dry and orange for my tastes and I didn't know what it was. Obviously I started to ask around and I got so many mixed messages haha. Some people said it was nothing and I should not worry about it and others said they were 100% sure it was botrytis or budrot... aaaaaaaand I got paranoid lol. 😵😨 At first I tried to keep calm and ignore it for one day but the next one the bud looked even worse and that's when I feared the worst. What if it's really budrot? In general the values I write in here are approximates or an average of the week.. and usually my tent never goes over 60% of RH (in the dark it stays between 50% to 60% when I water them and on some rare occasions it reaches 65%). This time, after I checked the thermometer it said "75% of RH" but I did not know if it was during their sleep time or maybe some time after the lights went on) so once again I feared the worst! What if the plants stayed all the night with that amount of RH? Was that enough time for them to develop budrot? What if it's still nothing? Yikes. 😭 I had to do something and I did, I wasn't going to risk everything! I started removing the worst looking leaf to see if there was anything mushy or ugly between it and the pistils but I didn't see anything (maybe I was safe and that was something else? Or maybe the budrot was even deeper and I could not see it?) After reading I realized that the best idea was to cut the bud in half and then slice it to "see" if there was anything inside... so I did it and absolutely nothing showed up 😖! Those were good news! Sadly tho the poor plant had to go thru some stress after cutting that bud in half (at least from what I saw the insides were tightly packed and the photos showed some really cool stuff) The rest of the week was uneventful (compared to what I feared haha) and some leaves started to change even more in color (I love it). I think I'll start with the flush next week or the one after that one. There are some amber trichomes...! Thanks all for checking my diary! Hopefully you'll all find the pictures interesting! PD: None of the plants have seeds in them, even when one of the sliced buds seemed to be making them!

Day 17 17/07/24 Wednesday De-chlorinated tap water pH 6 with calmag 5ml -5L. Very humid week, noticed a green turning colour on top of soils where the humidity has been far to high. I have installed door netting and recently left open all day and night now so they can condition over night in colder temps. All are doing well, one overdose slightly behind and looking ABIT swifted. But she'll come around 💪💚 Day 19 19/07/24 Friday Lite Feed today, 250ml each pot small run off. Seeing excellent start to these babies. It is interesting to see how much the plant has grown since I switched lights 7 days ago. #6& #7 have grow in height while #8 has filled out more Started weaving #6& #7. #8 is still 1" from trellis. I am going to set next trellis by end of week. Turned up RED/IR/UV to 50% Feed plants 9-18-22 Day 8 WOW ,I can not believe the growth since yesterday! The plants easy grew 1"-2" ! Decided to put second trellis in this morning! Feed plants 9-19-22 Day 9 Plant #7 & #8 are close to reaching the second trellis. #6 is just now starting to reach the first trellis. However the hight difference between #6,#7 & #8 is really just 2"-3". Should be able to fill fairly evenly. 9-20-22. Day 10 Feed plants this morning. The plants look green and healthy. The temperatures, humidity, height, and watering volume(if measured) in grow conditions are all averaged for the week. The pH is soil pH. Any watering done by me is well water which is 7.6 pH and 50° F. Any listed nutrients are ml/gallon of soil to be spread evenly on top of the soil. Day 1 we had a high temperature of 88°F. We had on and off rain and thunderstorms throughout the day. The rain took care of the watering. The #1 and #2 plant responded well to defoliation and treatment. The #3 plant will have some more leaves stripped and everyone will get treated with Growers Ally again tomorrow. Day 2 we had a high temperature of 94°F with clear sunny skies. I watered about 5 gallons from the well. I treated these again with Growers Ally fungicide. The warmer nights, blazing sun, and this fungicide have really cleared up that powdery mildew. They've also decided to go all in on flowering. Day 3 we had a high temperature of 94° with sunny skies. Heat index was over a hundred. It was super hot today. I watered twice about 8 gallons total. Everything looked good after treatment. Day 4 we had a high temperature of 95 and partly cloudy skies. I watered twice about 4-5 gallons each time with well water. Day 5 we had a high temperature of 91°F with partly cloudy skies. I watered twice today 4-5 gallons each pot, each time. The #3 plant is still having some pm on a few of the lower leaves. The other two look great after treatment. Day 6 we had a high temperature of 88°F with sunny skies. I watered 5-6 gallons each pot. Day 7 we had a high temperature of 93°F with sunny clear skies. I watered 4-5 gallons each pot twice, from the well. This week was a success. The girls survived the powdery mildew outbreak. The Growers Ally worked great. They're continuing to grow tall. I can get my tape up there, but they're so tall I can't reach it with my step ladder to take the pictures. The super hot weather this last week just turned them on. They are loving it.

I'm very happy with this grow! I've end up with beautiful plant that i can't wait to try! So far the strain is covering its product description and i would definitely recommend it to everybody!

It's been 23 days of flower now and The gals are still loving the fc4800 and their new 8x8 mars hydro grow tent as much as I do👍 leaves are sticking straight up towards the light. Love how easy the zippers are to open and close. Nice and strong and guaranteed to last. It has extra material on the backside of the zipper that helps for light leaksand enough ports and vents for anything you need in it👍. the tsw2000 is still going strong and is also a very good light. Its been going almost nonstop for 6 months and still working the same as when I got it👍. not much heat off both lights but the fc4800 is alot cooler and the heat-sinks work extremely well. I have it daisy chained to the tsw2000 and 1 dimmer controls the other and i don't need to be reaching in too far to dim the other light, it's awesome and I can't wait to buy more lights to daisy 4 together👍. I would recommend this light to everyone that grows with leds and have trouble with temperatures getting too high. Even if you grow with HPS lights I think any mars hydro light is a MUST TRY. I like how heavy both lights are because I know it means they are built soild and strong 💪. Very good sign with the frost they are starting to get thanks to bith mars hydro lights. I can notice more frost under the fc4800 and I'm thinking it's from the UV DIODES they put on the fc4800 👍. 2 days ago they all smelt like my nuken, sweet marshmallows. But now I can smell the monkey dough and gorilla glue and skunk monkey coming through👍. I touched a bud on the gorilla and monkey fingers smelt like fruit loops👍 really pleasant smell. Lingered on my fingers for atleast 30 min. I'm glad mars hydro is under priced compared to some brands and for how popular they are usually companies would charge more. Thanks mars you guys are awesome 🤘🥁🎸. I'm getting a new exhaust fan soon. An 8 inch that will work alot better than my 4 inch lol. Wayyy to small for a 8x8 Grow Tent. Dehumidifier is going almost non stop to try and get the humidity down. I love how both lights on 100% power only raise my temperature 2 or 3 degrees 👍. You can rest your hand on the lights and not much heat comes off them. Obviously there is some heat but for the brightness of the lights and only raising the temp that much is awesome 👌.  And if I wanted to I could remove the driver from the fc4800 and run it on the outside of my tent because the cord is so long but 2 or 3 degrees is barely nothing👍. The girls are starting to bulk up abit now and only 3 weeks of flowering, these lights are awesome 👌.  My last run of monkey dough and gorilla glue didn't start showing alot of crystals until week 4. These were only 2.5 weeks and I started noticing some frost. Next week I will be able to tell more about what these custom bred seeds will be like. I love how the smell is changing now. Didn't want all them to smell like nuken marshmallows lol. It's awesome that I can get right inside the tent to do any work i need👍. Even if I wanted an 4x8 tent. Starting this week I will also add Oxygen granulate (KMPS, CAS-70693-62-8, 2KHSO₅ * KHSO₄ * K₂SO₄) I use this once a day to reach ~250 mV on my ORP meter, it is not calibrated so it more of a good guess, adding this helps to keep the reservoir stable even with higher nutrient temperatures in summer and it also adds a little Kalium/Potassium for the plants. The ORP probe is not calibrated and values are to be taken with a grain of salt. Values are average of the day.
