Flora third week!!

Another week has gone by and this small girl is looking mightier and mightier as the time goes by. Nice long buds forming and starting to see some nice colours coming in. The leaves are curling and browning a bit, pretty sure it's nutrient burn but the other plants on the same reservoir are more than happy, so she will just have to keep on pushing through. Did turn the lights up 100% (+10%) just to get the canopy closer to 600 umol/s from the previous 550 umol/s. Should start to see the buds swell up this week, let's keep our eyes peeled and out fingers crossed.

all in all it was an ok grow... it was the 1st time using kind soil. i have now upgraded to 1000w light and another tent ... so i will see how my next grow goes

Hey all! 🙌 It's me again, after a hiatus I'm back in action and this time I'll be growing two plants! The strain is Green Gelato from Royal Queen Seeds and the two babies are going to be Pistachio and Matcha, two green ice creams flavors to match with the strain name! 😋 I started soaking both seeds in a glass with water for 24 hours to hydrate them (I forgot to take a photo of this!) and after that I placed them in a jiffy pellet. After some days Pistachio was the first one to show while Matcha was still being a little behind. During this I made a small mistake, instead of opening the cardboard box where I placed the seeds I left the baby plant inside so she grew a bit too much during the night... ooops! But nothing too serious (I got it fixed after moving her into a cup). Some days after Matcha appeared but it seemed she was having a small issue, it seemed like part of her shell was still stuck to her so I helped by removing it and then she started to grow normally once again. Right now I moved Pistachio to one of those red cups and I used some mycorrhizas on her! Glomus mosseae and glomus intraradices to be more precise! Next week I'll be doing the same with Matcha. 😊 I also started making a timelapse (I think it looks awful haha but it helps to see how Matcha started to recover!) I'm really not disappointed with the growth this week. All are doing well except the Royal Cheese but she is fighting against the damage. Keep Growing everyone! 👍

Semana tranquila. Algunas hojas inferiores se están poniendo amarillas por falta de luz. Este cultivo decidí no quitar hojas y dejar que las plantas tuvieran el mínimo de estrés, por lo tanto las hojas inferiores no reciben luz. Las flores han aumentado bastante de tamaño y ya comienza a oler bastante rico el cuarto. Están consumiendo prácticamente dos litros de líquido al día. Buenos humos para todos!

2 days after germination I put her in a cocoplug and my Liberty Haze was among the first to show.

The girls are smelling really nice…turned out a seed project but I sure would get some fire smoke. I’ve been feeding her 3 gallons of water daily preparing her for some charcoal ash…

This week was mostly about maintenance, balancing the canopy, and keeping the rhythm steady. The lighter green pheno keeps drinking well and is building buds consistently. Growth in biomass seems to have slowed, which is fine — she’s clearly channeling her energy into flower production now. No new leaf mass, but steady bud development. The darker green pheno, on the other hand, required real work this week. She had become very dense and bushy, so I carefully defoliated her, opening the canopy and removing shaded bud sites that would never reach proper light. I was mindful not to overdo it, giving her just enough space and air without stressing her further. The result is a much more open structure with better airflow and a cleaner look. The PPFD increase to 1000–1050 µmol/m²/s from the week before shows no negative effects — both plants are handling the light intensity well. They’re responding steady and healthy, which gives me confidence to keep them at this level. Overall, the tent is vibing steady right now. The darker pheno got a fresh haircut and is breathing again, while the lighter one keeps cruising, stacking buds even if she’s not pumping out more leaves. Light levels are up, the girls are chill, and I’m just letting the ride flow. It feels like the darker pheno might even catch up and outshine her bright sister. For now, I’m keeping my hands off as much as possible, letting them finish strong so I can roll into the next project. 🚀

El frio se ah anticipado bastante, el dia dura 12hs y la planta esta empezando a ponerse cada vez más morada cosa que me gusta mucho, ya que hace mucho que no cultivo una variedad morada

Bonne semaine dans l'ensemble, les 2 plus grandes plantes qui avaient des tuteurs mesurent maintenant 30 cm, je vais passer en floraison. J'ai trouvé le moyen de baisser la température en ouvrant la porte de la box... C' est pas très discret. J'ai baissé un peu le chauffage aussi. Je n'ai pas arrosé beaucoup mais les plantes ne semblent pas souffrir, tous les trois jours à peu près. Les noeuds sont éloignés les uns des autres, ont voit clairement l'influence sativa, à part peut être sur un ou deux phénotypes...

I currently have the ladies drying in my dry tent on day 3 now. I have my temperatures around 61-63 degrees stable, with 50-60% RH fluctuating. Will be updating the diary with weights once they finish drying and I get them all trimmed up! Thanks everyone for taking a look, super stoked with how my first run turned out and will be starting my second run in the next few days as well so super excited. I have learned a lot from this run and looking forward to implementing things into my next run to improve. Will also update more info about the strain once I have it for sure. Good luck with all your grows and best wishes! Dried for about 9 1/2 days. Just finished a 12 hour trim session, that was a lot. I ended up with 18.3 ounces of nicely trimmed buds, and a ton of larf and trim (26 ounces) which is fine because I will be dry sifting and pressing on the nugsmasher! I did press out a little and have some work to do to figure that thing out and dial it in. I have learned a ton from this grow and look word to applying to my current grow. I see and have a much better understanding of feeding, training, and now I kinda see what is and is not going to developed that much. Going to give these girls time to cure. Will update. The buds are becoming every day bigger and hairy and some trichomes starting to develop quite nice. the Smell is not so strong at the moment perfectly manageable by the carbon filter. I'm still struggling with some nutes and ph stress but the plant seems to keep growing. I'm gonna flush with 20 l at 1.2 EC and ph 6.6 and letting her dry for 5 days and then ill give her a boost of 1.8ec so that lots of oxygen goes to the roots.

The bud's are not like I wanted it because the room temperature more than 34 degrees 4 weeks ago I think 2 0r 3 weeks flowering to harvest

***Sponsored Grow*** = Medic || https://medicgrow.com || Grow = ***Sponsored Grow*** This week has been interesting, I was getting some weird runoff numbers in terms of EC/PPM and PH, so I decided to try and bring the PH up with a flush of high PH water into the medium. I did not have any PH up on hand so I used borax, PH of 9-10 plus it will help kill off any microbes in the soil that I believe is causing the PH swings. After doing this and getting the PH I wanted in the solution I released that the amount of B in the solution was to high and would cause more issues down the road, It was late in the day so I left the next flush to fix the excess B till tomorrow morning. Morning came and when I processed to flush I added in a bit of peroxide to the water and a dash of dish soap to break the waters surface tension so it flows through the pots more easily. This was going fine till it started to not drain out at all. I think it was foaming up in the medium and preventing a normal flow, plus on two of the pots I lost my perlite that sits on the top of the medium. I had to massage the pots "like when you transplant" to make then start draining again and then purchased a Yucca extract to help it flow through. Everything is back to normal. The pots are really root bound and should be transplanted but its mid flower and that's not going to be happening. I also don't know if I'd even have the space for it. I added in a b1 vitamin as well on recommendation of grow shop as apparently their other lineup I purchased did not have any. No idea if its working well only first week in the feeding. The Cytokelp is fun, but the one hormone in it is similar to a PGR but its not a real PGR. I am skeptical of it and not using it as foliar, just root watering. I also added in a bit of CaMg supplement that gave the plants a boost in N and Ca. The mg of this product was lesser then others I have seen about a 5:1 ratio of Ca to Mg. after the big flushes the runoff was hitting 120ppm so I gave it a good feed at 1.8EC Time will tell If i fucked it up royally by doing all this, this ETS plant is still going strong and is the 2nd best plant in the tent, it very well may get 1st some harvest time as I was detecting some strong whiffs of a kushy berry smell coming off it, it was sexy as fuck! All the plants are still stretching but it seems slow to me. Maybe it will continue going but it only put on about 2cm in the last week and a half. Feels slow. I may see more stretching in the next week upcoming and it just had a ruff start. Lights still running at 100% with V1 spectrum, everything seems to be working just fine, no light burn. Good little week, Last week I did not update the diary till a few days after when I took all the pics and videos but it is 1 week apart from last despite it only being 3 days GD post time. Transplanted my little plant #4 into a 2Gal pot, gave it some LST and a 2nd topping and took off some leaves that where touching the dirt after LST. This one will grow outside of the tent and I will get it under some supplemental lighting as soon as I get a box/text going for it. I won't be using my sf1000 Like I previously thought of doing, I'm going to put it under my 6500K Sun Blaster LED strips that I like. the 18" ones daisy chained together. Fun little thing I noticed is when I drilled holes into the pot a few inches up for air pruning. It made a line in the root ball that divides it in two half's. nice to have extra roots, might be a reason to do this on other pots that are hard plastic. Even if it smaller pin hole sized vs larger 1-2cm holes I bet its beneficial for my grow style. Have some before and after LST photos of it. these plants are trippers and can handle some abuse. All clones have roots now as well, that's a big bonus. They came out of the humidity bag I had them in and so far no signs of excess stress. Will keep them in smaller containers till I know what plant I like the best if any out of the mix. Will likely only be going off of looks vs taste or effects. I also might just gorilla garden them in a few spots I know of. I have a buddy in the city who has a garden and does nothing with it. If I plant them there they will sink up their yard im sure and they will love it. Regarding the LST snaps from last week, I have patched up the breaks with some string, its not 100% and kinda shity but the plants are healthy, I have heard some users use surgical tape with much better results so will need to grab a roll of this in the feature if I continue to snap the ladies on LST. Not much going on other with them, they are getting acclimated to their new home, no water was needed just letting them explore, will likely need to give them a nice water in a few days once they drink up the rest of the pots volume. After that will top again and then flip to flower after a week of recovery. so week 11 or 12 flip to flower.
