Good day every one, The flowering is going on just perfect. New branches began to actively gain flowers. For additional stimulation of new flowers, I installed a household extra LED lamp. no problem with the PH at all , no problem with the PPM : thanks to Hesi.

OMG I am beyond excited to talk about my Medusa Girl in her first week of flowering. Let me tell you, she's an absolute goddess in my garden. She's been loving the autopots just as much as I have. I mean, who wouldn't love having their water and nutrients taken care of automatically? It's like a dream come true for any gardener. And my Medusa Girl seems to be thanking the gods for it every day. Speaking of gods, have you ever heard of Medusa? I can't help but make a little joke about it, considering the name of my plant. But instead of turning people to stone, my Medusa Girl is turning heads with her perfect bud formation and gorgeous growth. I'm in love with every little thing about her, from her deep green leaves to the way she seems to be always praying to the gardening gods for a bountiful harvest. 🗓️ WEEK 2 / DAYS 8-14 (flo) 💧 To tackle this week, I've increased the EC to 1.8, PH is nicely oscillating between 5.9 and 6.1. Her thirst is definitely increasing, as she's now drinking about 2.5 LT/day. 🌱 As early as day 10 of flowering she was already clearly showing preflowers – much earlier than any other photoperiod strains I've grown before, I'm really impressed! The plant seems to have undergone a complete metamorphosis and has become absolutely beautiful; you can really see it in the video I took on day 14 flo. Around mid-week, I did another round of defoliation – nothing too extreme, but it was necessary to improve air circulation and expose more of those preflower sites to the light. In terms of stretching, she shot up from 29 cm to 42 cm this week!

The 3 smaller autos are at day 20, the Strawberry cheesecake 30 days or so, I think the topping really stunted it but we'll see how the buds develop. The other three had there first top dress with powderfeed biogrow. I am not going to bother topping the others.

Yall see the yellowing of the leaves closest to the top? I've since switched my nutes over to Tiger Bloom and I've thrown in some Cal-mag into the mix. They'd gotten kinda droopy but since I changed their nutes up a bit, they've been perky af even tonight as it's getting close to lights out. I switched them over to flower on Sunday. They're already starting to stretch in just a few days which tells me that they're feeling much better. My last video... even though it's not loaded correctly is from tonight. It's 11pm, lights are out in an hour and they're still perky. Love it!! 😍😍😍 4/6/23: Yall.... the plant in the back right hermied!!! OMFG. The 2 tallest branches had seeds on them... just popped up because they weren't there yesterday or at least I didn't notice. The seeds were concentrated at the top, I didn't find any on the rest of the plant but with as bushy as they are, there may be more. I cut those 2 tallest branches down to below where the seeds were but I will be watching that plant and the rest like a hawk for more seeds. I didn't find any on the other 3 plants but still I'm saddened. Unsure of why this one plant is hermie'ing. Smh

Aug 3: this is a very promising looking plant. She’s quite big and flowering quite quickly which is a great combo. She was the exact same size as my other photoperiod until the start of flowering two weeks ago, and now she’s bigger and flowering faster. Humidity is quite low during the day so I’m continuing to mist the leaves a few times during the day. Did a foliar spray of Extreme Blend and potassium silicate this morning. Aug4: did a major defoliation to remove small lower buds and stuff that was growing in toward the centre. This improves light penetration and air flow which are super important but also forces the plant to direct the energy where you want at the main colas, and not wasted down below. Aug 5: lots of buds forming quickly on lots of decently uniform colas. Should be good. Big rain last night but plants were in dark garage. Watered this morning with 27 C water that had blackstrap molasses, soluble seaweed extract, Monster Maxx and Cal-Mag. Did all four on the weak side of the standard concentrations listed and just 1L used on the plant. Much cooler today so she won’t need as much water. Aug 6: added UV lights from AC Infinity. Very well deigned and manufactured like all of their gear. These are indoor lights so fair weather use only. This far north (53 N) we run out of strong sunlight before it gets too cold in the fall. Idea is to use UV lights for a couple hours each day centred at peak sun (currently 1:39 pm). UV light is the main environmental limit on THC and this will make the light in Edmonton in September more like California in July. Should have a big impact this far north. At other end of light spectrum, I use Forever Green Indoors (FGI) 730 nm far red light as a bloom booster. A few seconds at dusk is all it takes for the far red light. Black Lobster - Cipher Genetics Week 4 Bloom 🌸 Another great week for this girl, she's developing her budsites really well and has started to bulk too! The flower has a typical indica structure with purple tips and short thick stigma. Her smell is really coming through now and is the most dominant in the tent; heavy on the blueberry with a sharp citrusy scent that lingers, really stunning! Her overall structure is good too, with strong lateral stems that haven't struggled with the weight of her flower 💪🏻 All the girls have been moved into the Spider Farmer 8x4, because the 5x5 and 4x2 were too difficult to manage 👍🏻 ✂️ No work this week, she has sufficient airflow through the canopy as well as light penetration to the lower budsites. 💧 Watered every three days with 4L of RO water - nutrients were mixed individually, in order and then finally pH'd to 6.3. Mi experimento vuelve a demostrar que NO necesitas complejos productos de clonación ni sistemas para obtener clones! Hace 15 días puse 2 clones con el tallo sumergido en miel durante 5 minutos en una maceta de 400 ml con PRO-MIX HP BACILLUS + MYCORRHIZAE He mantenido la humedad alta con una cúpula de humedad casera hecha con una botella de agua PET de 5 litros cortada por la mitad y pulverizando a diario. Han estado los 15 días en mi terraza con luz indirecta, y temperaturas que rondan los 30 - 32ºC durante las horas centrales del día Hoy los he trasplantado a una maceta de 1 litro porque ya habían formado raíces y empezaban a formar nuevas hojas! 🐥🐥🚀🐥🐥 Día 42 (13/07) Riego con 500 ml H20 pH 6,5 Día 43 (14/07) Trasplante a maceta definitiva de 21 litros de ROOTPLUS Pot de GSKOREA GLOBAL! Estas macetas son una maravilla! Proceso de trasplante: Se prepara con 17,85 Litros (85%) de sustrato PRO-MIX HP BACILLUS+MYCORRHIZAE + 1,05 Litros de Humus de Lombriz (5%) + 2,01 Litros de Insect Frass (10%) + 210 gramos de Earth Vibes Super Soil (10 g/L substrato) Se llena la maceta de sustrato con las manos (limpias) y rompiendo los trozos más gruesos, para que el sustrato esté aireado y esponjoso, sin presionar Se coloca una maceta vacía de 6,5L para que quede la forma perfecta de la maceta donde están actualmente Se espolvorea la parte proporcional de la probeta de microorganismos sobre el agujero de trasplante Se saca la planta de su maceta actual (bonitas raíces 😍) y se coloca en la maceta final Se riega muy lentamente hasta percolación profunda con H2O EC 0,5 pH 6,5 Una vez asentada, complemento con un riego de 500 ml con 25 ml/L de Humus de Lombriz Liquido Se coloca mulch (acolchado) de paja para evitar traspiración excesiva y cuidar a los microorganismos del suelo A ver como reacciona al trasplante!
